If you are looking for a plumber, look no further! We had our pilot light go out unexpectedly and was not able to get it reignited ourselves. Westridge plumbing replied promptly through Yelp Messaging, while other companies were not responding in a timely way even though they indicated a 20 minute response time. After speaking to other plumbers they all charged about $120 to come out the next day to diagnose the problem. However, Westridge plumbing came out within 30 minutes of our conversation around 10:30 pm and did not charge us for their diagnosis (turned out to be a problem with our control panel of the water heater tank). They carefully and thoroughly explained our options of replacing the control panel or getting a new water tank (and tankless) since ours was nearing the end of its life span. We decided to sleep on it, but notified Westridge Plumbing that we would like to just get a new one the next day. They gave us a 1 hour time window on when they would arrive and arrived within that window! They were prompt, gave us an electronic invoice, and were done within 2 hours. I was the most impressed with their communication through Yelp Messenger. They made no assumptions and carefully explained things and were upfront about the costs. Our water heater was not working. I called them early evening and Muhammad show up in one hour to help to diagnose issues. They instructed me how to get the parts from Rheem and were able to pin down the broken parts with limited information. Very dedicated worker. When I got one of the two parts in. Asked him to come over to fix it. He didn't respond for almost the whole day Saturday. I was very anxious. Finally Muhammad responded and came over in early Saturday evening. He told me there is traffic accident in his family and he was occupied by that the whole day. That is why he was not getting back to me. He is sorry for that. To compensate for that, he decided to charge me no money for the water heater repair. I was super surprised. I wanted to pay for his service, but he insisted on not charging me and only this way will make him feel more peaceful. Woh! That is really the integrity and sincerity in his heart. I really respect and appreciate this kind of people. When he fixed the water heater with the controller only, the water heater still doesn't work. The burner need to be replaced, but my replacement burner will not be here till Monday. Muhammad went to his warehouse to find a used one to put on for me and made the water heater working finally. I want to at least pay the cost of the burner, but he told me he got from his customer for free and refused to charge me. Any business is for making money. Our washing machine was running and ended up overflowing, and the toilet and kitchen sink backed up tonight (Saturday) around 8:30pm. This was not the first time this has happened, so I knew it must be a mainline clog. I was a little worried about finding someone who could come so late on Saturday night, but based on Yelp reviews, I called Westridge and Muhammad said he'd be able to come in 1-1.5 hours. He came right within that window and was able to snake out the main line and clear our clog. He had given me a range of what it might cost on the phone and he ended up charging us the lower end of the range he quoted because we had a clean out drain for easy snaking. The price was really reasonable, and less than I had paid a different plumber a few years back when I had the same issue. He also gave us some advice about different types of sewer pipes, as we're in the process of remodeling a bathroom and considering whether to change out our old pipes.
