We went through our insurance company on a damages and they sent out PuroClean for the estimate. The estimate overlooked multiple items that needed repair and they had to go back and forth to readjust which delayed the project. After I had sent the the flooring selection they had attempted (possibly an honest oversight) to install lesser quality flooring in a completely different shade that I had sent them. Had I not caught it, it would have been in stalled. I was given multiple assurances that the project would be finished in time so that our tenant would not be homeless. Needless to say that deadline was not met 4 months after the water damage on a project that was not huge. Communication started great until we started to just be told what we wanted to hear without any follow through. I would not recommend working with this company at all. read more

Used Puroclean for a job last July. The company came quickly and cleaned up from a sewage flood. Unfortunately, they did not move furniture out of the way during the cleaning and left a sewage soaked sofa in the apartment. I carried the sofa out of the apartment a week later and found dried sewage all over the floor beneath it. The company was supposed to come take the couch and it took many days and a not-so-nice conversation with the owner to get the couch removed. I'd never dealt with something like this before and looked to them to help me know what to do...and I learned from my mistakes. Chris blamed his crew and threatened to fire his people in an angry tone on the phone with me - as if it was going to be my fault people would lose their jobs. If you have water damage, find another company to come take care of it. This company was difficult to deal with and wanted everything done on their time, instead of being customer oriented. Their supposed final finding last week was that there was zero water damage. Another company came out yesterday because our insurance adjuster found water in the bottom drawer of the vanity on Tuesday. This new restoration company got 99% readings of water in the wall, the vanity, and the carpet. Now we're delayed further to get things done because of Puroclean's lack of concern for our issues. I had water and mold damage due to a slow water leak over many months. Once I noticed it, I immediately looked on Yelp for a disaster and restoration company to come out. The big guys had terrible reviews. PuroClean on the other hand had great reviews. Brett was fantastic, he was very professional and knew what he was doing. He immediately began drying the place out. Brett was onsite daily for an entire week cleaning up and taking moisture reading. Brett and team was fantastic! We called PuroClean after our dishwasher leaked. They responded promptly for the first 4 days, but then we ran into problems. Poor communication across team members, and the people that came to our house didn't do what we were expecting from conversations with those who were here before them and the supervisor overseeing our job. I was never certain of what had been completed or what would be completed next. I was told by both the manger and the crew members that they had too many jobs and couldn't do what was recommended for our job "today." I discussed my concerns with the supervisor and the owner of the Broomfield branch. I do feel like the owner was genuinely concerned about my complaint. We scheduled a time when he or his general manager would come to do a walk-through of the job. The general manager came and brought up concerns of mold that he noticed and said he'd look into the notes from our job to make sure nothing was missed. After 3 full business days had passed and I hadn't heard anything back, the owner happened to call me to offer a condolence prize that he had previously offered. He scheduled someone to come by to follow-up with a procedure to ensure no mold growth. I spent my entire Saturday at home, and no one called or came by. I absolutely think that the owner of the company has good intentions, but the company as a whole is not a well-oiled machine and still can't get it together to remedy our situation after 22 days. read more

We had a sprinkler line break and flood a basement window well that spilled into one room in the basement. I called Scott and he came out and got our basement nice and dry. Scott was knowledgeable, compassionate, and professional. One tip for everyone: you do NOT need to remove the wet carpet and padding. Scott and his team can dry out the carpet and padding no matter how much water is present. This advise is free to you but cost me $$$. read more

After a burst pipe caused two waterfalls coming from the ceiling directly into our spare bedroom the first week of winter vacation, I gave Puroclean a call to help with cleanup after realizing I was way over my head and seeing their reviews on Yelp. Although they were busy with many other burst pipe cleanup calls due to the extreme cold weather we had just experienced, Chase was at our home within an hour of my initial call. He immediately put my mind at ease and developed a game plan to return things back to normal. Chase and Anthony visited each day for a week to check on progress, move equipment around and gave me updates along the way. They have great communication, always let me know when they would arrive and were absolutely amazing to work with every step of the way. We had a very positive experience with this company! They responded to all of our needs very quickly and went out of their way to help us make sure everything was fully taken care of. We had mold in our crawlspace and after several issues were addressed, using several other contractors to fix the contributing water drainage problems, Scott came back and did another inspection to educate us of the status. They advised us thoroughly and honestly about the situation throughout our project--including advising us about how to save money on the project, even though I would have been more than willing to hire them to do more work. They were honest about what did and what did not need to be done on my project. I will absolutely call them again in the future if we have new problems. Had a mishap with a bathroom over flowing and water running down the house. I called them and they came over within 2 hours of my call. In the end, it was a minor issue with relatively no damage but they were really nice and honest. No work for them in the end because they did not think it would be needed, but I definitely appreciated their honesty and readiness to help.
