I handed them problems with a 1990s Dodge Caravan and Ford Taurus that should have ended with either of them towed to a scrap yard. Anyone else would have given up. Greg knew that my family was on a budget and we were not in a position to buy, so he was honest about what HAD to be done, what SHOULD be done, and how much it would cost just to keep us safe and legal. He made sure to keep our bill managable and explained problems to us in simple English. All the work was done promptly and correctly. The few times there were delays, someone was on the phone to me with updates. I originally drove to another nearby tire dealer, who was fortunately too busy to take me. I Googled and was lucky enough to find CJ's Tire & Auto a short distance away. I called and they said bring your carright over! They checked the tire immediately and advised that the location of the screw was such that if they removed it and the tire began to leak it couldn't be repaired, but would have to be replaced. They ordered the new tire and it was delivered to their shop the following day. I took my car over and dropped it off, fully expecting to be paying for the new tire plus labor. Was I surprised when I returned to learn there was no need to replace the tire since the screw was short enough that it hadn't caused damage to the interior of the tire! I'd noticed one of my fog light bulbs was burned out. My total bill for the day, between tire analysis and bulb replacement was around $40! Plus, I was impressed with the cleanliness of the shop and the professionalism of the CJ team. So glad the first shop I tried was too busy to help me!

I recently moved to the area and had my first car breakdown ever; accelerator stopped working. I had no idea how to get my car to a shop or what could be wrong -- I just needed to be able to commute to work hopefully soon. I tried two other shops before trying Bob's, one where I had to leave a message and they never got back to me, and another where they could only start working on my vehicle two days after it arrived. That wouldn't cut it. I was relieved to have Bob answer the phone, understand my urgency, and even have a tow truck available to pick up my car from my neighborhood lot. I was able to have my insurance arrange the delivery, though, and before the end of the day I had a diagnosis about a battery and alternator swap. The next day, the work was complete, and he offered to pick me up and bring me to his garage to fill out the paperwork. Sure enough, my car rolled up the next morning with Bob in the driver's seat. I'm so thankful to had had his open communication, professional attitude and willingness to go the extra mile for a 20-something with little vehicle expertise. It was always my thermostat which they gratefully replaced and honored the warranty too. But they dug in and did extra homework although my check engine light was NOT on and found KIA modified the thermostat with a restricter because they knew my current setup would throw the cold engine repair code. They are ordering the parts and getting me right back in to do the work asap. I cant say enough great things about these mechanics Have been a customer nearly 2 years and wint get anywhere else!​
