We went on a sunset flight for the last night of our honeymoon and LOVED every second of it. Vanessa was wonderful and made us feel so super special as newly weds and provided us the total experience (champagne, flowers, chocolates). Our pilot was fantastic and so knowledgeable, he did an excellent job and made sure to show us everything. If you're looking to go for a helicopter ride.. look no further!! We will definitely be coming back for years to come. We love WesternSky Helicopters!!

It's such a fun way to get some exercise in. I was sweating within 10 minutes of starting play. One thing that surprised me was what I feel like were new rooms and concepts. If my memory is not failing me and they are actually new rooms, that is very cool to know that they're always being updated and you can have new experiences despite having been before. Even if not, it's still a great place that I would frequent. I just need them in Tucson and I would have a monthly membership! There are a couple of things I think they can do to improve. For one, they should have benches, for those who may need a break from going into the rooms. I know the Atlanta one I went to did have benches. I also feel that there should be a water fountain. Should they add these things, I think it would really be the perfect place! (they are also losing out by not having a snack bar area with water bottles, snacks, liquid IV, etc.)!

They offered space for catering and sell soft drinks as well as adult beverages for a reasonable price. Bathrooms are very clean and also single person rooms. Really good AC and clean environment. I would highly recommend this as an alternative to the common alternative dave and b's or escape rooms etc. for some adult fun! Plus you get to use your noggin!

We originally found them through Groupon, but when we visited their website, we noticed they were offering a 25% off promotion from July 3rd through July 5th, so we decided to take advantage of that deal. They offer both a 9-hole and an 18-hole mini golf course. The 18-hole option costs a little more, but with the promotion, it was a great value. We opted for the 9-hole course and had a wonderful time. The staff was very friendly, explained everything clearly, and made the check-in process easy. Since we purchased our tickets online in advance, we were able to pre-check in for our reserved time slot. It was fairly busy because of the holiday weekend, but the course flowed well. Guests simply waited for the group ahead to finish each hole before moving on, which kept things organized. They also have a restaurant and bar inside, making it easy to grab food and drinks before or after your game. We noticed they offer happy hour specials from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, although I'm not certain if those specials are available on weekends. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely visit again if we're in the area. It's a bit of a drive for us, but it was well worth the trip for a fun family outing.

But I just came here to play mini golf. Staff was great, and I was able to start early since I arrived before my reserved play time. There are two courses on site (starting either upstairs or downstairs), you don't get to choose when you book online, at least I don't remember being given an option, they just place you in one. I did the yellow & green course (amber & emerald to be exact). Lots of lights and color with moving parts on some of the holes. And the main difference is automatic scoring via ball sensors (which means I couldn't cheat, lol). I actually never keep score when I play mini golf. But I do like getting extra tries. The place was pretty busy, so it probably wouldn't be a good idea anyway. The holes are playful and creative, but more flashy than challenging. I'm no pro though so I'm fine with that. After getting a hole-in-one on the first two holes, I was feeling pretty confident. I know it was partly luck, lol. Not surprisingly, it didn't last. I had fun, that's what matters.

Advantage booked us on our 6 day/5 night motorized raft trip through the Grand Canyon with Wilderness River Adventures and it was amazing from start to finish. The absolute most fun we've ever had doing anything. My husband and I are active seniors, 69 and 67 respectively and we loved every minute. Advantage and Wilderness coordinated our trip with pre-trip packing list, complete and thorough directions about where and when to meet our connecting transportation to Page, AZ, booked our first night's lodging and got us to the river in a comfortable coach with a super friendly driver. Our river guides were amazing - can't say enough good things about them and how well they took care of us and managed every day of the trip from wonderful cowboy coffee and delicious breakfasts to start our day, thrilling rides through the canyon with stops for hikes and lunches and selection of beautiful camp sites each evening with gourmet meals that were over the top!! We would do this all again in a heartbeat and stay longer next time!! Thanks Advantage for a life changing experience!

While he has properties all across the U.S., he's most well known in Phoenix for Talisien West. While Frank Lloyd Wright Spire isn't as extensive, it makes for a fun mini adventure. I stopped by on a Sunday afternoon and had no trouble finding a free parking spot in the entertainment center where the Spire is located. Naturally, it's right off of Frank Lloyd Wright Blvd. If you're trying to find where to park, look for Maggiano's. The Spire was actually intended to be part of the State Capitol Building (another cool place to check out). Instead, it ended up in North Scottsdale. It's a large spire that stands out due to it's geometrical design and color scheme. While I saw it during the day, it's also nice to visit at night (when it lights up) or around the holidays (when an elf is attached to it). Outside of the spire, you have a good number of interesting sculptures designed by one of FLW's pupils. There's also a nice water fountain and bench area designed by another pupil. You can see FLW's influence in frequent uses of symmetry. And last but not least, there's a little tablet telling you a little bit about the spire and sculpture garden. This experience is free and can be done in about 10 minutes. I still have a few FLW spots to check out in town. On to the next one!

We were driving to Cosanti and I wanted to stop here to check it out. My favorite part of Taliesen West is the sculpture garden with sculptures by Heloise Crista. The good thing about this location is you can see a couple of the same sculptures for free. The archer near the fountain is very memorable and I took a picture of it for a friend who visited TLW with me and he instantly remembered it.  The spire itself was draped with a blow-up elf for the holidays and it was distracting. It was originally meant for Arizona State Capitol. It's odd its just placed on a street corner though I can see why its probably the best location for it. The spires at the Marin County Civic Center and the Anderton Court Shops are integrated into his architecture and feel a lot more appropriate. Overall, it was quick free stop for FLW fans, no one else was there in the afternoon. You can see a wider breadth of the Crista Sculptures at Taliesen West and there are better FLW spires that are part of his buildings.
