I travel on business a lot... and have been using National as my preferred choice…read more Coming to Saskatoon, Shelby greeted me with a smile and assisted me with a vehicle upgrade... due to my membership status. A day later, I got an email inquiring about my rental experience so far. This is a 1st as I never got these before. Well I had to voice my opinion... as I was not impressed with the rental I got. The interior dash was not wiped and was Dusty, coffee stains... plus the windows had smears. I got a reply right away and a phone call. Shelby continued to offer me another vehicle and I picked one... which had to be arranged as it was at another yard. I later figured out she got it from their sister company Enterprise. The switch over was flawless and I really appreciated the quick response to making me happy. Sadly, the new rental also had some garbage... McDonald's cup u dear a seat and sunflower seeds on the front passenger seat. This gives me an idea of how well they go over their return vehicles. The windows and dash was better... so I took some pics and off I went. 1 week later, I am back to return the rental... Shelby is at the counter. Again, the same warm smile and remembering me, my issues and wanting to know how the change of vehicles went. I did share my findings and expressed that it was better than the first. She again apologized which I appreciated, knowing it isn't her fault. She offered me a discount and that again goes to show me... her exceptional customer service. As I went to get her card, knowing I was going to review my experience at this location... she was so grateful that I was going to make a review. I am giving this a 4 star and it really is all Shelby. Keep up the great work and superior custimer satisfaction. This level of service is far and few nowadays. Being an executive overseeing managers who oversee employees on a daily basis, I know that we all love to hear of the front end... how things are going when it's positive... not always just the negative or when shit hits the fan.

This service is great! I was in town for ten days working on a project. Over the weekend, I had a…read morefew too many drinks in a local bar. The bartender recommended I use Zero8 Designated Drivers service. Zero8 Designated Drivers showed up with two drivers. One driver to drive me and my rental car back to my hotel, and the second driver to drive the Zero8 driver back to their officer. My driver was entertaining and friendly. I arrived safe and sound, with my driver's license intact. It didn't cost much more than a regular taxi ride, my rental car was back at the hotel for my use the next day, and best of all, I didn't drive drunk (or buzzed). This is a great service, and I feel good doing the right thing (staying off the road when I've reached my limit).

The staff is very friendly and helpful. They play an informative narration over the speakers as you slowly cruise down the river and the view if pretty cool. If you are in Saskatoon and looking for a nice relaxing outing then you really need to give this cruise a try. I enjoyed it quite a lot

Gayle and I arrived at the Via Rail Saskatoon Station on Day 3 of our Canadian train journey from…read moreToronto to Vancouver. We had a fair amount of time here, but the station is located within a CN rail yard and a long walk from anything interesting in town. So much for checking out the fastest growing City in Canada or wandering the leafy campus of the University of Saskatchewan! The Train crew also kept us on a tight leash on where we could go. We could walk along the train platform from the back of the train to a post several feet from the petrol truck filling the engine. Walking on the in between dirt or walking over a set of rails? No, although the later made a lot of safety sense and the former was ridiculous. Thanks to my "Bad Boy" persona, I took Gayle through the station and to its front to walk towards the front CN gate unsupervised. At the same time, we were happy to get outside. A 4-day train journey is great, but cabin fever can set in. Plus when they weren't serving as our hall monitors, the VIA staff continued their pleasant personalities, as part of their great overall train service.
