Former employee. I'll put this way. If you or anyone in the industry has ever heard of Ray Arias, stay far away. He was the sales manager and is now gone. Which is probably going to really help their reputation. It doesn't explain how as an employee while I was there I was faced with little support, and the initiative I took to assist my clients was met with scrutiny. Luckily I could count on a small crew of hard working people to support me while I was there. Unfortunately, they've all left because for them, the writing was on the wall. read more

This is the worst title company ever. I opened title with this company which took over one week to get the prelim. The title showed a lien with GMAC which was paid off years ago when the loan was refinanced. I asked them to tell me what was needed to remove this lien, they never responded. I finally used a different company, received the prelim in one day and this lien was not there. I also asked who my title rep was, they said his name is Phil. I emailed Phil several times to help fix the error, he also never responded. I am a broker and sell lots of homes, I will never use or recommend this company to my future buyers or sellers. read more

Unquestionably the worst and most apathetic company I have ever done business with. These people are inept, unscrupulous, unprofessional, inept and lazy. To top it off their error resolution and customer service are the worst I have ever witnessed. This "team" horribly botched my escrow close, costing me major time value of money. They admit to choosing to pay the bank the absolute wrong amount and refused to do anything to fix the situation. You would be better off having a child handle your needs than Western Resources Title. The worst in the business. Avoid! read more

Haven't used any escrow company this bad (guess it's a hybrid of title and escrow service). Regret to allow the lender to choose this company. This escrow charges higher fees than other places. In addition, it does not do any in office signing using the smoke of Covid. It sent mobile signers while charging additional $200 for that 30min. The mobile signer didn't know much about escrow company's practice and it was disturbing that our loan was further delayed. Just terrible. read more

You can find more competent individuals at your local pre school. I didn't know you needed to be a Neurosurgeon or Physicist to realize that payoff amounts have due dates. If Junior Escrow Officers do this, I can only imagine what their superiors do. Completely disappointed on how my case was handled. Had they apologized and admitted they were wrong, I wouldn't be writing a negative review. If you want a seamless and stress less transaction...this is NOT the place to go. read more

Wow! this the first time I ever worked with Barbara Myers as my Escrow officer and let me tell you it was such a smooth experience. She was right on the ball whenever there was a need for her services. She always showed her professionalism and shined on each and every curve ball the transaction threw at her. We had a little moment where things got a bit shaky yet Barbara came thru every time, she is a woman with a lot of good contacts and her experience and dedication showed at that moment. Whenever we get listings out in her area my team and I will love her to take care of the clients for us. If you are looking for a wonderful, escrow officer that is dedicated, professional, experienced, passionate and well connected I will not hesitate to recommend her. By the way, the moment I contacted after business hours she always responded to me. That in its self was such an asset for me, especially when at times I needed the most help! RUN....!!!! AND FAST... Take it from someone who has spent endless hours trying to fix their mistakes. They are totally worthless. James has no regard for signed agreements, doesn't bother to request pay off amounts and simply does his own thing after paperwork has been signed. If you happened to have been referred to this company from American Quest Mortgage, be VERY CAREFUL, it's possible that they're together in the business of ripping off people. I'm still in the process of finding this out, and I will let you know of the outcome. In the meantime do yourself a favor, get a different company and save yourself the anger, frustration, and money that you will lose with this company. Consider the money I've lost with them enough for you and me... If I could I would give them enough negative stars to take them out if business and save others the struggle to have to deal with them. read more

Why do I like working with Western Resources Title? - They are responsive to my needs and my clients needs - They don't charge my clients a bunch of garbage fees like other escrow companies do - They get the job done right and on time If you are experienced and know what you are doing, Western Resources is an excellent partner and James & Barb do great work. If you don't know what you are doing and need hand holding, then you should go to a different escrow company and let that company overcharge you and your clients. read more

As long as you don't have questions...I guess this company might be okay. But if they send you documents that don't make sense and you ask what to do with them.....expect to be ignored. And when they do reply, expect to be treated rudely. To me, I don't care if i "should" know what all of the papers are for....it is "their" job to do the papers. How or why would I know what to do with all of the papers if I've never purchased a house before? Maybe they could include a note to tell me what I'm supposed to do when they mail me stuff? Roberta Radecki should do a little less underlining in her emails "_____________" to point out how dumb you are and spend just 10 seconds to explain what the papers are for. I am not a title officer...how would I know?? From the couple people in this office that I dealt with, I would think a class for them is in order...."How to just be a decent human being when dealing with others". :( read more

Cathy Ventrello is the most ignorant agent ever. The agency made up false reports to hold up our loan. Several were discharged in a disclosed bankruptcy, and another was a false child support case. We provided evidence and proof, and no common sense was used. Cathy even hung up on me. How professional. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Very shady work. Really scary when you think of how one person who has a bad day can screw your entire ability to own your home. Im reporting to the better business bureau and will most likely be taking legal action against the company, and naming her specifically for the stress and financial hardship she has placed upon this family. If you are looking for a job where you can just be rude and need no education, look no further. read more
