Andrea's hands were like tiny sledgehammers sent straight from the gods of relaxation. I had Janelle, my friend had a young male (don't remember name). This was by far the worst "deep" tissue massage I have ever had. She spent at least 25 minutes on my anterior neck digging fingers into my neck (WTH). Next she pinched the lower aspect of each pec major and it was painful and bizarre. For background: trying acupuncture was a last-ditch attempt to address lower back pain I've had for years, which was sometimes so severe I couldn't sleep. I'd seen doctors, tried meds, done PT, you name it. My new insurance covered Sean's, so I gave it a shot - and I didn't have back pain again for months. MONTHS. Now I make an appointment whenever it starts up again, and it's gone by the time I leave. Jen is direct and knowledgable, she checks in with me throughout the treatment, and I thoroughly enjoy our conversations. Big fan. Also, I said I get the occasional massage, right? Jen's are great, but today I went to Sean for the first time, and I am SHOOK. As long as I can remember, moving my neck a certain way caused intense pain. The massage was a little intense - Sean did check in with me several times - but I suspected I needed the higher pressure, and I was right. I walked out of there, moved my neck, and...nothing. No pain. For the first time in my life. I feel like I've touched Christ's robes. I'm not the kind of person who cares what a massage office looks like. I've been to a lot of massage centers/spas, and I've learned that how fancy a place is has nothing to do with how effective they are. As long as it's clean and comfortable, I'm good, and Sean's is very clean and the rooms are usually at a good temp (and if they're not, just ask, and they'll get you a heater or fan). That said, I get that some people do care, so I'll say that most of the rooms are brightly lit and there's no ~ambiance~ extras (plants, candles, whatever). In sum: they're professional, clean, affordable, and SUPER effective. I'm moving a couple hours away soon, and honestly, I'll probably make the drive to keep coming here.

Latoya and Jennifer were both knowledgeable and professional, and staff wore masks and sanitized very well during my appointments. I viewed it as something you treated yourself to on vacation lol. I was so wrong! Massage, done by the right person, can help everyday health issues. I have had sinus/ allergy issues since the 4th grade. Fast forward to this week a bad cold and crazy temperature shifts had left me with a headache for 3 days. The dizziness was starting as was the pain down my neck and the back of my skull. The pressure was terrible! I was heading down the path to a sinus infection ugh.
