Service is impeccable. Lots of high quality and luxurious items. I love the spacious floors and beautiful displays. The inventory is amazing and unique. The products are great and I am happy with their unique designs and style. The clothes are very well made and will keep their shape for a long time. I love eating at the Rotunda.

This Neiman Marcus was beautiful! It's been a while since I last visited a Neiman Marcus, as the ones that were near me all closed down in recent years. They've got multiple floors here, and I mostly spent the most time browsing on the floor of their shoes. The sales associates here are so kind! I was interested in getting a pair of cute loafers but didn't end up going home with any. The sales associate that helped me had great recs, was attentive, and quick to grabbing sizes. Would come back to this location again!

How my YSL Loulou arrived, no box or dust bag, just wrapped in plastic and thrown in a box
    Shin P.

I'm extremely disappointed with my recent online order from Neiman Marcus. I purchased a YSL Saint Laurent "Loulou" purse and was so excited when it arrived -- only to open the package and find the bag wrapped in a clear plastic bag with no YSL box and no dust bag. For a luxury purchase at this price point, that was already concerning. Upon closer inspection, I noticed a scratch on the leather and debris inside the purse. It genuinely appeared to be used. Completely unacceptable for a brand-new designer handbag. I ended up going to the physical store at Stanford Shopping Center to return it and reorder a replacement. Thankfully the in-store experience was smoother, but I would not order luxury items online from Neiman Marcus again. When you're spending that kind of money, you expect pristine condition and proper packaging -- not something that feels previously handled and reshipped.

Interior holiday decor at NM. Beautiful.

Upon entering NM, the store's beautiful holiday decor is an eye catcher, as juxtaposed with the building's French inspired detail, reminiscent of the Sun King's aesthetics. I was just going to come in and gawk at the Brunello Cuccinelli area when a gorgeous classic lady named Romina approached me. She was so encouraging without the push; in fact she had an aura which encourages you to try on and feel good about the clothes and accessories. Romina is perhaps the reason why my visit to NM is a pleasurable and memorable one. When I do come back from La Jolla to NM SF in the future, I shall look for her. Romina knows human connection and rapport - something many sales people lack nowadays. Thank you Romina for your lovely personality and help. I ended up getting a beautiful silk/cashmere scarf from Brunello Cuccinelli. I wanted to make the experience memorable and special. -A r d e e

One employee helped me with a falling box of crackers. Another employee helped locate an unmarked aisle and unlock the display case to obtain the earbuds. Both employees were friendly with a welcoming exchange - I greatly appreciated the service received. I was able to check out my tech and crackers in electronics without hassle and immediate service. I walked in five minutes before closing to find a jacket and while walking in the store a man walks by and without making eye contacts tells me in a rude tone, we are closed! I then tried to get his attention to ask where I could find jackets; he tried to ignore me and I insisted and said "excuse me, I have a question"; I was trying to get his attention so I could catch his name. His name was Fernando. He quickly said where to find jackets in (of course) a rude tone. I ended up not buying anything because I didn't want to shop at an establishment that was so awful. I left the store with three minutes left until closing. The fact that this man was so rude and even dared tell me they were closed as I was just walking quickly to grab a jacket was unwelcoming and just rude. I was taking my time; I was walking fast because I was mindful of the workers there and the amount of customers still in the store. I was on a two day work trip and didn't bring a thick jacket and San Francisco had a very cold day (locals were telling me it was colder than usual) and I only had five minutes to find a jacket. It's ironic, that there were drug addict men in the store but of course they were not told it was closed; here I am dressed up in formal work clothes and I am approached by that Fernando guy essentially telling me to leave. This can't be solved by training but supervising employees better; this man seems to be free to act this way without repercussions.

The majority of SF residents blame the city officials for letting criminals and homelessness go free, which made most retail stores shut down due to robberies. Less than 28 stores remained in business. The best part is that the public restrooms are still open, and there's access to BART/MUNI near the GNC Store. One of my favorite things about Union square is the art. The giant hearts are iconic in San Francisco and they're always being repainted and reimagined by different artists. So no matter how many times you come here, you will always see something new. I've seen so many versions over the years but I still stop to look at them every time I'm here because there is always something new to. The hearts the statues, the occasional pop-up installations or performances, the square always feels peaceful but alive. There is also always something going on. On my last visit here there were ping pong tables set up everywhere with people playing. I saw juggling classes being offered and arts programs for kids with people gathered around having a good time. There was a reading area and books brought in on carts.
