Amazing place in the center of town. So many shops and galleries to explore, a movie theater (we didn't have time) and working artists on the 3rd floor, but the view from the beach deck is the real treat. read more

There's a little something for everyone here. Great art, wearable art, nice artists. Plus, nice places to eat, a movie theater and access to some of the best views of the harbor. read more

The warm welcome you get from Peter and the staff here are just incredible, not to mention the amazing Luna who greets you lovingly when you enter. The selection is amazing, and in comparison to other stores by the beaches their t-shirt price (and soft and top notch quality) is preferred by me. I went to another store right by the beach and it's not even name brand but it was more expensive than the t-shirts here. This store may be a little cozier than other stores ( as I read other reviews here) but the ppl here make it easy to maneuver around and they are just so helpful. We bought some t-shirts, hat and the vacation bag I've always wanted- on tax free wknd- so I'm stoked! We will be back :)

Pretty much everything sold here is overpriced, but I always come in to look, but I don't tend to buy much. I did find the classic black dog t-shirts on clearance one time at another shop in Newport, RI in March. So perhaps the trick to getting deals here is to come in the off season. They sell items for the whole family from children's apparel to clothing for adults. One of the most popular items to buy here is the simple t-shirt with the store logo (a black lab) on the front. They also carry items like sweatshirts and other clothing items. Items like mugs, tumblers and more are also for sale. The store is pet friendly, which is nice since sooo many people are traveling with their dog up in Ptown. I have small dogs myself, so I absolutely adore the pet section. They have the CUTEST little pet hoodies, so if you love dog items and have an unlimited budget, this will be your spot! Check their website if they don't have the item you want in the store.

Such a wide variety of LGBTQ+ representation, and they even offer a discount for sapphics. Overall vibe was great, and we loved chatting with the very warm employee working that morning. They were beyond welcoming and really made our experience what it was. I got a magnet that said "Protect Trans Kids" and am excited to have it displayed at my desk at the office.

Bright colors, sharp designs, interesting angles, and a unique point of view, the art and clothing at Tim-Scapes, a shop on Commercial Street that has been around for over 10 years, presents a uniquely Provincetown brand. Convery's designs are already a ubiquitous fashion statement up and down Commercial Street, featuring angular lobsters or geometric lighthouses with a cyrillicesque "Ptown" written below. Bright, fresh, and creative, Tim-Scapes designs have melded the art colony history of Provincetown with a creative take on the tourist economy of Cape Cod...his goal was to re-invent the T-shirt...and he did..... The design aesthetic of Tim-Scapes began 20 years ago as a creative and memorable way to wrap presents for friends. Convery used duct tape, in a variety of colors, and would write his friends' names or a message on the package. Friends began to save the wrappings. An ex-partner was the one who finally suggested he take the design and the duct tape to the next level. After years in New York City in the advertising and marketing world, Convery was ready for a change...and this store certainly has given him that creative outlet. Not only you can get a t-shirt with the duct tape art of Ptown, but he sells many with the design related to other world cities....amazing. My husband and I got a nice sweatshirt...good quality, for $65. Lots of other items on sale a the store due to the season ending. Christopher, the gentleman manning the store was very helpful and friendly...we had an excellent shopping experience.

Tim came to my rescue to help me find a comparable replacement shirt (reversed black-and-white scheme but still the same design). I received the shirt within days and love it. Thanks, Tim!

There are a few hardware stores in the Provincetown area, but I think this is the largest. It is…read morealso located right on Commercial St, so it's easy to stop in before or after a meal or a shopping trip. Their private parking lot is large and convenient as well. Inside, you would fin anything you will find at any other ACE Hardware store, patio furniture, paint supplies, grills, screws, hammers, filters, etc. The guys I deal with while shopping were nice and knowledgeable.

We also saw a cool Radio Shack sign inside the store, right above the entrance for the area specializing in electronics and gadgets. This store has good customer service staff and a nice big parking lot (not very common in Provincetown).

I went to buy ceiling paint. They made several mistakes. Fisrt 5 gallon batch claimed to have been…read moremodified. It was not because when we went to buy more paint 1) they used the wrong base 2) third visit returned the wrong base paint - bought ceiling paint that they modified. Did not match the first paint as they had not modified it and labelled it incorrectly. Refused to take back paint when they said they would. Jacob the store manager has a bit of a complex. Left message for Jeff Rogers the owner. 1.5 weeks later he still has not returned phone call. Benjamin Moore regional rep is now involved in trying to resolve issue. ACE hardware in Eastham and Orleans are both very comptent and helpful. As consumers we do have a choice. Plan to use Eastham and Orleans stores. Go once and get all you need for the job correctly.

This store sells many nice things for the home that you can buy on the spot, but the store is also the base for people who want to get a professional to help decorate their homes Yates & Kennedy occupies about 500 square feet on Commercial St, and owner Mitch Yates has created areas throughout the shop that teem with personality. The shop, which has been around for over 10 years is chock-a-block full. Antelope horns lean against agate bookends, watermark pillows rest next to small oil paintings, and claw-foot candlesticks, magnifying glasses and a jewel-encrusted crown share table space. A variety of vintage wallpaper serves as backdrops to the diverse assortment. Yates has even created a space for a great assortment of espadrilles and hand screened T-shirts by his best friend, John Kennedy. The shop, like a room with character, is spirited and charming. When you visit, plan to spend some time there; you never know what you'll uncover.

I found a beautiful pillow that I feel in love with. I ended up leaving without purchasing it. Only to think a about the pillow all day. In the end deciding to return and make the pillow mine. I found the owner friendly and kind, yet a little soft spoken. He seemed to appreciate customers commenting on his beautiful items. Ultimately I was thrilled that I stepped foot in Yates & Kennedy and I will think of that store fondly each time I gaze upon my gorgeous pillow while at home. Even if you are not planning on purchasing you should stop in to Yates & Kennedy just to take in the beauty.
