Vespa of Sherman Oaks 13629 Ventura Blvd, Sherman Oaks, CA 91423 I helped my friend pick up a new 2022 Piaggio Liberty 150 today, and our experience at Vespa of Sherman Oaks was fantastic. The entire team was friendly, and the dealership had a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Even when staff didn't have the answer to a question immediately, they were quick to find it for us. They gave us accurate time estimates for the paperwork and made sure to stick to them, showing how much they value their customers' time. What really stood out was that every employee brought something special to the table, transforming what could have been a stressful experience into an enjoyable one. Highly recommend this dealership!

The only place to score a Vespa scooter. Lexie and team delivered a 5 star experience when acquiring new 2024 Vespa Primaveras - 2 for family. We excitedly traveled out of state to deal with Vespa LAX despite living in a large metro area with several Vespa dealers. We were drawn by their enthusiasm for the brand and no pressure sales. They answered our many questions without breaking a sweat while accommodating our many customization requests. It was a pleasure to road trip to LA especially to visit the first ever Vespa dealership in the US. There's no better place to purchase a Vespa. Give Lexie and team a shout and thank me later.

    Claiming the scooter

I have purchased 4 Vespas from Vespa Los Angeles. I cannot say enough about what great service, great inventory and the wonderful people. The moment you walk in the store you feel the Vespa vibe. I was recently in the Moto Bello Orange County store and saw a grey GTV 310. Two days later Kenny the owner had it in Sherman Oaks waiting for me. I've been dealing with Vespa LA since 2020 and as I've told them I will only buy from them. The service department is top notch. I trust my scooter is in good hands. The staff at Vespa Los Angeles understand it's not just a Vespa, it's a lifestyle.

Outstanding warranty service, friendly staff, great product. I bought my Piaggio BV 400 here in April 2022 and have had no regrets. The one time I needed a minor warranty repair, it was quick and easy. I just reached my 600 Mile service and making an appointment was easy. I just arrived at my appointment time, was greeted, I asked about adding a top case which they'll install at no additional charge, signed the paperwork and handed over my keys, sat down and enjoyed the music. When I've called asking questions over the phone, the staff have always been helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. It's a nice environment with a comfortable waiting area. Always fun to see the new Vespa and Piaggio Scooters that have come out, and this location has always seemed to have the latest models and Piaggio's custom officially licensed models like the Justin Beiber, Christian Dior, Mickey Mouse, Barbie, and other limited edition releases.

I bought my scooter in 2016 back when it was owned by the previous owner DAVE & had the BEST buying / servicing experience. I went back in recent times & what a disaster! EVERY. SINGLE. THING. is EXTREMELY DIFFICULT with these establishment! From ordering, 2 purchasing (never happened), 2 servicing, 2 common reasoning! NOT 2 MENTION, the counterfeit branding! They had "BARBIE" "WB (Warner Brothers)" decals on scoots that were NOT OFFICIALLY LICENSED BY VESPA / BARBIE / WB (see pics). So B careful & don't fall in love 2 quick! You might buy a FAKE! "VESPA LOS ANGELES"????? this location is in THE VALLEY........... LA is LA If you want 2 support a dope company check out SCOOTERWEST.COM on YouTube ! They have hundreds of helpful videos with COMPLETE transparency which will help you throughout your scooting journey. Hope you see this before you blindly stumble across this place.. Never again will I go here (unless new managment, which expected 2 B soon) ROCK ON VESPA FAMILY

Rack looks good on there !

This store is so cute and fun ! I bought my pink Vespa from here in 2020 and the process was so easy they made everything easy and delivered it directly to my house they let me test drive it and took care of the paperwork-- I cannot rave enough about my experience ! I needed a rack for my Vespa so I came back here to buy one and they installed it and everything ! They remembered me too which I htought was super sweet. Everyone at the shop was super nice and they've got a great variety of vespa accessories and anything you might need for your ride ! 10/10 recommend this place to anyone looking to purchase a Vespa !

It's been my dream to buy a Vespa ever since I visited Rome ten years ago. And this year, I finally decided to commit! I exchanged emails with Megan, and she was immensely helpful. She gave me out-the-door prices and financing options over email. I was also excited to hear she was a teacher like me! The team was a joy to hang out with. Megan helped me make a decision with color and answered all of my questions. Kyle was super fast with the paperwork. And both Kenny and Kyle were a huge help loading my new Vespa into my truck, which was more of a mission than I realized! I had so much fun hanging out at the shop while getting the deal done that I can't wait to go back for my first service and to do one of their club rides. Super efficient. Super friendly. Everything you hope a Vespa shop would be. Thanks so much!

DO NOT TRUST ALVIN, He will take parts from your bike reuse them on other bikes, lose important…read moreparts, or swap them with old and worn ones. Upcharge you for repairs He does not do or half asses. Below is proof verified by a trusted reputable mechanic. Had a few repairs done at this shop after getting rear ended and spent close to $2000 in repairs and parts. Alvin was the main contact and the mechanic who worked on the bike. He replaced the handlebars, rear fender, did a valve adjustment, checked compression, front break cylinder, break pedal, and etc. I when I picked up the bike the first time break cylinder was not installed properly leaking breaking fluid. There was/is a piece of metal rolling around inside the handlebars - that of which he did not remedy, I figured it's so minor compared to the major repairs I won't make a deal out of it. When he installed the rear fender, the sissy bar and small compartment was misaligned/fender was crooked- preventing the compartment from closing. He informed me that I needed a new stator and rectifier along with a gasket. When I picked up the bike after he said it was done, the bike was Leaking oil, the gear shifter was not connected, there was a missing alem screw, a part on the bike was not tightened, and a he had lost a bolt....and the bike was revving at 2000rpm. I had to bring back the bike for him to fix the oil leak and other issues he caused. I've been patient and respectful with him. When seeing that the bike was not put together after telling me it was good to go - he made comments about how it was not his fault. What the hell am I paying you for?! You're not even getting the parts. When I picked it up again (3rd time) the bike was idling lower than 1000rpm, still leaking oil and white smoke coming out of the exhaust on start up. I asked him to fix the oil leak since it was still leaking & adjust the idle properly and he said he would fix it if I would buy another part- pickup coil (that I had just had him installed) and would charge me labor. As it was a faulty pickup coil- which was new. I told him I already paid him for the work to be done and won't be paying for the issues he caused. Important- I tried to contact him multiple times through text and call, and have not heard back from him. The last I heard he indicated he was not making enough money at the shop to get by and is becoming a truck driver. Took the bike to another trusted and reliable shop further from me who informed me that the pickup coil was installed incorrectly causing the oil leak, there was no valve adjustment done. The mechanic also informed me that he had upcharged me for simple repairs that clearly was not done. The bike was loosing power has a ticking noise and other issues. A technician informed me that: pulse coil was twisted together and wrapped in electrical tape (per the pics) and not soldered! The plug under the side cover was broken and loose behind the out cap (picture). I had put in 2 iridium spark plugs and was informed there was 1 iridium and 1 old bpr70s spark plug- to make things worse Alvin took one of my new spark plugs and swapped it out with a crap one. The amount of money I paid does not warrant this crap job! And the audacity to lie to my face about the repairs he did. This is by far the worst mechanic I have been to, dishonest, does not admit his faults and is clearly not knowledgeable when it comes to repairs. If you've read this entire review I hope that these issues do not happen to you. Do not trust Alvin. And make sure that your bike is 100% when picking it up.

He's taken care of all of the preventative maintenance and all of my off script requests. Not only on my Zero...but also on my Indian... He's got top notch skill and cares about the details. AND he takes the time to talk and explain what and why...never seems rushed. So chill... I would trust him with ANY issue on ANY bike. I would 100% recommend Tyler at Motowerkz to anyone!

I've known Tyler from Hollywood Electrics days and followed him to two other locations to work on…read moremy bike. In the last couple of months, the battery cells on my Zero motorcycle became too unbalanced and Tyler said he had a healthy (used) battery he was looking to sell. The front wheel of my Zero had also been making noises, so I refrained from riding it for several months while I proactively saved pennies on the dollar to afford to replace the battery and fix the front wheel. I do not own any other vehicle except this motorcycle. I finally took it in to Tyler and explicitly told him to look at the front wheel. He said it was "probably just age". I paid $400 up front so he could buy a part to retrofit the used battery to my bike model and an additional $2300 for the battery & labor. While picking up the bike, he made no mention of the front wheel. Exactly two weeks later with minimal rides, the front wheel gave out while on the freeway. Turns out the bearings needed to be replaced and had Tyler looked closely at the front wheel instead of just a standard test ride (which would have been done regardless), the problem would have been resolved before it got worse. In fact, he tried to justify his expertise by stating that I had only requested a bearings replacement on the rear wheel several months before. The front wheel got severely damaged from worn out bearings and front wheels are not available except on the used market. Luckily I did not get hurt. I'm out $2700 and my bike is effectively only good for parts or the scrapyard. While Tyler had allowed my bike to stay at his shop awaiting a potential replacement wheel, he would have charged $200 to transport it back to me, in addition to the $160 I paid AAA to tow it to him, so I'd be out an additional $360, over $3000 total. I trusted Tyler's expertise and now I have no motorcycle. He's been reliable in the past but this negligence & lack of properly diagnosing the issue was not only disappointing but he has shown zero accountability and would not recommend him or Motor Werks.
