Went here twice so far and the staff here were amazing to work with. They dealt with everything for me, especially when my insurance company was being a hassle one time. And one of my favorite things about them is that they will go out of their way to find a part for your car that is either an oem/factory replacement or a quality equal to it, and the icing on top is that they do not laze around so if the part comes in scratched or something, they will do you right and get another one that is clean. read more

Communication and customer service is horrible! I called a week and half in advance to set a appointment to get my car buffed with their receptionist. She even asked me if it was ok if she could call me back to confirm the appointment. As she did, it was confirmed. Week and half later. As I got there a guy approached me and ask what can I help you with a confused look on his face. I told him I have appointment at 11. He told me that the person who does that job has been sick and hasn't been to work for 2 days, and he wasn't aware of my appointment. Not just not aware of the appointment but that the appointment wasn't on the schedule was his response. When I asked why I wasn't notified about the person out sick? I am a new customer and there could have been other potential new customers but with this type of service NO THANK YOU! He didn't even bother offering to reschedule or a real apology, instead he just basically said oops ok bye! read more

Customer service is lacking. I dealt with Minh personally and when you tell people you are going to call them back and you don't - not once, but thrice says a lot about how you handle your business. Found this placed on Yelp and decided to give them a try. Initial impression of the shop on arrival was that it's in a hard to find location. Secondly, the owner was flaky and not punctual to meet up with me as stated. Work took much longer than promised and when I called in to get an update, his manager was extremely rude and unprofessional. So they decided to rush the work on my car and turns out that the paint work was done very poorly on my passenger side door and a lot of uneven and rough spots on the finish that my mobile wash and detailer questioned me about what happened. I thought my Yelp writing days were over, but I felt compelled to promote this little auto body shop because I was thoroughly impressed with their best-in-class service - quick turnaround, reasonable price, professionalism, integrity and outstanding customer service. After playing bumper car with my front bumper for the past few years, this most recent incident caused the vehicle to look too jenky for my own taste. And, after realizing the zip tie quick fix that had held the bumper together previously would only be a temporary fix this time, I didn't have a choice but to get an estimate for repair. I went to several other body shops in Westminster since I knew my people would be the most cost effective, but no one in that row of body shops on West State St bothered to help me. Luckily, through Yelp, I found this little gem hidden in a narrow driveway on Goldenwest St. One of the staff members greeted me after I pulled in to the parking lot, followed by Minh, the owner, who informed me that the banged up, barely attached bumper was too dangerous to drive if left that way. Prior to the estimate, I told him I needed to drive it for two more days before I could drop it off for repair, so he had his staff reattach the bumper with zip ties. During the estimate, I expressed my price consciousness to Minh and he offered after-market parts for the headlight and bumper and gave me a discount on the labor. The car was dropped off on a Thursday night and I was able to pick it up on Monday morning. Minh gave me a call on the weekend to update me on the progress of the work. My father, whom was a bit skeptical of the work, was pleasantly surprised by the quality and impeccable workmanship when he saw the brand new bumper. I've had another car worked on several years ago by a Honda dealership, and the cost and timeframe it took to repair the car was at least 2-3 times that of Westminster Collision Works. And, honestly the customer service alone is worth giving this place a shot because they've already proven their reputation being a contracted body shop for Lexus. Thank you, Minh, Tuesday, et al! I found Westminster Collision Works here on Yelp. I was comfortable with the great reviews I read here and the other research I did on them. So I decided to go with them. The guys at Westminster Collision Works took incredible care of both me and my car. They carefully walked me through their shop and their repair process. They take great effort to ensure their work is first class and their cars are restored to original condition (e.g., no overspray). And their prices were very reasonable (comparable or better than the other price quotes I received.) Minh regularly communicated with me to keep me informed of the repair progress, receipt of parts, etc.. The repair was performed on the schedule promised to me - very timely. In the end, my car looked incredible. They detailed my entire car (not just the repaired parts). They really took care of my car as if it were their own. And they went above and beyond to ensure that I walked away more than completely satisfied. These guys really make every effort to ensure total customer satisfaction. I was ready to use Westminster Collision Works. I received the approval from my insurance company and was told that I would receive a call to let me know when to come in to get my car repaired. Darren said that he would call me but it's been over a month. They are too busy and don't understand what follow-up means. I liked the owner and thought that he'd make sure his partner, Darren, would follow through. They lost over 2k of my business from not following through or simply calling me. Minh is knowledgeable, personable, and very responsive (texting, returning calls, sending progress pictures). you just cant beat their customer service, attentiveness, and their quality of work. my 2001 pontiac trans am ws6 is more than just a car or some machine to me, and in being such, i needed the best for her full-restoration job. i researched, interviewed, and met with multiple business owners over the course of more than half a year, and finally came across Minh and Westminster Collision Works. having 'Lois' since 2001, i can technically and subjectively argue that she looks better than when i first got her right off the sales lot - advancements in paint technology in the past 16 years, improved application and processing equipment, etc... i got her back about a month ago, and over this past weekend, i noticed some blemishes on one of the panels. i called Minh this very morning (which reminded me that i am overdue with this yelp review) and asked him about it. he explained that they did initially notice the defects and tried to fix it because it had something to do with the texture of the panel surface itself. well, it must have took time and more curing/setting, but the blemishes reappeared. without any hassle or hesitation, minh told me to drop lois off and he would take care of it. one of my requirements for choosing a shop was their warranty and after-sales support. a bit unfortunate that i had to put that to the test so soon, but so far it is processing as exactly as i had expected. there was no arguing, pointing fingers, reluctance or hesitation towards a resolution, or anything else of that sort. ill provide a follow-up review once her cross panel is made pretty again. too bad i dont have any more cars to restore...yet haha. Minh really does phenomenal work on the vehicles. I've had a couple of incidents where I've needed work done to my cars due to accidents or just property damage. All I can say is that I've never ever been disappointed. I would get updates on the status of the work being performed without needing to call for an update. Westminster collision works is one of the best auto body shops I've ever been too. I drive a 2014 BMW 428i and I brought in my car for some body work for my front bumper, side skirts and also paint dent remover for my doors (PDR) no more dings on my door. I can totally say that they do a really awesome job. Reasonable price and always do a perfect job. They do more quality work then quantity always gets the work done fast. I'm a really picky guy when it comes to my car and everyone that works there especially Minh they honestly treat your car as if its there own, so they treat your car with a lot of care and they also want your car to turn out nice as well. I want to start by saying that Westminster Collision Works is the only repair shop that I would ever take my cars to. The owner (Minh) is a very nice and knowledgeable guy. He has been in this line of business for many many years and he definitely knows what he is doing. I was referred to him by a very good friend of mine who worked at a local Lexus dealership. Westminster Collision Works repairs cars for the Lexus dealership as well as other car dealerships in the area. That alone should tell you what type of work they do. This shop is always busy, but they always seem to complete the work on time. Their work is the best I've ever seen. I have had several of my cars repaired there, and every time they have come out perfect. Last year was a very bad year for me. I was involved in two traffic collisions which were not my fault. I am a little embarrassed to say that I am a very picky person. Minh and his crew repaired both cars on time and I couldn't even tell they were involved in a collision. Most recently, I took my 2017 4Runner in because someone scratched my door molding while it was parked. Minh and his crew repaired the door molding and now it is back to looking brand new. I was a little worried that the color wouldn't match perfectly because it is a rare color. But I should have known that Minh's crew would color match it perfectly. My son was late to a show in hollywood an as he explained it he had a few drinks over a few hours during the show, when he backed out he hit another parked car. The damage was much more than i thought . The door and rear wheel quarter panel were bashed in, he took it to a few body shops for repair prices. then i call Westminster and took the car there, i was surprised by the owner on the repair time and cost, i left the car on tuesday and picked it up on saturday before the promised time. the repair was very professional it looked super and you couldn't tell it had beed damaged. I'm not one for writing reviews much but the work at this place is flawless. I was rear ended in my Lexus is350 and the bumper was banged up and out of alignment. I found them through Yelp as a shop that specializes in Lexus. I went by and spoke with Minh and explained my situation and that I was real particular about having my car look exactly as it was before the accident. He assured me it would not be a problem. When I picked up my car today I could not believe my eyes. It looked fresh off the dealer lot. He also helped me with some modifications to my rims and lights. This place is on point! Minh the owner was great about making sure my 2006 tan Honda Accord was back to mint condition. I had suffered from a hit and run, which left my front bumper damaged. My PREVIOUS long term body **has many 5star reviews on yelp aka Tho's** I have been going to has lost their quality in terms of (overspray, waxing while smoking a cigarette, hazy clear coat, air bubbles). Took me a week of heavily searching on yelp to find a new shop in westminster, and found westminster collision works. I needed a refinish/repaint on the rear of my lexus, and Minh the owner was very quick to explain the process and estimate of the repair. This place has it all-- competitive prices, quality workmanship, SPEED, and crazy accommodating customer service. Minh and his team are UNBELIEVABLE. I trashed the rear bumper of my Honda Fit-- So much so that even the inner metal frame was cut clean through. Being a poor fresh-out-of-college-and-flailing adult, I was girding up to do some crazy financial tap-dancing to be able to pay for what I knew to be replacement-heavy repairs. But Minh's quote beat out all the other shops-- AND he was able to finish it by Thursday of that same week! There are a lot of body shops around my place and i chose WCW based in its yelp reviews. 1st time having an accident which damaged my rear bumper and I came in talking to Minh the owner. He gave me a quick estimate and set up an appointment to drop my car off. There was a minor problem during the job but the owner went above and beyond to make it become my 1st best experience at a body shop ever. This is the reason why I didn't take couple stars off my rating. Another minor thing would be the location is kind of hard to find and make sure you do NOT use your GPS because it will take you somewhere else.
