Abysmal. I wrote a review about two months ago (honest, accurate, brief) and was met with the threat of a small defamation case. So I took it down hoping that would help to get the ball rolling with this deplorable company. But alas, they still have our deposit, continue to ghost us, and ignore responses asking for the money back. So I'll post comments from other online reviews that mirror our situation with Omar and Khan - perhaps they can group us together for a discounted defamation suit. This company is completely untrustworthy. First and foremost, they have the audacity to manipulate their reviews by having employees leave fake five-star ratings. One of their employees, who used MY basement pictures in a review, pretending it was his own! They even keep changing their accounts in Yelp and everywhere else. I hired this company after my basement flooded, trusting their reviews. At first, things seemed fine, but then everything went downhill. Khan and Omar reassured me over and over that the restoration would be flawless--better than before, even. But I was completely wrong to trust them. Once they received my payment, they vanished. They didn't complete the job as promised. When I confronted them about where my money went, they claimed it was for drywall repair. That's a blatant lie--fixing drywall didn't cost anywhere near what they charged, and they knew it. Now I'm finding out I'm not the only one they've scammed. We had a pipe failure on our hose bib in the late evening, the worst possible time. No other plumbing contractor wanted to come out, and all the Big Boys who supposedly do emergency services 24/7 couldn't squeeze us in for two days or more. Unfortunately during the record cold spell, one of the pipes in my basement froze and burst late at night in one of my tenants rooms. Luckily, it was caught almost immediately and I was able to call Khan and his team in to take care of it while I was working night shift. They arrived within the hour that I first called them! Through out the whole emergency call, he kept me updated on his plan and was very transparent about prices and steps for the future mitigation process. We had an old 17 year old kitchen faucet that was barely dribbling any water. I put out a request for help, and Khan from Denver Plumbing contacted me within minutes and was able to show up at our house in about 10 minutes. The old faucet had to go, which we were expecting, and we had already purchased a replacement faucet just in case the old one couldn't be fixed. I had thought about doing the job myself, but am glad I didn't because the installation was difficult due to the tight space, special tools and knowledge needed. As it turned out, the replacement faucet also turned out to have a defective part, which only a professional plumber would have been able to tell. Khan was patient enough for me to run and get a replacement so that he could finish the job, which as a result, took longer than expected. I had a ground level toilet and sink back up. Called Genteel Plumbers and they came over in about 30 mins. They diagnosed the problem and went to work. First they went at with the auger and then the power auger, neither worked. Went to the third option, which was the hydro blaster which got the problem solved. It actually turned out to that the main line out of the house was clogged. Took them about 90 minutes to complete the journey. Very professional in explaining the process and costs. Thank You for being an essential service during the Covid-19 pandemic. On April 1, 2020 your crew was excellent in fixing and replacing the leaky pipes under my sink. Everything works! I have been a customer with this company since 2017 for a variety of jobs: in 2017 the company, replaced the toilets in the master bedroom and hallway. The company problem solved the unexpected broken corroded pipes while installing the two toilets. This was no easy task and the work was completed in the same day. I am forever grateful for their work. The next repair in 2018 was the replacement of my water heater and it is working perfectly today. Then later in the year of 2018 there was a leak behind my washer and dryer which required remediation: removal of the growing mold and replacing the leaking pipes. The wall was restored and everything is working well. In 2018 my house also had a small leak in my sewer pipes and these were replaced too. in 2019, my kitchen sink's water connection flooded my kitchen.
