i have lived here a couple months. the unit is nice and the people who live here are kind. the…read moreproperty manager- rachel is very nice. the only issues i have with this place is the laundry room and the pool. first off, don't even bother washing your clothes here. you will be spending so much money drying your clothes because these dryers DO NOT dry your clothes. good luck getting a refund from the company for your clothes that are still soaking wet. it's been 2 months and im still waiting for it to be processed. you also can't make another refund request until your first one is processed ???? you have to buy a pool pass to be able to use the pool here. why should i have to pay for a pool pass, at a complex i pay rent at for an amenity that you offer? then you buy the pool pass and the pool is closed for weeks at a time?? what a waste of money for the pass. you call the office/property manager to ask why and no one can give you answers. the pool has been open about a month and has been closed for 2 weeks already. if you want an apartment with a pool, don't bother coming here!

Not at all spoken, by the residents, as a "senior home or facility," but instead they call it a community. In fact, they would like to refer to it as Cloverleaf Communities. The apartments are spacious, quiet and the residents are friendly and sweet as pie. They offer events in the community room, celebrate monthly birthdays, have a family room, offer billiards, hair salon and shuttle for those who are no longer driving. You think senior living and shoot to an age range of 80 years and older, no. I met a women in her 60's who was just tired of the yard work! I met a man in his 70's who works out at the gym three times a day, hunts and enjoys the food in the area. The biggest perk, the residents will say, is the dish washer, stainless steal appliances and the fact that they can send their grand kids home at the end of a long day. I laughed. My mom does the same. If you are in the area, do a tour. Now, I was only there for work, but I told all my new friends that I would be renting out an apartment asap and would see them soon, and I'm only 32! ((Don't tell my son or husband.))

This "Senior Apartment Complex" is marketed to the senior citizens but offer no senior amenities. No car-ports (even though they publicize they have them). No shoveling sidewalks (public area); no shoveling of ramps from sidewalk to parking lot for those with wheelchairs/scooters; trash room doors that are so heavy they can't be opened by most tenants in a wheelchair/scooter holding a bag. One elevator that goes out with the electricity which leave those again with wheelchairs/scooters, unable to get to their apartment. Smelly halls that when asked of management, you get "it is what it is". Landscapers that blow grass onto the patios of ground floor tenants and then have to be raced down (in a wheelchair/scooter) to have them blow off the patio. A maintenance person who says he will do work then never shows and found sleeping in the parking lot. A property manager that never leaves her desk and just gives lip service (vs. personal service). Tip of the iceberg people! Don't go! I wouldn't send my enemies here (then again..)

The overall cleanliness and pleasant aroma of the place, along with the peaceful ambiance both inside the suites and in the hallways, really stood out to me. During the tour, Joy from the office made a fantastic impression with her extensive knowledge and delightful personality. She made me feel right at home, providing detailed information in a folder that I could refer back to. Her professionalism and warmth have only heightened my excitement to part ways with my current house and make the move to downtown.

Nice carpeted floors (soft and new) Furniture nice and stylish Excellent cleaning staff that came once a week to clean the apartment. Pricing is the best for downtown. Believe me, I checked dozens of locations. Location is excellent in downtown with ease to walk anywhere quickly and easily. Front door-man on evenings does help with a feeling of safety. Cons: Staff was different every time I booked a stay or was living there. So no one really went overboard to help with anything as they knew they would be leaving soon. Our thermostat would not work EVER. I left one weekend in August for business and when I came back the AC was on 95 and blowing heat continuously. They came in multiple times both years to fix but I had to manually fix thermostat multiple times a day. No secure parking. Our car was broken into twice in the lot across the street that they rent to residents. Both times I asked for video footage and they said the cameras do not really work and they would not offer any compensation for the large sums of money I had to pay out for insurance to fix my windows, car doors and new seats and carpet. Will definitely consider going back as location and amenities were the best in downtown.

There was an extended amount of time where the security gates did not work, and that was an inconvenience. Upon move out, they took $378 from my deposit to pay to have the carpet replaced. The carpet was poor quality and outdated (compared to the carpet in other units at the Terraces at Northridge), and showed normal signs of use for 4 years. The only damage was from when their toilet cracked and spilled water all over the closet. This is a sneaky practice that appears to be a way of using tenant funds to pay for updates they would have needed to make anyways. I am saddened to have to leave this bad review.

Management promises things and doesn't follow through. You have to chase them down to get any kind of repairs repairs take anywhere from 2 to 4 weeks. The place smells like weed since letting dogs in the building. There is pee in the elevators and smell. Heat not work in the winter. They're happy to take your money but don't ask them to do anything for you in return. They huff and puff and give you side eye when you ask for your mail (the mailroom is locked to residents) and make you feel like you're an inconvenience. All they care about is getting you in the door. The only redeeming feature of living in this building are the maintenance guys, they're responsive and I appreciated their service. Think twice before you sign a lease and make sure you read every clause. It's airtight and they will trap you in. They once tried to renew my lease for 12 months without my consent and I had to pay double rent when I moved out even though I gave the agreed 60 days notice. They will get you at every turn. All I'm saying is, watch out and consider your options.
