We decided to check this place out because it was walking distance from our hotel, and they were dog friendly so we were able to bring our pup with us. We do appreciate that they allow dogs inside as well because it was a little too hot for him to hang outside. They were even kind enough to bring some water for him. My husband and I shared a beer flight, and a couple of items off their food menu. Beer Flight - Hoppy Lager: Crisp and refreshing lager made with noble hops. - Super Dry: Japanese Style ale with a light body and dry crisp finish. (My husband's personal favorite). - Instant Guavafication: A blonde ale, loaded up with all the guava. (Our least favorite, lacked in the guava department). - West Cide Cider: House made from a blend of Michigan apple and pear juice. (My personal favorite). Shareable Plates - Giant Pretzel: Soft and made perfectly, most brewery/pubs have pretty dry and hard pretzels, so we actually enjoyed this. The Beer Cheese on the other hand, we haven't found a place to make it right. The one here was too thick, and a little difficult to get the cheese to stay on the pretzel. - Sausage Pesto Flatbread: The star of the our evening. - Buffalo Baked Chicken Wings: Tender and just okay. Nothing to brag about. Honestly, it's a cool place to hang out and enjoy a few drinks and light snacks.

Drove in to Las Collinas TX to meet up with some friends for New Years's and on the way out we stopped at Westlake Brewing Co in the Deep Ellum district. So glad we did, we had their Rainy Day Hazy, it was so good. Nothing like day drinking in Dallas at high noon. The young lady behind the bar was great. We told her we were looking for some merch (tin tackers) and by the time we finished a couple of beers and some great pretzel bites. We waited a bit for the pretzels, they came out nice and warm with some beer cheese...yum! Back to the merch, the bar tender provided us with a list of local breweries with possible merch finds. A lot of road construction going on around here, stop in and give them a try. Business has to be suffering with all the work going on, find parking and have a beer and some snacks.

Westlake Brewing reminded me of a brewery you'd find in Portland, OR because of the garage door type openings, where you could sit and people watch. They offer food and the pretzel bites with beer cheese was off the chain. I had questions about the beers and the nice gentleman working let me try a couple so I could make a good decision. Fun stop in a fun part of Dallas.

Despite some pretty rough construction around the area, we were relieved to find a parking lot just across the road. While it's not the most convenient setup, there are other parking options available. We stopped in to check out this new brewery, and I'm so glad we did! The space is roomy, with board games to enjoy and a fun lineup of events, like yoga and trivia! The staff was incredibly friendly, and best of all, it's dog-friendly, so bring your pups! Buffalo Chicken Flatbread $11.09 Buffalo sauce, chicken, mozzarella cheese, & ranch drizzle. We loved the light, crispy flatbread and appreciated that the buffalo sauce wasn't overly vinegary. The only downside, it it wasn't sliced as much as we would have liked, which made it a bit tricky to eat and tear apart. Choice of Brew Super Dry $12.75 - A Japanese-style ale with a light body and a dry, crisp finish. (6.0% ABV · 10.0 IBU) This was one of the lightest yet crispiest beers I've had in a while, and I truly appreciated it, especially as the day started to warm up. The beer prices are slightly higher, but it balances out since the food is affordable. Plus, they encourage a BYO food policy, which adds a fun picnic-style vibe. Overall, a great spot worth checking out!

Such nice staff! While we were waiting in line for a concert, my friends heel came off. They helped tape it up and were so nice about it. Thank yall!

WBC offers a unique blend of spacious ambiance and craft beer experience that's worth exploring. Upon entering, you're immediately struck by the open layout, adorned with clean light wood accents that create an inviting and trendy atmosphere. The ample seating, including a patio, makes for an ideal spot for larger groups. The highlight is undoubtedly the on-site brewery, visible through a glass wall behind the bar, adding an authentic touch to the experience. I love it when the weather is mild and cooler, as they raise the garage doors that open the seating area to the street. This provides a great place to sit and watch the people and traffic go by. I have visited Westlake many times over the last year or so and the service and staff have been nothing but friendly and knowledgeable about the beer menu, and quick to serve. The beer selection at Westlake is impressive, with an array of styles to choose from but it's not overwhelmingly large, which would make selecting difficult. When it comes to food, I think Westlake Brewing Company positions itself primarily as a drinking establishment. The menu consists of light entrees and appetizers, which complement the beer selection but may not satisfy those looking for a full dining experience. This focus on beer over food aligns with the brewery's core identity, making it clear that the brews are the main attraction here. The food selection is pretty straightforward, they have most of the bar favorites, chicken wings (baked), pretzels, chips & salsa, and a few others. Plus a tasty selection of flatbreads. Overall, Westlake Brewing Company presents an intriguing option for craft beer enthusiasts and those looking for a spacious, trendy spot to socialize. Its strengths lie in its atmosphere, making it suitable for groups and social gatherings. During lunch and early afternoon, it's a great place to grab a quick bite and get a little work done, it is surprisingly quiet during this time, so it might be an ideal choice for those seeking a more relaxed brewery experience. Westlake Brewing Company offers a solid craft beer experience in an inviting setting, making it worth a visit for those exploring the local brewery scene.

The beer was good and the staff was friendly. The food wasn't the best, but there are so many food options around it shouldn't be an issue. The brewery is super chill and has TVs. If you like craft beer, check it out!

Love this place. We visited on a Groupon and ended up getting a few flights. They have a whole bunch of different beers to try. They all were great!! We even got a few glasses to bring home with us and a few cans as well. We had the buffalo chicken flatbread as well.

Love coming to this place and always make a point to visit each time I work in Dallas. This place is very welcoming with large open space with plenty of seating. Easy to locate in the heart of Deep Ellum and easy enough to walk from downtown Dallas on a nice weather day. Check their calendars as they normally have Monday and Wednesday run club meet ups which is a great way to meet some new people of all skill running levels (walkers on up to runners) and you get to explore some nice nearby neighborhoods with large porch houses in a safe area for jogging. Also Wednesday night is normally trivia night which is a great way to share your knowledge and enjoy some beverages. They have a small food menu with pretzels, pizzas, nachos and such and they welcome you bringing in in your own food from nearby establishments. The staff is always super friendly and chill. The beer is good for Dallas with a nice variety of styles. If they made more good hazies like Celestial or Turning Point, then they might earn the 5th star for me

Service was quick and staff was friendly. I arrived shortly after it opened for the day so there was plenty of places to sit at the bar and in the dining area. Beers were good. I had their Shave Ice and Rainout Hazy. Buffalo chicken flatbread as also good however being from Rochester, anyone will tell you that Buffalo sauce only pairs with Blue Cheese and not ranch. The owner and I had a good laugh about it. I would definitely return to try more of their beers

Went to Dallas for a visit and a friend took me here.....First, I love beer.....Who doesn't, right? This is a very open space, with plenty of craft beer options to choose from. Seating was ample, they even had a patio. I love the clean light wood accents......Very inviting and trendy... My friend, who is a DJ, thought this would be an excellent place to have a party, espcially with all the open space and the patio. Spacious enough to accomidate seated, standing or dancing patrons, while offering the patio for smokers or those who want a little air. The server was friendly and knowledgabe about all beers on the menu........Did I mention, the beer is brewed onsight? Sitting at the bar, you can view the brewery which is located behind the bar, seperated by a glass wall. The beer was excellent.....I believe I had the delkus.....Twice.... I wouldn't recommend coming here to eat with a big appetite but they do offer food, although it's more like light entrees and appetizers. The beer is by far the centerpiece. My friend and I were suprised how empty it was on a late friday evening, citing that a plce like this in chicago would be packed. Definitely looking forward to returning.....

Friendly and hospitable owner/bartender; reasonably priced merchandise, free stickers, yay!! The place has a large dining area although we didn't get to try their food. The place looks inviting with a lot of games to entertain kids.

Tasty beer, great service, and cool spot. I really enjoyed the shave ice beer. The food looks delicious and there are games to play! If we lived here I'd definitely be back.

We didn't stop to do it but it's there. One slide can be intense, so probably not for small kiddos. Probably good for kids 7 and above (6 if they are courageous) just because of the climbing structure areas and bars width. Parents with young children should follow, they literally can land up somewhere else and some areas they do need to climb up and might need help. Definetly wear sneakers.
