My fatherin-law contracted with Mohammed to replace a water main at his commercial building. Mohammed trenched almost the full length of the building, about 3' from the face of the building. 3-4 tenants are open to the public. The tenants employees and customers were forced to step over a 8"x18"x300' open trench. To this day, he won't send me his insurance policies. He started working around beginning of March, left open trench 7-10 days. So much more to the story, but my fatherin-law is 94yrs old. Sent Mohammed a check for $30,000 for a $21,840 job. I had a plumbing problem for weeks. Didn't know if it was the garbage disposal or something more serious causing a flood in my garage's laundry room. I had a few people come out. 1st guy was private and snaked it, but said I needed someone with a longer snake. Called a larger company that was offering an $85 (could have been $75) fee for snaking. The kind gentleman came and snaked it, but was concerned that the snake could snap back or something like that. His supervisor came out and gave me a $17,000 estimate for work. In all fairness a couple of those items are needed, but not at their cost. Ok, so that was the background of why I appreciate Precision Plumbing. This review has nothing to do with the quality. I need someone to snake the clotted drain in the garage. They show up promptly and finish the job in a timely manner. However, I was not expecting the bill is that expensive for 1.5 hours (they claim to be 2.5hrs) job. It cost $600 to replace a p-trap. It is not an easy job for non professional to be fair as they are replacing the metal pipe with an abs. But I am just surprise how expensive for a little job. read more

I had a second project and again went with Precision Plumbing. I needed to add a Leak Detection/Auto Shutoff device in order to get a decent discount on my home insurance. Muhammad was helpful in providing a quote and assured that they can provide the invoice with all the proper information as requested from my insurance company. I scheduled for a Sunday between 10-11am, but Muhammad's associate Alberto showed up later around 12. I was in communication with Muhammad and I was aware of Alberto's delay which I was fine with. Alberto showed up and got straight to work. He mentioned about his previous project that day and how he ran into some unexpected issues, which is understandable when working on someone's home. Alberto did a great job installing the device. He changed the galvanized steel section coming into the house with copper and added the shutoff device in a way that I can service it in the future. If I could give 10 stars I would. First Precision Plumbing was nice enough to haul to Oakland, I know they're far. Lucky me they did so. Second, Eric came out to test for a gas leak that PG&E confirmed to us and the previous plumber barely checked anything and said PG&E must have been lying. Huh what? Enter Eric. He tested AND found a small leak on the nut connecting the flex tube on the HVAC, a place they don't normally test. I will be using Precision (and Eric) again for sure! read more
