This place appears to be driven by a group of doctors that are really cash driven. Teeth whitening for $500 plus $100 pre-required exam that is rich. The technician was friendly and dedicated but the cleaning results were less than satisfactory. So would not recommend. I was left with the impression that this place is just driven by financial greed. A mandatory $100 examination before whitening is not common. Many dentists include the oral exam as part of a regular checkup or simply waive it. Requiring a separate $100 exam for a healthy patient seeking only whitening makes the total $600, which is above what many patients in El Paso pay. read more

I went to this office. I went because I am allergic to plastic and needed something like implants. The dentist said he could get me implants. I was thrilled. 3 implants were put in. One day the assistant came in with a denture and said this was mine. I said I came herere because I am allergic to it. On two occasions the assistant said I will remind the dentist of this. Two visits later they came in with the denture and said my work is complete except for a little trimming of my denture. I paid over 15 000 for this work. My husband went.there had a tooth pulled and decided to not go back because of my experience. Now the dentist charged him appr. 10,000 for implants. He never.had the work done. Our insurance was billed and paid. Also a finance company is billing us for the difference. The issue is the work wasn't even done. This is fraud. Do not use this office. read more

AVOID! AVOID! AVOID! The dental team completed unauthorized dental services, and my dental insurance denied the charges. Then, I was billed over $300 due to "frequency." I had not been to the dentist in over a year, I requested a cleaning and was told they would be completing basic x-rays. I don't have any dental issues or complaints. After 2 hours for a cleaning appointment, I requested a bite guard with Dentist Hanin and was told it would be ready in approximately 3 weeks for the protection of my upper teeth (Approximately $724 CASH). When I returned it was a bite guard that protected my lower teeth, I have experience with bite guards I had 3 in the past for my upper teeth NONE were covering my lower teeth. If I used this rock of a mess that was $724 on my lower teeth I would need new upper teeth!! I was gaslighted by "dentist" Hanin stating that is what I requested. I returned 3 weeks later (now almost 2 months after I ordered the bite guard) and was told I had to pay over $300 for my dental cleaning??!! Absolutely not, not when I have NEVER paid more than $50 for a cleaning. Does a CASH dental cleaning even cost more than $300??? I still don't have my dental bite guard. So my husband got his tooth taken out and these people here are sooooo rude. It is so disgusting on how vindictive they are towards their patients that they dont like. Imagine being in so much pain because they didn't send the prescription to the pharmacist knowing that their patient will be in pain. Very unprofessional and absolutely uncalled for. Its sickening! I can see now why they got a lot of 1 star reviews than 5 stars! Get your act together before someone will sue you for negligence. Medication is part of the doctor's job and failing to do so is not acceptable! My son was driving around town and checked every pharmacy in the area while i was calling places at the same time and today when i called they couldn't tell me where they send the prescription. I called today to do a follow up periodontal cleaning. I was told that it would have to include an exam which happens every 6 months. When I was there in January at the 6 month mark it was never mentioned. Now they will not do the cleaning unless I do the exam. I was told it is company policy. Strange it was never mentioned before when I was going for root canals. I do not have insurance but pay cash. I was asked if I wanted vitamins for my teeth and they have a dental insurance plan for 300. I'm sorry but I just wanted the follow up cleaning for 155 at this time. read more

I have been with Westside Dentistry for implants and dentures. I'm the biggest scaredy cat and baby when it comes to dentists (bad experience when i was younger). Miss Claudia took impression for my implants today. It's been several months and I'm about to finally eat foods I've missed. All the staff is fantastic. The biggest issue I have with them is how pushy they got with pay some money up front for your next appointment so that way they have you at least for another visit. Another reason I can't stand this business, is after paying the co-pay and going for the procedure, getting a bill in the mail saying still owe because the insurance didn't cover that portion.....I'd rather pay up front not after and being told you better pay this cause you already had the work done. Listen, I'm more prone to pay up front, at least tell me how much I need to pay after the procedure not after the process and then just send a bill! Worst business practice I've dealt with. DO NOT GO TO WESTSIDE DENTISTRY! This is the worst dentist's office I have ever been to. They will tell you an amount for a service and you pay and your insurance pays and later after you think you are all paid, you will get a bill for an amount you never heard of. The invoice they send will make no sense and have amounts and charges that you can not reasonably understand or ever remember being told you would be charged for. There are warnings not to go to this dentist on other websites and I read them too late. However, I will never pay this crazy bill I received in the mail. Dentist's bills on your credit report mean nothing so no big deal. Just be warned about this office and choose another dentist. read more

Terrible experience drove over 3 hours for my 8 30 apt arrived 8 15. Saw a Doctor arriving and asked her where clinic was as it was'nt clear to me she said out front open at 8 30. Sat in my truck until 8 30 there was a locked gate around a patio and I waited for the gate to open. The doctor opened it at 8 55 I went in to the office door and the door was lock and a sign on the door said they were closed for staff meeting until 9 30. This company is like a Scam Company. My Dad went there to get his teeth extracted only. They tried to convince him to get 2 teeth implants. But He didn't speak English very well, so he told them to call me to talk about it first. But they called me and told me this " Your Dad told us to call you to inform that he will get his implants." And then they misled him to paying almost $10k for 4 teeth extracted and 2 teeth implanted. And after he got the implants, the gum got infected and then now they wanted him to pay almost $1k more to get it deep cleaned. Like they kept wanting him to pay more and more $. They extracted totally 4 teeth. Made him got 2 implants and then after that they told him he needed to get the other two implants as well, if not it'd not be good for the teeth. They didn't say it at first. Like anyone will have $20k available in hand to pay for it. Noted that he paid in full at one for his service in the beginning. Do not go to West side Dentist clinic. They are not patient care centered. They do not value your concerns at all. I was very hesitant to do their treatment plan because i do not want to get a bridge. The dentist did not even explain the reason why my front tooth has swelling, She did not even assess my whoke teeth. She just rely on the staff or assistant on their finding. She keeps pushing that i need a bridge on the front tooth. At that time i did not know about a Bridge. I instantly knew i did not want it. She did not explain that the two teeth health teeth will be scaled down and eventually destry the other two teeth in the future if it fails. I told i only want certain treatment and the financial counselor said they will only do the treatment the dentist recommend. Either do their treatment or none at all. They were estimating the charges of total $ 10,000. After they bill my insurance about $ 500. They have the nerve to ask for $24. I already paid them $ 93 upfront. They overcharge you with xray, probing and comprehensive exam. I went to another dentist so i forwarded the digital xray. Guess what, the other dental office said tge digital xray was terrible, it was so blurry and the pictures so bad and could not read it. I have to re do the xray again. IF YOU don't want a headache and have competent practice. Do yourself a favor. Please do your research and find a competent dental practice. read more

This office has gone down hill ever since Dr. Kimball is no longer practicing. They are just making money off his name and he comes in and collects the cash... Had to have an 'adjustment' on my tooth and I got charged $250 for only 10 minutes of work and waiting around for over an hour. It has really gotten bad ... mostly in the front office. Terrible experience. They charge in the C.Card the whole amount of the work that they said that I needed. They, only started working in my mouth, "SURPRISE" when I received the statement of the bank, but, for my on time immediately attention they had to refund to my cc. for the big amount for the work that they didn't do. I called and availability was open for the following day. The receptionist calls and reminds you of your appt and calls to check up on you after your procedure. The Dr is pretty funny and plays great country music. Just bring a sweater because they keep it a bit chilly. The dental assistants are experienced and make you feel very comfortable. I didn't have any problems with the pain. The Dr did a 4 hr procedure on me and didn't have any problems during or after. read more

This dental practice is unethical in the fees charged and their billing practices. They billed $400 for 5 minutes of the doctor's time to fix a broken filling - no novocaine needed, simply cosmetic. They repeatedly misrepresented my copay amount, leaving me to pay over $500 for a cleaning and this one procedure and I have dental insurance, which they assured me they accepted. They are not upfront at all about their pricing, and then will seek more money at a later time. Mixed emotions.... I had a broken molar and decided to go to this dentist because my primary dentist is not covered with my insurance anymore. The first visit was excellent with Ms. Patricia and Dr. Kimball. I needed a cap. Everything went fine... However, when i had to go back to the office Patricia wasn't available and they took me to another tech, which i don't know her name but i think her name is also Patricia, i am not sure, and she was TERRIBLE!!!! She made my experience hell.. There was so much pain and i had to stop her and told her i was going to leave the office. She couldn't get my blood pressure, she was unprofessional and just plain evil. Until this day, i can't chew anything with that molar. Crooks. I've done a lot of dental work primarily in AZ but my company has one of the best plans. First time here in El Paso , for similar work I've done in the past they wanted to charge me 14k I total work. Remove the 4 for Invisalign , still 10k for a few fillings and a root canal. They mentioned because the insurance wasn't paying for it but they had t tried to get a hold of my insurances they still needed to confirm a few things so I told them to get confirmation from my insurance first and then I can make appointments for the work. Weeks pass on without a call, I call them. No one bothered to call insurance company but all of a sudden they were doing a "special" where they will just charge only half hahaha almost comical I'm in sales myself and I'm not an idiot. 6k for a few fillings and de tap work is still overpriced. They're marking up the price and overcharging everything. I would never trust this dentistry with my family or anyone's family. I'm just surprised they're screwing people over and allowed to be in business with how shady they all are. read more
