Upon completion of the work, I reviewed the invoice and matched against one of their competitors who came in around 30% cheaper. I would expect not all service companies to be equal but when "Market Rates" are referenced on an invoice and don't seem to match other "Market Rates", that's a red flag for me. After trying to have a conversation multiple times with no return call or reply from the owner, they instead threatened to put a lien on the home. I would recommend getting multiple quotes for this type of work. Rocky Moutain BioHazard, sad to say, seems to take advantage of folks in great times of need.

However, I eventually found them adding to the stress. They did not complete the work as promised, further damaged my property and possessions, and increased the original quote by well over 50%. They also removed my ladder from my house and did not return it until I realized it was gone and asked for it back. I was given an insurance payment and was directed by my insurance company to withhold an amount for the incomplete work and damages. Instead of agreeing on an amount or taking responsibility and apologizing for the poor work, RMBH deflected, avoided responsibility, and even accused me of insurance fraud and threatened to put a lien on my home. According to the reviews, I am not the only one that this has happened to. RMBH is fully aware that their clients are in a bind but are clearly willing to take advantage of their situation and will resort to threats and accusations before rectifying their part. I'd advise them to actually perform the services they promise and ensure that future clients' possessions and property are cared for in the process.

There's a reason why Puroclean gets five star reviews!…read more After a burst pipe caused two waterfalls coming from the ceiling directly into our spare bedroom the first week of winter vacation, I gave Puroclean a call to help with cleanup after realizing I was way over my head and seeing their reviews on Yelp. Although they were busy with many other burst pipe cleanup calls due to the extreme cold weather we had just experienced, Chase was at our home within an hour of my initial call. He immediately put my mind at ease and developed a game plan to return things back to normal. Chase and Anthony visited each day for a week to check on progress, move equipment around and gave me updates along the way. They have great communication, always let me know when they would arrive and were absolutely amazing to work with every step of the way. I hope I never need their services again, but in the unfortunate circumstance that I do, I wouldn't hesitate a nanosecond to give them a call. A truly class act company.

After I had sent the the flooring selection they had attempted (possibly an honest oversight) to install lesser quality flooring in a completely different shade that I had sent them. Had I not caught it, it would have been in stalled. I was given multiple assurances that the project would be finished in time so that our tenant would not be homeless. Needless to say that deadline was not met 4 months after the water damage on a project that was not huge. Communication started great until we started to just be told what we wanted to hear without any follow through. I would not recommend working with this company at all.

I've been living here for just under a month, and I've only had hot water for about a day. The unit was not installed properly, causing it to short out and repeatedly trip the breaker. I've had this company come back three separate times to try to fix the issue. I've also hired an electrician to redo the connections, install a new breaker, and verify everything on the electrical side. At this point, I've exhausted every option trying to get this resolved. After contacting the warranty company, their response was: "If it's tripping, then there is something wrong with the heating elements. If there is something wrong with the elements, then it wasn't installed properly." On top of that, the water heater is leaking, and they were unable to fix that issue as well. Save yourself the frustration and go with someone else. I would not recommend this company to anyone. At this point, you'd probably have better luck doing the job yourself.
