Ready to go! Feels like brand new :)
    Richie D.

My racket needed some serious TLC! When you first walked in, and see the 3 stringing machines, all sorts of rackets on the wall, and the feel of the store being there for years, I knew I was at the right tennis shop. How I missed playing tennis over the pandemic. I had an itch when I saw the pros play on TV tournaments. So I found this place by researching because my racket needed a serious refresh before I got back to the courts! Normally I would go to a Sports Chalet but they didn't exists anymore!! Haha and the sound of supporting local businesses sounded good to me! I asked for the strings to be replaced with synthetic Wilson strings and a new grip, mine was already falling apart. They ask for the tension that you want based on your style of play to make sure you have what you need! Left it during lunch time on a Monday, and they were very busy and thought it would be ready on a Wednesday but they ended up finishing my racket for the next day! New strings and grip, felt like my racket was brand new. New strings and grip was $46 out the door! $36 for the synthetic strings and $10 for new grip. They also have a tennis racket demo program that you can rent a racket for around $3 a day, as many as you want and when you spend $25, it can go towards the purchase of a new racket. Call ahead to see if they have your racket available first. Play on! Always looking to play around West LA!

Really one of the better locations on the west side for tennis needs. Rick, as previously mentioned in other reviews, really is very personable and knowledgeable. I came in to re-string my sons racquet as my usual place was closed. They had a pretty good selection of items on display and two stringing machines. This store is primarily a Tennis shop and not a sporting goods as the signage indicates which is fine by me. The only thing I wished they had that my usual place has would be the label showing string, tension and date of the strings used when installed. Otherwise, it took two days to have the racquet re-strung and overgripped. Job was done well to spec. I have a feeling we will be back.

    Purchased in 1994!

In dealing with the assistant manager who argues with you, rolls his eyes, tells the customer that they are wrong (despite his inability to do a simple exchange and a return with two separate receipts) & then still get charged incorrectly. We left with discontent for a place that once was a childhood staple. As he spent 20 minutes trying to do so while slamming the scanner, refusing to listen or admit fault, & making a lady wait behind when he could have called someone else... I began to wonder how this place stays open. In going on a separate occasion I watched another teller ignore an elderly man making a purchase, & consistently give him attitude as he inquired about his purchases. Additionally there's no common customer service or hello or thank you & in turn you're ignored. I rarely say this but I would have interacted with a robot instead of a human.

Well staffed, no waiting, and help if you need it. No bathroom. The clearance rack had some really low sticker prices, and when I got to the register they rang up even lower than the sticker prices. And the cashier gave me an additional 10% off my entire bill just for my email address. I left with a huge bag of clothing 7 items for less than $80. My whole shopping experience was great.

Title: No Customer Service, No Shoes, No Respect - Stay the Hell Away…read more I ordered a pair of boxing shoes from Fight2Finish over a month ago, and guess what? Still no shoes. No updates. No communication. Not a damn thing. I emailed them multiple times--got nothing back. I called them on several occasions--not one call answered. No voicemail, no follow-up, no tracking number. Just radio silence. They straight-up ghosted me like a shady ex, and the only reason I got ANY kind of help is because I filed a dispute with Affirm. And guess what? Affirm had my back--I finally got my money refunded. Not a single word from Fight2Finish the entire time. Zero customer service. Zero professionalism. Zero effort. This wasn't just bad business... it was no business. They literally pulled a no-call, no-show on a paying customer. I don't care how dope their gear looks--what's the point if they don't deliver it, don't respond, and don't give a damn once they've got your money? Avoid this place like ringworm at a jiu-jitsu gym. I'll never spend another dollar here, and if you've got sense, you won't either. The whole time all I really wanted was some type of Accountability and Reciprocity. Because, hey, I did actually spend my money. I'm wondering if they were doing the whole: Bye from us and we'll go to the official website for you and have them send it to your house type of situation. I mention this because I went to the website and the product that I ordered was out of stock on there. Who knows? But listen, if they would have told me that the item was out of stock, or whatever the case was, then I wouldn't even be writing this Review.

My husband had a little sticker shock at the register for the 26 lb weight we were buying. He took a moment because he thought it was a little less online. When he asked "and that's the total with tax?". Normally you hear back a confirmation but instead she said no with tax it's $73.62. Mind you we were at the register to pay not for a price check. My husband was looking at his phone and she blurts out "you want it or not?". We told her yes but I had to explain to her he is just taking a moment to look up the price. Normally someone at the register gives the total price when purchasing not sub total. I walked away once my husband got the receipt and was already a good ways away from the register and she yells out "Good Bye!" In the most patronizing tone. It was the cherry on top for this review. We are all human and can do better but this right here is why online shopping and self check out is putting cashiers out of jobs. Maybe she should remember that the next time she wants to be unjustifiably rude and try to make people feel less than with "you want it or not?". So if you want your intentions to be buy something rudely questioned in front of other guests than this is the place and Jaslene is your go to.
