WESTVILLE: Westville Brewery is located right downtown in a former firehouse and the architecture of the space makes it so unique! We visited during the holidays and loved all the decorations and lively crowd. Leashed and friendly dogs are allowed inside and we were immediately brought a water bowl for Brie without even being asked. The indoor space is tiny, but they set up the space well with a few tables and bar seating. There is also an outdoor patio with heaters for more room. There are TVs to watch the game and you can bring your own food! We really enjoyed the Wits End wheat and Toss My Woodermelon Salad sour (what a great name!). Brie kept entertaining everyone with her dancing and the owner comped us a free beer in appreciation. We are so thankful for the wonderful customer service. We had so much fun playing Trivial Pursuit (there are decks of cards on the tables). There is parking in the back of the brewery and on the street. read more

Westville Brewery is one of those small South Jersey breweries that fly under the radar. You won't find them at your local liquor store or at your neighborhood bar, and the space itself is one of the smallest breweries I've ever been to. But don't let that fool you; this place packs a punch. I've been here several times over the years and just stopped in on a Friday afternoon with my girlfriend. They had 11 beers on tap plus a hard seltzer (and they let you choose flavorings for the seltzer so there's just about something for everyone), plus a slushy machine with a beer slushy and a seltzer slushy. We each tried two flights so we had everything on the menu. Excellent variety and quality in what they offer. And then I left my backpack. I had gone down the shore for the weekend and couldn't come back right away but I called and they said they could hold onto it until Tuesday. My girlfriend and I came back on Tuesday intending to just grab the bag but ended up staying for a few beers and so glad we did! We sat at the bar talking with some of the regulars and the bartenders. They were offering free hotdogs and barbecue chicken from a food truck and it genuinely felt like having dinner and drinks with friends. I've never felt so welcome at a brewery before. Bottom line: this place is an amazing place to hang out. Excellent beer, table games, Phillies on the tv, friendly people... what more do you need?! We will definitely come back! read more

I really liked this place a lot! Excellent service and great beer. Our bartender was a bigger fella and he was excellent. I tried 3 different beers they were all excellent. My wife even had a rare second beer because they were so good. The inside looked pretty cool and the whole front wall opens so that's awesome. Over all the place was very clean and fresh glasses were provided with every pour. We will be back and hitting up some Big Swerves next time. We were really impressed with everything here. Okay. Wait. What a hidden gem!! I have been thinking about stopping. We finally did and I was not disappointed! I got a flight with the Blueberry Crumbcake, Sour, Bloody Mary and hazy. The Crumbcake will have you sold! It was so delicious I had 2! The owner was there and she is awesome! She answered all of my questions and even let my husband try some new brews. It's a small spot but super cozy and welcoming. Bring your dog! They love a good boy! read more

Westville Brewery is a really fun place to hang out. I never realized that Westville is actually a nice, old town with a downtown street. As these breweries have been opening up, they have been bringing more traffic to these otherwise underappreciated towns. They are located inside an old firehouse. The other patrons were really friendly, and I had a nice time chatting with them. The beers themselves have yet to fully blossom. They also all tasted similar to each other, when they should really be more distinctive. However, I think this will all change for the better after the brewery is open longer. read more

Last night, my girlfriend and I stopped for a couple of pints after having some really great beers there on Wednesday. The place was pretty crowded, but there was an open table back by the cooler and in front of the brewing area, so we sat down. There were two girls working behind the bar, and we got no acknowledgement whatsoever from them. I will grant that it was busy and they were running beer out back and to the tables in the tasting room. We sat there for about 7-10 minutes before the girl with the dark red hair and tattoos even muttered to us in an annoyed voice "We'll be with you in a bit." She and the other girl then disappeared out back, leaving the bar unattended and a line of customers began forming. After another five minutes, the girl with the tattoos came back in, walked right past us and proceeded to go shoot the breeze with the table near the door. At this point, we had enough and headed towards the door. We walked right past her, didn't make any kind of eye contact or say anything. In response, she says loudly, "Thank you! Have a nice day!"...........essentially a "nice" way of saying "f### you." We went up the road to Eight & Sand, where I proceeded to try and contact the owners of Westville Brewery via Messenger. I reached someone, but I'm skeptical it was one of the owners, and they essentially paid me lip service. For the record, neither I or my girlfriend are rude, nor are we troublemakers. We frequent many of the local breweries and we always ensure we take good care of the servers, especially after all they've been through with the pandemic. I've met the actual owners of Westville and they're really great people. I find it extremely difficult to believe they'd put up with the kind of antics we experienced last night. However, I made it perfectly clear that I will not be returning if the young lady in question is still working there. read more

Really nice people here, owners are amazing, and their beer is always great. They do a mix of your everyday IPAs mixed with some interesting styles and flavor profiles. There pineapple hopanero is so good, a great balance of spice and sweet, I could drink on a hot summer day and be very hoppy! read more

I had been wanting to stop in since it opened and was finally able to the other day. Although it's small, it was still really comfortable and didn't feel tight. I heard that they don't have AC and just keep the front open (it's an old firehouse, so it's kind of like a garage door)--despite it being some 90 degrees out, the place was surprisingly cool and not hot! There were quite a few beers to choose from and I can't remember the names of the two I had. The one was mango, which was amazing, and the other was a peach, which was really good. They had a few board games you could play and I noticed a very small outside area in the back...I can't be sure, but I think it was concrete and enclosed. All in all, thought this place was great and I'd definitely come back! read more

I am so happy this brewery opened up in this little town! I originally stumbled upon Westville to first go to Speranza. Then we stumbled upon Lorenzo's, and NOW we have this great brewery AND that cupcake shop!! The brewery is cute inside and has a nice outside area in the back when it's warmer out! The beer is very tasty and there is almost always a new fun beer to try! The owners are incredibly nice! read more

Brand new brewery in our small town. Great brew menu, great tasting craft brews, awesome staff, and just a great place to meet friends! I honestly love this place already.... "Meet me at the Clock!" While you're down at that part of town, check one of the restaurants right next door. You have Lorenzo's Cabana, Puerto Rican/Mexican/American foods. Not fusion, real deal authentic. Or Speranaza. Awesome artisan pizza! Reminds me of when I visited Italy while in the Navy. Or! Broadway Pizza. You have your normal pizza place with pizza, wings, sandwiches, and lots of little bites to accompany your brew! Oh, and you can bring the food into the brewery OR utilize Westville Brewery's runner to go pick it up for you! Can't say enough...love this addition to downtown Westville. read more
