I have called this place ample times for service and not once did I receive a call back. I would be driving by and the sign says open so I would call...right to voice mail. I have been going to the Weybridge garage since 2009. For most of that time the garage was owned and operated by Jim D'Avignon who is a wonderful man, who ran a great shop with fair pricing, honest assessments, and professionalism. Jim retired around 4 or 5 years ago now and the workmanship, honesty, and professionalism has significantly declined. I no longer consider the shop reliable after multiple bad experiences that included recommendations for unneeded work, missing parts from my car, and extremely rude behavior. Most of the reviews on here are older and reflect positive experiences with Jim. I would only recommend going here for a tire change, if there are no other options. read more

Decided to use Weybridge garge services because of a recommendation from a female friend whose has always had good experiences there for years. My experience has been that they are competent, respectful, and flexible. But most importantly, the problems you bring your vehicle in for are fixed when you leave. And the pricing seems to be very reasonable. I have never felt I am paying unreasonable or unexplainable prices. I would recommend using Weybridge garage. read more

I've been taking cars there for years with the same results, friendly service people who find the least expensive way to solve the problem. This time I paid for a new belt and an hours labor. I went in saying I thought it was the power steering pump. Less scrupulous mechanics would have simply replaced the pump knowing I would accept the higher cost. They are the type of mechanics to which the Click and Clack jokes do not apply. read more

Needing a bit of last-minute, urgent service and being from out of town, I was worried about taking my beloved Subie to a "strange" mechanic. I asked a local and they said this place was good - been around for generations and fair. I figured, if they stayed in business that long in a low-population area, they must be pretty good. I went for the minor service, but was worried because I didnt have an appointment. The gentleman was very friendly and saw me quickly. It didn't take long at all and the cost was very fair. I was quickly back on the road. I hope to never need service on my Subie again, but if I do and I'm in town, I'd bring it back here. (Note: they don't do alignments) read more

AVOID!! I had a very bad experience here back in the fall. I believe the employee who I dealt with was named Nathan. Whoever he was, he was very rude/belittling and unprofessional on the phone. When I got to the garage he tried to tell me the problem was a bad battery, and he charged me $225 for that. In "selling" the battery change he tried to tell me that the battery in the car was the original from 13 years earlier! I told him that I was very sure that was not the case, but he persisted, saying it was a Saab battery and thus must've been the original (or at least many years old). He took advantage of the fact that I wasn't sure myself as my parents had just let me take the car up to school. In fact the battery had been replaced just 1-2 years prior!! Obviously the battery was working fine--and the new one didn't help the problem at all! AVOID WEYBRIDGE GARAGE!! They'll tell you anything to get some $$ read more

I find the previous review so far from the Weybridge Garage that I know that I think the guy must have gone to County Tire!! My husband & I have been customers for 40 years and have always received courteous and friendly service. We also appreciate the fact that they do not try to sell you repairs you don't need. We have never had a problem with any of the work they have done and find their charges more than fair & reasonable. If you drive a foreign car this is the ONLY place to go. They have forgotten more about foreign cars than most mechanics know. All I can say about the previous review is that I have always found that to be treated in a respective manner requires that you also be respectful. So, go to Weybridge Garage without hesitation. A business doesn't stay in operation since 1948, through 3 generations, being a rude, overcharging, not fixing the problem!!! read more

After an initial recommendation, I've been taking my car to Weybridge Garage for a number of years now and they are great. The crew there is very polite, helpful, and knowledgeable. Whenever I take my car in, I am always surprised by how accommodating they are. It's an old school garage and I've found them to be upstanding, straight shooting mechanics. When my friend had a minor accident the day before a trip, they fixed a body panel for her the next morning on her way out, free of charge. I have had a similar experiences where I was mistaken about what needed to be done and they did the easy/inexpensive fix explaining later that the expensive repair I expected was not necessary.
