Dana quoted me $470 to pump and clean the tank, with no mention of any additional charges. After the work was completed, the technician presented a bill for $585. When I called to ask about the difference, Dana explained that the quote was actually $470 per 1,000 gallons--something that was never communicated during the initial call. Had that been made clear upfront, the higher cost wouldn't have come as a surprise. The technician did quality work, but the lack of transparency in the quoting process was disappointing.
