He also assisted in evaluating my two youngest children. Both of them have a rare genetic disorder that is causing them to lose their vision. He was kind and gentle with them. However, they gave me only a partial prescription and did not include the PD (pupillary distance measurement). This is required to have your glasses made. They would only tell me this if I purchased THEIR glasses (at an extreme price). This is outrageous and is a low-ball technique to rip off consumers. I should get the prescription I paid for and there is no legitimate reason for not providing this information, other than to rip off their customers. Since they are owned by John Hopkins (which is the reason I went to them), I did not expect these sort of sleazy, underhanded tactics which other low-class places resort to. Do yourself a favor and avoid them like the plague. Go to a reputable clinic or doctor for your exam. Then go to Zenni Optical, frames direct, or glasses dot com and order your glasses. I decided to try the office again in July, and paid for my exam and glasses at that time. At the end of January, we received a $25.00 bill with a threat of a $30.00 late payment in 10 days.
