Inside it's a warren of different rooms -- where you could easily get lost. Lots and lots of clothes -- especially women's. In most cases sorted by type, but not sorted by size. Bric a brac, housewares; electronics; china and glassware, office supplies, books, children books, toys, hats/scarves/bathing suits; golf and sports equipment; paintings; and a separate boutique of higher end stuff. One room has china and bric a brac and toys. It is not neat. The toys were all spilled over the floor and hard to navigate past. The thrift store is located on the campus of Faith Church across from the sanctuary near the flag pole. The store is staffed entirely by friendly volunteers who donate their time. Hours are Wednesday through Saturday 10 to 4. Proceeds from donations are used to fund local and global missions. Blessings and Bargains has several rooms filled with household goods, children's toys, men's, women's, and children's clothing, accessories, small appliances, glassware, collectibles, linens, books, puzzles, and art. They even had some vintage pieces. Some of the sales they had going on included fill a bag with clothes for $5 and 50 percent off coffee makers and previous holiday items. Some of the clothes were even brand new with the tags attached. Everything was well organized and inexpensively priced. Blessings and Bargains is a great resource if you need budget friendly clothing, children's items, or are starting a new household. It is also a fun place to explore if you enjoy thrifting as I do. Everything in this small store is marked and neatly displayed. There's room between most of the items. Price wise it's not bad with some items reasonable and others on the side of a higher priced goodwill -- but better quality. All items seem clean and in good shape. According to their Facebook page they have been in business since 2013. They are estate buyers so their merchandise is always changing depending on what they are purchasing . I have tried estate sales before but it feels like trespassing, going through someone's house that you know just died and picking through their stuff as their photos stare at you from the walls. Of course not everyone has died. Some people just want to sell a household of stuff in bulk before a move. In any case I'd much rather purchase estate items which are usually of a nicer quality than thrift, at a clean store like this. Also you are not having to drive around to multiple addresses. Everything I saw was in great condition. They had furniture, collectibles, mattresses, house hold goods, and even some clothes. If it makes up items in someone's household, they sell it. A wooden T.V.console was only $25. They had some nice knick knack shelves and I am currently studying my walls to see if they will accommodate them.I wanted to know if prices were firm or negotiable but the man who was working was chatting to someone else and I didn't want to interrupt. Although they didn't have a huge amount of items, what they do have warrants a look if you are in the area.

On Northwood Road there is a hub of fantastic places to eat and artistic places to shop. Free street parking is available and there is an overflow parking lot at the end of the street. Owned by Tim and his wife Inge, their store is like walking into Etsy. Actually they do have an Etsy shop. Their wares are composed of vintage home goods, furniture, accessories, jewelry, and hand made upcycled treasures like little glass planters you can hang and license plate art. They like to reuse what they can and turn it into something interesting rather than add to the landfill. During my visit Stone Button was participating in a Bahama relief drive as were the other shops in Northwood. They created really cute license plate art from cut up plates that read Bahamas. Outside is their salvage yard with over sized letters. This is the perfect shop to find that one of a kind gift. I left with a small china box that matches my grandmother's china. At only $10 I was pleased to find it. If you adore the vintage vibe like I do you will want to pay a visit to this charming shop.
