I visited this store on 7/17 just to have a logo stenciled onto my tennis racket. They charged me $10 for it. A lot of tennis clubs do this for free, but fine -- no big deal!‍ The stringing guy looked like he had just gotten fired from a house-painting job for being too sloppy. First, he somehow managed to put PINK ink on my BLACK strings ‍ and handed the racket back to me like everything was perfectly fine. After I told him to redo it, he applied the logo in white, but did an unbelievably sloppy job. He got ink all over my racket! I actually had to go buy a solvent afterward just to clean up the mess he made! I absolutely do NOT recommend this store, and I definitely wouldn't trust them to restring my racket if this is the level of care and attention they put into their work!!! read more

I had my racket strung twice here in the past month or so. The first time, the strings they recommended gave me such a strong wrist pain after playing just twice, that I couldn't play or even properly twist my elbow for 2 weeks. I took the racket back, paid for another stringing and the racket came back with strings as hard as concrete. I took it back and asked that they fix it and they wanted to charge me for a 3rd set of strings. Not going back here or taking their advice again. read more

Selection: I went to BusterPro for several restringings and a new racket upgrade. They have a wide variety of the latest racquets and can accommodate a wide array of strings. Their prices are competitive with the standard online prices for rackets. Value: I really like their racket demo program. Basically you pay $10 a day for each racket that you rent and try. However, all of that gets deducted from your purchase price at the end of the demoing. Service: the staff were really patient with me for each of my requests. They gave me a wide variety to figure out my play style and then directed me towards various rackets within the Control style of play once we figured it out. read more

They baited and switched me. I mentioned the racquet brand I had liked in the past (Babolat) and they told me it was $285, but that a Yonex Ezone 100 was $105. So, naturally I want to try Yonex and they charge $10 / day to test drive. Unless it's terrible, I am planning to buy it. Racquet was a vast improvement over what I had been using, so I come in to the store to buy and string it. Of course, now somehow the racquet is $300!!! I'm not a $300 racquet player; I'm a hack. The original salesman knew I was not going to buy a $285 racquet, why would he even bother to direct me to a MORE expensive one??? For $300, it should be a magic Jack and the Beanstalk racquet, and I never lose a point. They baited and switched me. So disappointed in my latest experience. I've come here in the past to support the small business, including buying rackets in spite of their prices being a touch more than their relatively local competitors and online options. But I have to share my most recent experience was not the best. They were friendly about everything, so I'll share what happened and you can decide. I bought a grommet head for the racket that I bought there. Took it to my local pro/teacher to put it on the racket and he couldn't. I took it back and they stated that there would be a $15 charge to put it on (which isn't unreasonable), so I took it to another buddy who is a pro and he couldn't get it on even with the suggestion that the shop gave. I decided to cave and took it back for the $15 charge. After working on it for close to an hour, their pro couldn't get it on either, he thought, maybe correctly, that the last grommet was bent from use. Having taken a cursory attempt myself the second time, I did note that that grommet was a little thicker than the others. Anyhoo, they charged me the additional $15 knowing I'd have to buy and install the full set again. They did nothing "wrong" but nor did they do anything close to provide any sort of reasonable service that would inspire me to go back. read more
