The chief personnel Greg, Martha and Tom Terry are the backbone of the on-air personalities. Alexa Lorenzo are all great. Recent changes with Carl Willis, (wierd eyes and JJ Burton constantly moving) are troublesome. I have been in Titusville now for 6 years and find Chanel 9 the best overall news teams. i really don't need Wheels and Deals. And Clark Howard has decent information but his sign- off can be eliminated. read more

Hey Channel 9 - not everyone is happy with you pre-empting regular evening TV shows for football on 2 CBS CHANNELS.. Bring back Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune etc.. You have made a Stupid move! We are already forced to pay for Football ( sports) channels we don't watch. read more

Kirsten Delgado needs to go. Can't speak, constantly stumbling over words. Tries too hard to act caring and concerned but can tell it's obviously faked. Alexia and Cassie are great. But the real, under utilized anchor is Sam Mortello. That girl is great and needs to move into Kirsten's spot immediately. I also hate that after 9 am, it's a rerun of the news from 6:30 in the morning. There certainly is still news to be reported at 9am. It's ridiculous. read more

I was thoroughly disappointed by Tom Terry on tonight's 8/21, 10:30 pm weather report. With all the misinformation out there and the cuts this administration has done to undermine science and the existence of global warming, Mr. Terry has the gaul to refer to the Gulf of Mexico as the Gulf of America. Truly disappointed and expect more facts from a man whose job is rooted in science but chooses to cower to the uneducated and misinformed. read more

I was once a fan but after my experience this morning, I'll be switching local news stations. While watching The View, programming was interrupted for nearly 20 minutes to watch a deputy walk from a car to a helicopter. While I'm very happy he's okay, this could have waited for the News at Noon less than an hour away. The program was interrupted yesterday by Trump and now this today. Then I tried to call and/or email the station. There's no way to leave a comment. Most of the pages I was directed to are no longer available and after many attempts, it's obvious WFTV doesn't want to be contacted. Even the prompts were old talking about a problem with Youtube TV that was resolved months ago. So sad. I've watched ABC news national and local my entire life. I'll be switching after this experience. read more

Channel 9 has always been my favorite channel 9 because the news is given in clear and understandable reports. I enjoyed the recent Jones High School History that aired on 2/25/25, I was a graduate in 1964 from Jones High and the program brought back so many memories! I would like to know if the program that aired be shared so that former students could get a copy? Thanks so much for sharing that history because it is so very important. Carrie Johnson read more

Ch 9 should be taken off the air 100% this station has gone downhill fast in the past 2 yrs. they talk about useless crap that nobody cares about all the time. they tell people that the sun is out now, but it will rain later. HOLEY F_____G Crap!! how stupid are these people. And on Sundays they interview people nobody wants to listen to. my god! wake up!! just a really really bad news station. read more

Get rid of Kirsten Delgado!!!! She's awful. She constantly messes up - can't read off teleprompter and looks like she's miming every time she opens her mouth. read more

I watch mornings for weather and traffic and i get frustrated every minute. The weekly am anchors are the worse. Constant mispronounced words, studder and just frustrated listening to them. The weather report is half right and short and gets interrupted by a dunking donuts commercial right before. You are forcing me to watch Fox new. Change the anchors to someone who dont skip words and make constant errors. read more

how many f88888g times do these ah___s need to tell us what the weather is like outside.tell us at the start of the broadcast and shut up allready. holey crap you need to fill in that much time telling us the same weather crap 5 times in 30 min. and martha what can we say about her? other then she has a hard time putting sentances together now. read more

What is going on with this channel? It's awful! The time clock between news casts is ridiculous and comes on so friggin loud. It only has Clarke Howard and News Nothing else. I won't watch it anymore. read more

I love waking up in the morning to the news team, I think they are great. I have always watched channel 9 news and find them to be very professional. read more

I love the three women that are on in the morning. It's nice to wake up with them to miss Brian shields but I love Cassandra however, you have hired a new guy Burton. I don't know what club he walks out of before he gets on the station. The first time I've seen him on the air he looked like he had literally just left the club with a turtleneck sweater. Gold chain, gold bracelets too much. He can't look at the station without blinking. I think the light bothers him but anytime I have seen him his eyes are closed. Looks like he just walk out of a nightclub Not channel 9 material. read more

The new weather screen where they stand in the map is the most annoying! Our family can not watch the news on this channel anymore because of this new feature! It's dreadful!!!!!! read more

I don't know when Kirstin Delgados contract is up, but you should consider removing her from your newscast. Her mannerisms and speaking manner is so annoying. Not to mention her unprofessional appearance as she dresses way too casual. Come on you guys could do better! read more

I've had enough of these school shootings and threats. I'm sure a lot of others are too. Things are so bad our kids are afraid to go to school. Every time we have a shooting or threat our law officials always say something has to be done, but it cost too much money to stop these crimes. There are many ways to fix this problem, but it seems like money has more pull than kids and teachers lives. Millions of Dollars are spent every year to build sports complex and big buildings. Why can't we allocate just 1/2 % of lotto money and put it in a fund for school safety. We always hear of lotto money not claimed, so why can't we use that money to support our school safety. Money seems to be the root of all Evel. Even at our kids expense. Thank you for taking the time to read my input. Ronald L. Howard read more

Brian Shields was one more of the online personalities who "resigned" from the station. This has been an ongoing problem since Paul Briggs was the station's GM and VP of operations. The mandate he received from his "bosses" was to eliminate personnel who were highly paid (at least by TV standards) and replace them with lesser-paid personalities. Hence, the reason why they now have some somewhat questionable online presence. Think about it. They let go several good people like Brian and Jamie Holmes, Nancy Alvarez, Rust Mcraine (sp), George Waldenberger, Steve Barrett, Vanessa Echols (granted, she left for good reasons), Karla Ray, Ashley Edlund, Goerge Estevez, and the list goes on. Instead, we get the likes of Kirsten Delgado (drama queen- bearable if she could stick to reading off the teleprompter without mumbling and misreading her lines) and this new guy David Heckard (nice guy, BUT); the jury is still out. Part of the interview process would be checking to see if these online people can read off a teleprompter without stumbling and mumbling through a news item. And yet, here we are. Wait til they say goodbye to the news team at night. Greg and Martha are the following highly paid anchors who may be looking at their contracts. What this management team has done to decimate the staff of this ABC station's news team is going directly to not being the #1 news station in the market. read more

i absolutely love this channel every morning and also in the evening when I get home from work however, when the Steals and Deals cone on I change the channel or put on mute read more

I'm very disappointed WFTV Orlando continues to run the "Steals and Deals" segment in their local news programming. This is not NEWS....Steals and Deals is simply in-program paid advertising. Seriously?...are the commercial breaks not enough? Between cable and at least 3 other local stations to chose from for NEWS, why would one subject themselves to this dribble? read more

We have nothing but ZEROES for a station that is holding customers hostage over a price war for local channels. DISH customers have been shut out for months from any Ch 9 broadcasts. And with the college football season, NBA, and even NFL games being top viewer favorites, Ch 9 has the DISH customer bound and gagged in the trunk during their "Money is our god" stance. Now local Ch 2 WESH has joined up to be their partner in money-grubbing behavior. Thanks for nothing Channel 9, you have no ground upon which to stand, other than the huge pile of money. First time in a long time I turn on WFTV News since the other local news wasn't on yet. Within seconds I remembered why I hadn't watched WFTV News in a long time, they had a lady pitching a floor cleaning device. Click no more WFTV. What happened to news? If I had time to waste and wanted to see pitch stuff I don't need I go to Facebook. read more

one star for the morning show 430am. I call the two anchors stumbles and mumbles they are the worst anchors on in the morning slot. Don't know who's responsible for them but it has become unwatchable i've switched to wesh news in the AM. The only value left on the show is Brian Shields. Stumbles and Mumbles can't get through a story without messing up unbelievable that they want the public to accept this garbage read more

Kirsten Delgado needs to move on. Her hand gestures and facial expressions are ridiculous. She needs to leave and get someone on there with a personality. And, stop pointing and touching Brian. He's the only one worth keeping on that morning "news" cast. Although, Alexa isn't too bad. And, please get rid of those commercials with the newscasters talking amongst themselves. It's embarrassing. Come on WFTV you can do better. read more

Every since Kristen Delgado arrived to the station it seems like like there's tension with in the anchors. Example Alexa Lorenzo was a really smiling Person while doing the traffic now she is so serious just like Kristen Delgado is not anything close to when Nancy Alvarez was there and Jamie Holmes. We miss a family affair and friendly broadcast. Please talk to Kristen Delgado and get her to take down a few notches and relax smile and get everyone at ease read more

The morning news with Kirsten Delgado is enough to cause me to start seizing. She cannot complete an actual sentence. She wears a constant pain/grimace/constipated look on her face and her constant talking with her hands and pointing nonstop is almost the most annoying thing in the universe. It's a shame because Alexa and Brian Shields are great but Kirsten----nope. Gotta turn it off each time. read more

I really enjoy watching Channel 9 news but I believe that they must not have a sound tech. While watching WFTV online the news has a very low sound volume. In between news casts the sound will then blast very loud. It is at this point that I have to change the channel to a different news organization. Someone needs to pay attention to the quality of the broadcast. read more

I will no longer watch channel 9 Orlando constant commercials with reporters talking about how great they are. 4:30 news turned to another channel Kristin Delgado is the worst in the morning hand gestures drive me crazy she is horrible would rather watch Medicare commercials then tolerate your news team read more

I am really hoping that Karla and Q are the morning team from now on and the two ladies are told to leave and find other suitable work at some drive thru window at local fast food establishments. These two women are inept and totally unqualified for a news market the size of Orlando. Possibly Mayberry has a couple openings where they could at least train for newscasting. Karla is fun, factual and professional. Q has always been exceptional , factual, professional and more fun than he lets on. Both he and Karla have the "voice" for news. The "voice " you want to hear and the "voice" you look forward to starting your day with. The two you have on now, have ZERO real personality, and project no confidence at all. Karla and Q give you confidence in Channel 9's reporting and you can start your day knowing that you've had the best two ( Karla and Q) in your corner from 4:30 am and again at noon. Three cheers for Karla and Q!!!! Make these two PERMENANT! read more

News caster this evening, scraggly blond, didn't catch her name but she does not know the proper pronunciation of the word Orion, like the Orion constellation? No, she slaughtered the word! Please at least hire educated people that know how to properly pronounce their words! read more

We get it. There's a tornado warning. Don't take over the broadcast for over an hour. Overkill.

Just wanted to say THANK YOU to Channel 9 and specially to Shannon Buttler for covering the news at the rehabilitation center Avante Orlando. Due to her coverage on Thursday during the Hurricane Ian, I was able to see my mom being rescued. Thank you so much for all that you guys do. Channel 9 is the best! Watching since 1997! read more

Not a good news source... channel 9 is your typical left-wing biased reporting. If you want honest factual news, this is NOT the place to find it. Try channel FOX 35. Most people in Central Florida agree that 35 is the least biased of our local news channels. read more

A fair minded news station. Not fake news like Fox. Good and accurate nationwide reporting and they do damn good reporting on the weather and local current events. In my opinion they should do more on international issues and be more selective on crime happenings. Recommend! read more

The only reason you wouldn't care for WFTV news is because you are a hateful, spiteful, horribly bias person who is what is wrong with this nation right now. Channel 9 will never tell you where you can get Trump rally tickets. read more

I live near Turkey Lake Rd and Vineland, and there was work being done late at night (ONE AM... NO JOKES!!) and the entire block is shaking like a 5.3 earthquake. So, I called the TV station to ask if it is legal for some entity to work on a residential street that late at night. Their answer with total callousness... well, if it is happening then it should be legal !really!. This is just a corporate rubbish and not a local news station. I suggest they hire cheap labor in a remote part of the world and parrot the news to us. That way, the corporation will save boat-load of money, and the so-called-information will be conveyed to us. read more

Good morning can you please find out about the N95 mask because I called CVS and Walgreens and they say they haven't received them yet but they days was Thursday and Friday. Thank you dearly be blessed read more

Do you ever intend to correct your sports picture? For years you have been cutting out important game information by setting your broadcast picture too wide. That gets to be very annoying. read more

I am watching Channel 9 this morning. The female anchor is wearing a black dress with white trim. The dress is not inappropriate for a news anchor. The dress looks like something a stripper would wear. Some of large Woman reporters wear dress that are TO TIGHT!!! I do not want to stuffed sausages giving the news!!! I guess there is no dress code or professionalism in the new industry. read more

The channel is just fine, but honestly they have this news anchor Sugalski or something similar I believe her name is. WFTV seriously you guys have ni issues with her wardrobe.
