It was my battery charger that I needed repaired. Not a battery. 2. You state you "we know what we are doing here". They sold me a 2018 Club Cart which was suposed to come with a Litium Ion Battery. About 5 months later I find out it a lead acid battery, It took many calls to get them to finally fix my cart Takes weeks for someone to get back to you.. They charged me for a new Litium Ion Battery even though the contracted stated Litiium Battery with a 5 year warranty. I had the cart for another 3 months and the battery lost power. I then called them back after doing some research with another company. They never replaced the battery meter to match the new battery. They refused to pay for this fix. I had to pay another company 352.00 to fix the battery indicator. I've spent over 2000K addtional $ just fixing this cart. Buyer beaware, read the contract and I would do your research! We needed 6-passenger gas powered as there is a big hill that has to be driven up-and-down multiple times and they were able to provide. They even deliver on the weekends which some companies do not. I made the mistake of giving them the benefit of the doubt and wanted to support a local business. Man was that a mistake. We ordered the cart months in advance. The first cart we rented started smoking one day and needed to be replaced. They replaced it with a cart with faulty breaks which resulted in us ruining in to a pole. The third cart they brought would just stop working mid drive. The customer service is awful and they get extremely defensive. You never get to talk directly to the owner. The daughters that run it are rude and have no customer service. I can't believe they even have 3 stars but it must be their friends writing fake reviews. I was really hoping that the reviews I read on Yelp were wrong. Unfortunately, they are not. We went to them earlier this year to buy 2 street legal golf carts. During the sales process, everything was lovely. They were incredibly responsive and kind. It wasn't until after we made the deal that things fell apart. They didn't return calls promptly on issues and questions, they did not get us the paperwork we needed to insurance one the used cart, their advice on the insurance costs was completely incorrect (carts are very expensive to insure) and it took weeks to get them to fix a problem with the used cart that arrived not working. When we purchased the golf carts, we wanted an all-in cost as we had only had a certain amount allocated to our budget. They made it seem like they could take care of everything quickly at the price they quoted. Fast forward 4 months and we receive a bill for $934. The sales receipt from the vehicle said they charged $500 and $50 for DMV fee and registration. We attempted to contact them about it to find out what we were paying for and they were incredibly defensive, hostile, and rude. They accused us of yelling at them, even though I had them on speaker phone with our team in the room and no one was yelling. We will not do business with them in the future. Please know that while they have a nice showroom and inventory, do your own research, get everything in writing, and find out all you need to do before processing the payment because they likely will not be forthright on the backend of the deal. We are a reputable non-profit and I hate leaving reviews so if I take the time to do it... It's bad. read more

DO NOT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY! First I must say, I was overjoyed when they were able to fulfill my last minute request for an event that had a steep driveway following a rainy day. But my joyest expectations were quickly met with disappointment. Within an hour of my event one cart stopped working and then about 30 minutes after that, the second cart died which was very surprising being that I had booked them for a 5 hour window. They sent a 3rd cart 2 hours later but by that time my event was pretty much wrapped. I was in constant communication in real time throughout the whole event with their team, even sending them photos of the dead carts on the driveway as my guests walked by them so it was even more appalling when I was met the next day with no refund and the worst customer service you could ask for. I was told by Karen C. that they had "bodies" there so they were deserving of the full amount and also told me that since I signed their contract (the one that you need to sign in order to even get the carts to your location) stands since it states we will not dispute any transactions which tells me they do this quite often. I paid for 2 carts that died within 1.5 hours into my 5 hour event that cost $3,600. You're forced to sign a contract in order to even get the items to your location and if the items you paid for no longer work during your contracted window, they are not held accountable. I even submitted a claim on AMEX but because it states in the contract I signed that I will not dispute the transaction, they could not do anything. At least we all know that bad business will catch up to them eventually but until then, save yourself the time and money and DO NOT WORK WITH WESTSIDE CART RENTALS . read more

We rented golf carts last December and they decided to charge our credit card a second time with out our permission. When I reached out to them to get it refunded they told me sorry for the inconvenience and they would refund me. A week will go by and no refund. I would ask again nicely and they said they would refund the charge and nothing happened. I asked at least 5 times in hopes I would forget about it. This would go on for over a month and a half and Still no refund. So I disputed it with the Credit card company so I thought that would be the end of it and all would be taken care of. I was wrong they ended up disputing the charge and giving the Credit card company false information to look like The second charge was authorized. I have numerous emails and text messages saying they are going to refund me the money. They are liars and crooks. I would never rent or recommend using them.
