Play kitchen in the children's area
    Ashley A.

I come here practically every week for story time with Ms. Adrian. My daughter is almost two and loves the story time here. It engages her with reading, singing, & dancing. There is a huge turnout every time so we get to interact with bunches of kids and their parents. Plus, as a SAHM, I love being able to interact with other adults! I think this is a pretty small library but they seem to have a good amount of classes & activities for the community. Right now they have a bin collecting coats & scarves for local charities. The children's book selection is amazing. They have a ton of baby board books, picture books etc. They also just revamped the play area for kids. It now has a play kitchen, a puppet theater, & gobs of toys & puzzles. If you have a child you must check out their activities here. My daughter loves it!

This library has a great kids section, my daughter loves it. however they do not have a very large selection, and are not open on Sundays.

Nowadays, it is a state-of-the-art facility which caters to all age groups and I am getting to learn about what it has to offer (too much to note honestly). First of all, I will note that the staff are excellent - very pleasant, diverse and helpful, not only to someone like myself (with not obvious "disabilities") but to others as well. It is very quiet areas. I have been utilizing the private rooms for peace and quiet to accomplish computer activities and it is definitely much quieter than it was back in 2012 when I would frequent the library while in school for a degree. There is a wide variety of materials to be checked out: I learned about the "Library of Things", which are literally "things" that can be checked out and taken home with you (one of the many perks of being in the IPL district). If you don't know how to utilize the many services, feel free to ask Guest Services and a friendly person there can assist you. My best recommendation is to check out the link to their website: https://ippl.info for more information. No one library is perfect but I believe they would be open to suggestions. :)

If You are an old schooler like me, there are also newspapers, periodicals (say that there times, fast) and magazines. IPL provides a delightful library experience, go try it for yourself...

I love where it's situated in beautiful Downers Grove, the security is a bit much but it's nice to know we're safe and it's not like other schools with high people traffic where you have bums randomly asking you for change, etc. (I went to undergrad in Chicago) It's clean and has a beautiful setting near a woodsy area, love it! The teachers are awesome, I've met some great people who are at the top of their field and are not only there to teach but honestly make sure you succeed. They provide you with the knowledge you need but also people skills and I've realized I've learned so much just in my first year about myself and what I need to do to improve in order to be the ideal health professional. I think Midwestern is an excellent school and if you're contemplating on going here, you should simply visit to see what they have to offer. I'm sure you will fall in love with it as much as I have :)

Shoutout to my CCOP colleagues!! =D…read more This is a great campus with nature blend with technology. I came from a really big camps (UCLA - go Bruins!) so I was not used to attending school at such a small campus but it is actually really nice because you can walk anywhere within 5 minutes (except when you have to walk to the Wellness Center). The library is a great high tech center with lots of study places and on the first floor next to the library, there is a 24 hour study room. I was a bit bummed to find out the library isn't open 24 hours. The gym is pretty neat and it is almost never crowded. I wish we had a pool on campus. The commons (cafeteria) has lots of yummy dishes that rotates every day so you can never get tired or sick of the food. It is CASH only though so if you plan on eating often, I would suggest getting a meal plan with the school. Parking can be pretty tough when all the students are on campus at once or trying to get out all at once...since there's only 1 way in/out.
