Adam's artwork makes me laugh, makes me think, and reminds me of why this place has a special place in my heart. I had the privilege of asking Adam during my last visit to sign a linen bag. He graciously did, and it made an already memorable visit even more meaningful. I may have left fanboying a little. As a gay man, I have enormous respect for those who came before my generation--those who lived through Stonewall's legacy, the AIDS crisis, and continued creating spaces filled with hope, resistance, resilience, joy, and authenticity. Adam's work reflects that spirit. His messages celebrate queerness, courage, kindness, and the importance of being unapologetically yourself. If you're visiting Provincetown, don't just stop in to shop. Take your time. Look around. Read the messages. Support artists who have helped shape the soul of this remarkable town that rekindles hope, reignites the embers of resistance, inspires courage, celebrates queerness, and gives us the will to keep going. My husband and I got several dress shorts for 50% off....about $45 each. The styles are always fresh, colorful and fun. Every time we tried any of their shorts or shirts we loved the fit and the look. Very modern and very chic. The staff was very helpful and very friendly. The other viewpoint was the guy behind the counter, he had the longest face and he did not look welcoming nor friendly at all. That put me off with his attitude and demeanor. A $5.99 necklace was sold to them for $9.99. And the rings were priced at $5.99 and were sold to them for $8.00. We brought up the errors to the register attendant who got another employee and it seemed like they would refund the difference. But they told us after a little they needed the manager who said she would refund it all and not sell them for the price marked on the item!!!
