Gosh, where to begin. I have been going to Dr. Brooks for over 10 years and have been thoroughly happy. Recently Dr. K joined the practice, and I was assigned to her as Dr. Brooks was out of town. I will admit I was a bit hesitant to have her adjust my back; I've gone to Dr. Brooks so long that I just wasn't sure I would get the same relief from her treatment. Wow, Dr. K. is wonderful! I came into Westerville Chiropractic desperate for relief from migraines. I am a student and work almost full time so having 10-20 migraines a month was debilitating. My first visit included x-rays and a consultation with Dr. Brooks. He took the time to explain what he thought was going on and I had an adjustment that day. The next appointment the plan was laid out for me along with pricing and how they could give me the best deal. From there it has been pretty simple I went in 3 times a week with the appointment lasting 15-20 minutes usually. As things improved I started going only twice and week and now once a week. Probably one of the most condescending "health care professionals" Ive even been to. Cuts you off while you're speaking.. does not listen. Offered a 5%-10% improvement after 24 sessions.. wow. Out of date xray equipment.. tells me if money is more important than my health to pretty much go kick rocks. This guy sucks. My experience with Westerville Chiropractic was excellent! The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and encouraging. After just a couple visits, I felt reenergized, was sleeping much better, and felt vast improvements with my mobility and flexibility. Not only did I feel much better, I also saw physical evidence that my body was improving; I was shown x-rays (at the beginning and end of my 24-week plan) so that I could see what exactly was causing my pain and how my body really did change over the course of my therapy. I woke up with a sharp pain at the base of my spine, very sharp. Spinal aches weren't new to me as I have had motorcycle accidents, a bad skydiving landing, a few car accidents, fell off a roof, fell out a window, et al, but this day the pain was too sharp to ignore and something had to be done. I called Westerville Chiropractic and they scheduled me right away. Chiropractic care is not a magic bullet, it's a process. You don't walk in, get "cracked", and walk out cured in one visit. I took my pain to Dr. Brooks and instead of crack-crack-go home like many lesser chiropractors will do, he started asking questions and did an actual exam of my spine, complete with x-rays, and then we mapped out my pain. I had been to several other chiropractors in the past, but their treatment was always a generic adjustment, not focused on my problem specifically, and I had never been given an x-ray. It turns out that I have a tilted pelvis, as evidenced by the x-ray. Some gentle probing confirmed that my L5/S1 joint was frozen...and had probably been frozen for a long time. I sold two vehicles because I couldn't fix the tilt in their seats and now I find out I'm the one who is tilted! I received a very gentle adjustment that day and set up a 30 visit treatment plan (it's a process, remember?). The sharp wake-up pain in my spine was not there the next morning, it was merely a dull ache but the improvement was very welcome and I viewed it as a great start. I started decompression therapy, three days per week for four weeks. The decompression machine essentially pulls your spine apart, gently, and allows fluid and nutrients to reach into the vertebrae, plumping up your spinal discs. That first day on the "rack" was less than pleasant and sitting up after the treatment was worse, but they assured me it would get easier and they were right. It took a week or so, but I eventually looked forward to my morning stretch. I could feel my back improving, it no longer hurt to bend, my strength was returning, and I even felt younger. I have completed 12 of 30 visits and, just today, I finally felt my L5/S1 move a little during my adjustment and it is glorious! Glorious!! Dr. Brooks is attentive and professional, he speaks in layman's terms and patiently explains the process in detail so I never have any surprises. Billing and continued treatment discussions do come up as they are a necessary evil, but you won't feel like a used-car salesman is giving you the full court press so he can finance his new boat, I promise. Dr. Brooks wants you to feel better and sees you as a patient, not a profit center. I won't go into too much detail, but the prices at Westerville Chiropractic are very reasonable with several payment options available (shop around, the prices at some of the other chiropractors will stagger you). His staff is well trained, polite, and very pleasant. The communication in the office is excellent, they never have to ask me about what the doctor wants to do. I was able to schedule a month of visits all at once and was handed a single page print-out of the whole thing rather than a phone-book thick stack of single visit pages. The office itself is clean and modern and comfortable as are the various pieces of well-maintained equipment. I actually look forward to my visits and today they even had donuts! Great doc, great staff, great office, great prices, and great balls of fire do I feel better! I was in an auto accident in May. I requested an appointment, as a new patient, via their online portal on Memorial Day. They called me the VERY next day and got me in that same day. My treatment plan was 3x per week for about 3 months. They worked with my ever changing schedule to make it work for me :) I am now happy to report that I am on a plan of 1x per week. Showed up early 1040 for an 11 o'clock appointment so I'd have time to do paperwork cause I was a new patient ...another new patient whose appointment was at 1030 showed up at 1051 and started his paperwork ..he then proceeded to be taken back and his exam started ..so him being 20 minutes late for his scheduled time and me being early so I'd have time to fill out the paperwork which is what I was told to do when I made the appt was to show up early so I'd have time to fill out paperwork turned into him being seen at my scheduled time and me being forced to wait...I work in a company where we also take appointments and if someone is more than 15 minutes late they forfeit their appointment ..I never went back into the room so I can't speak for the care or service they give but I do know if that's he mentality they have by just letting people stroll in whenever they want extremely late for an appointment and then they get seen during someone else's times I don't want to give that company any of my money or my time...why is this persons time valued more than mine? He didn't value your time by Showing up late , I showed up early filled out the paperwork and sat there and waited he showed up late filled out the paperwork after mine was already turned in and then proceeded to be seen first the only reason they gave is because his appointment was at 1030 , ok but he got here at 1051 my appointment was 11 I got here at 1040 why is it fair he goes first if he showed up late with no care for your time or his scheduled time pushing others back...because we are supposed to wait on him ..that's fair read more

Dr. Brooks is awesome! He is very personable, professional and best of all he gets results. When I first started going to him my right ankle was in constant pain due to a severely tilted pelvis, and I could not walk without my orthotics. After a few sessions of treatment with Dr. Brooks, not only is my ankle pain free, but I have not worn my orthotics in weeks. The facility is clean, organized and operates very efficiently. The team of employees are very friendly, and they make everyone feel welcome and at ease. His assistant Ashley is very knowledgeable and conducts herself in an extremely professional manner.
