We got a flat tire and were told by those who helped us the night before this was the place to go. It was excellent advice. We were directed up to their new location in Addisson. We drove up and the customer service was excellent. Our tire was not able to be repaired. We were advised to get 4 new tires and we agreed the other 3 really needed to be replaced. The tires were brought up from the main location. We had coffee shared our story of a flat tire. We were all set to go the cost of the tires and customer service was home town. Simply the best tire store I have encountered. Honest, fast with great pricing. I needed new snow tires for a car that doesn't get driven a great deal. They suggested used Hakkapleiittas. The used tires were about a third of the price of a new set and I used them for four winters. My other vehicle is driven more than 60-thousand miles a year. Steve suggested a Firestone tire that was much quieter than the tires I had been using and they have lasted longer. These people know their tires! read more

And a lot of our friends and family feel the same. So I'm new to town and had to get an oil change. I've a volkswagon and have to get fully synthetic oil changes, so I was expecting something around $60. They topped off liquids without telling me or asking me and in total I spend $82 on an oil change. It took 45 minutes, which isn't horrifying, but slower than I usually experience. read more

I was in town with a very sick sophomore and her car - which would not start. AAA got us to County Tire and we were thrilled with the service. They diagnosed and fixed the problem on the same day. I made an appointment to get my car inspection here because I work so close. I made an appointment online and didn't get a call back for 2 days, they didn't know i had already called and mace an appointment. I had called the day after to make sure the appointment I made online was ok. It wasn't. I told them I would drop it off at 8:30, would be walking to work & would walk back at 5. It was raining in the morning, I told the lady at the front desk I was walking to work & would be bk at 5 to pick it up. Never was told there was a shuttle. I got a phone call saying my car didn't pass because the headlights needed to be cleaned and it would be an extra 70.00 on top of the 70.00 for the inspection fee. I told her I'd do it myself and bring it back. Then I received a call at 4:50 asking when I'd be there to pick it up. I explained again I was at work till 5 and needed a few minutes to walk over and pick it up. When I got there a guy told me I could have had a ride if they had known I was walking. I brought the car back after buffing the headlight covers & the car needed to have a complete reinspection. I was under the impression that they would just need to inspect the headlight covers, so I didn't plan on being there for long. I had to call my boss and explain. I get it if its the state law but they could have explained. Customer service was not to good, prices were not good. I will not be going back there for anything. read more

I have been bringing all my vehicles to County Tire for several years now. I have been extremely pleased with their flexibility in setting up an appointment to fit my schedule, and their professional, friendly, fairly priced and expertise service. They always take me into the shop and actually show and explain to me what is wrong with the vehicle and what needs to be done BEFORE they actually do it. I certainly can't say this about Bruno's in Castleton. It seems that everytime I use to go there for a inspection sticker and even a minor repair they always "find" something else wrong and I, believing them, got stuck with very expensive repair bills for stuff I probably didn't need in the first place. At County Tire, they always show you what is wrong, and give you options for repairing it or not repairing it at all. They are experts in recommending tires for all vehicles, and if you have a special tire in mind for say a sports car, they can get it at a good price as you can get on the Internet. Steve and the crew are a bunch of good, honest, friendly, hard working guys who you can trust for all your car repairs.
