Of course I took her up on the offer and ended getting my brows tinted and cleaned up. The brow artist I had (sadly I don't remember her name) was so sweet and listened to exactly what I wanted instead of doing whatever she thought I needed. Needless to say, my brows came out amazing. I've gotten compliment after compliment because she did a really great job of making them look natural. She also gave me tips on maintaining them and what to use to help them grow in the places I have slight gaps. Another thing I noticed while I was sitting there waiting for my friend is that the brow artist wouldn't take her next appointment if let's say she was waiting 10 minutes for the tint to set on her 1st appointment. This is something I've experienced all the time and really dislike at salons because then you're stuck waiting till they're done with a person that came after you. I also opted for a full bikini wax session, and that lady pressured me to get more hair off more than I had planned for. Green Wave was A MUCH BETTER VIBE!! I was immediately greeted by staff the moment I walked in, and a minute later, my wax technician greeted me and introduced herself as Mariana with a friendly smile. I already started to feel at ease. She gave me an obstetric wipe to use before we got started, which puts me more at ease seeing how careful and meticulous their processes are. I can't say that waxing down there is painless because it's still hurt, but it didn't hurt as bad as my first experience -- I opted for the deep bikini ($35) and she cleaned up very well! She even offered to trim the rest of my hairs. Mariana was very patient with me, even asked if I wanted more hair removed and I did not feel pressured at all! Even after each pull, she applied pressure to dull the pain, and put powder and at the end used a cooling spray. Some of these techniques I noticed were never done in the first place I went to, which was just all pull and pull with no mercy.
