Laura's reviews were outstanding so I picked up the phone and made an appointment with her. I have never been sorry! Over the course of the next 6-8 months, Laura guided me as I chose shutters, shades, paint colors, drapes and cornice, pillows and window seat cushions. She even allowed me to pick her brain about accessories. I have been happy with each and every selection. Laura has a great sense of design but knows how to tactfully suggest more suitable alternatives. She listens to your requirements and preferences and makes recommendations accordingly. Laura is always pleasant, reliable and is a woman of her word! She even puts you at ease in sticky situations. Should I need more help decorating in the future, I will turn to Laura Nally. I had Roman Shades installed in my Family Room and Living/Dining Room today by John, the owner. #1 - I enjoyed the professionalism and expertise and personal service John offered. #2 - John immediately had a sense for the style and color I was going for and even offered suggestions as I was FaceTiming a good friend for advice (what patience!). #3 - I shopped around and MSF&S offered the best value for the quality product, variety of materials and styles and work they delivered. #4 - I appreciated that John, himself, communicated every step of the way, delivered earlier than expected and installed the shades himself - where most designers will send someone else to do the work. I should've known something was off from the very first meeting -- I rearranged my work schedule to…read moremeet Angela and she didn't even show up. Despite that red flag, I still tried to give her a chance. What we were sold and what actually arrived were completely different. The shades had visible issues, were damaged, and the overall quality was extremely poor. I might have been more understanding if the customer service was good, but Angela was rude and dismissive. When I pointed out the problems, she insisted via text that nothing was wrong. I had to push her to come in person, and when she finally did, she admitted the shades were indeed wrong. Unfortunately, the next set of shades came in with the exact same problems -- poor quality and not as promised. When I tried contacting her, she was again nasty and unprofessional. She even came to my home and was shockingly disrespectful to both me and my mother before storming out without even saying goodbye. Angela claimed she would reorder the shades and claimed that this had never happened before, but the following set also came in damaged and unusable (at this point 3rd round of shades that were horrible quality, damaged, etc). At that point, we demanded that she remove all the shades from our home. After weeks of fighting with her, we finally got our money back, but it was an exhausting process filled with disrespectful communication and zero accountability on her part. Now, not only were we treated horribly and had our time wasted, but we're also left with holes and chipped paint on our brand-new walls from uninstalling the shades. We are beyond disappointed that Angela was recommended to us. I would strongly caution anyone considering working with her. If you want good quality shades and respectful service, look elsewhere.

The salesperson's tablet was very slow, and I was out of time. Very frustrating experience. I felt like a product I had not requested was being forced on me. I needed something for a large window and a patio door that would provide light blocking at night and some screening of the western exposure during the day. The Duolite product would meet my needs, but I would have needed a vertical blind for the door. The salespersons insistence that he knew what I wanted killed the sale.

A local business said they only worked on Hunter Douglas products and might not be able to get the right parts. Then... cue drum roll... Ziegler said they would pick up the broken blind and return it the next day. Turns out, they did even better. Sean came in the specified time window - hallelujah! - after calling to say exactly when he'd arrive - double hallelujah! - and happened to have the right part with him. He had the blind fixed and working within minutes. Pricing was reasonable, and obviously the service couldn't be beat. 1000000% recommended.
