There are numerous shops like these, all up & down Kings Hwy/17; from Little River to Pawleys Island. We stopped in, with friends, to stretch our legs; and explore the beach items/souvenirs/misc.at this location. The facility is reasonably well-maintained; though alot of shelves were only partially stocked. Overall, this was neither the best or worst of this type of operation, along the Grand Strand. read more

This is a fun shop to explore and browse! The upper level is full of eye-catching decor beach and ocean themed. We were staying in Surfside Beach, and sadly there was NO apparel or souvenirs with Surfside on them! Everything was Myrtle Beach. If you're staying local, and want to take home a sweatshirt or mug with Surfside, you won't find it here. It was disappointing. Also, prices were pretty high comparably with other local shops. There are hundreds of gifts shops here in MB. 1st and last time at this one. Save your time and money for others. Place was disheveled and dirty. Lots of broken and obvious stolen items. Clothes all over the floor. I asked to use a rest room and was told no public restroom? (I think that's a health code violation to not have one available) I gave broken mementoes to the cashier and she looked at me with disgust. Not friendly, not clean and overpriced. read more

Despite other Yelpers reviews, I love this shop. I have to say though, that I have not purchased any clothing here. This is my go to store for when I need something beachy decorative for our condo in Garden City. It's also a great place to buy souvenirs. I have always found the sales people to be very helpful. Recently I purchased the Route 66 salt and pepper shakers for me. (we have an exhibit about Route 66 at our local History Museum in St. Louis.). Would I come back here? I'm a local and nicely asked if they gave a local discount as I was given on prior visits and was told by an employee from that store to always ask for a local discount to any of the beach shops, that's how I found out about this and the lady working on Thursday July 11 in the morning after I asked her she rudely asked me when I shop at Walmart do I ask them also for a discount? Everything in this shop is so ridiculously close together and stacked so high that navigating the store is nauseating. When I walked in there were nearly ten people waiting at the counter with nobody there to check them out. I walked around to find a worker to ask if they had a restroom and the worker said she would get me a key and then ignored me and started checking other people out. I was clearly in desperate need of a bathroom and she was taking her time and pretending I didn't exist. read more

This was our first trip to Myrtle Beach but these shops are pretty much the Ocean City MD equivalent Sunsations chain. Big signs advertising awesome deals, cheap prices and buy 1 get one free but very hard to find these so called deals in the store. They do have a large selection if you're in the market for souvenirs but seemed a little pricey to me and getting thru the aisles takes a bit of skill (very tight quarters). read more

Total bait and switch. Outside signs all these lows prices and big sales and there is nothing like they claim in there. Still decided t buy one shirt while I was there as a souvenir. These are really cheaply made shirts and expensive. I normally buy a 2XL because I like my shirts really loose. I tried on a 4X and it was tight. Went into this store apparently very close to closing time. There's no open/close time on the door so we went in expecting to be able to browse. As soon as we stepped in we were told "we close in 7 minutes." That's fine but it was the tone. I would give this a zero star rating if possible. Bought a swim suit here, spent way too much on it! Went to return or possibly exchange it and was told to walk over to the other side of store to speak with manager or owner(?) The employees should know the return policy and notify guests if something can't be returned at checkout. I shouldn't have to track down the manager to ask her. The lady in the green shirt was one of the RUDEST women I have ever run into. Was told that I could not return the unworn suit. Ok, fine, asked if I could exchange for something else in the store and was rudely told NO! I was willing to spend that money in the store on other items but the fact that I was just told a hard NO IS RIDICULOUS! I liked the selection of shirts they had but purchased nothing. A woman who works there with glasses is the rudest woman I have met in my life. First she put her hands on my mother in law telling her to back up from the hermit crabs. Didn't even ask her nicely to do so. This is one of the worst stores. "You must present coupon prior to cashing out the purchase" is such a bullshit reason when I paid with cash and then realized that I had the coupon sitting in my purse. The ladies that checked us out were unreasonable and ridiculous. I recommend spending you're money somewhere else where they actually care about the tourists. read more

I enjoyed shopping here. Our home decor is all beach themed and we can't get much in KY so I felt like I hit the jackpot here! I came out with arms full of itemS! The have pictures, kitchen items, jewelry, gifts, frames, and all kinds of other decor for the home! Great place for trinkets to bring someone back a little gift! They also have another location closer to MB but that store is a lot smaller so the selection is not as good as this store. Have fun shopping!! read more

The clerk (older lady with grayish hair) was less then hospitable. We asked about a specific shirt and was told that it was 50% of the lower price. When we checked out that was not the case. Since we had spent over 30 minutes picking specific colors and sizes, we went ahead and paid the price. When we checked out we even mentioned it to said clerk who we had spoken to and she said yeah, but would not honor the price she had said. Totally Ridiculous, seeing as there were mulptiple signs through out the store stating 50% off long sleeves. DO NOT SHOP AT WHALES! read more
