I'd been meaning to come here for a while after reading a review in a local paper a while back. I'm so glad we finally made it here as we were in the neighborhood. The shop sits on the west side of Federal Highway. Parking is a bit of a challenge especially when any nearby lots are full. We drove around the block and found a makeshift spot along a side street and walked over. You have to ring the bell to be buzzed inside. And once inside, there's so much stuff that even a few folks will make the place seem crowded. But everything displayed is so unique and interesting and eye catching that you'll hardly know where to look first. If you're of a certain age, the "vintage" clothing will look a bit familiar like things you used to actually wear years ago. But most things have a little something extra, too. Some clothing has stenciled skulls; or extra embellishments; or lace, or fringe, etc. All sorts of clothing. Accessories and purses are different -- like the one that was hamburger shaped. There are a number of "cool" tee-shirts. And strange things from a bucket of dolls heads to candles and voodoo items. The jewelry alone will keep you busy looking at all the appealing choices. There are lots of things here that would make a good gift for someone who's a bit original and off beat. Or a good gift to treat yourself. I'm sure we will return when nearby. read more

This store you need to get buzzed in and out. Parking is available in the back but we opted to park across the street. Some real characters walking around in these streets. This store is super cute though and even has a friendly kitty who walks around inside. Definitely decorated with flashy old school, vintage, punkrock style...true vibes I left with a pair of spider earrings that were handmade and I just couldn't resist. Definite cool store to find some eclectic pieces. read more

A hidden gem with eras worth of stories through the relics you can find. Between music and clothes there's just something so beautiful in what you can find in just browsing through. I'm reminded of my phases of tastes and even had times where I could literally feel what reminded me of how I remember my grandparents. Saw shoes that made me think of dancing and even found those cool Rollerblade onesies that snatched girls as they twirled with their bouncy beautiful hair. The store cat is a fun reminder of slowing down and taking it all in. The owner has collected many unique finds and has vendor sections. I've been wanting to come in since I saw it and brought myself in. The parking is around the back, go around the corner and slowly pull in the one way- they have a limited amount here but side street is available too. All sales final, very west coast Oregon aesthetic and I LOVED IT! It was a cool thing to finally experience, I'm happy I came . If you are a goth/horror lover or you are just plain cool. you are going to love the eclectic mix of clothes, accessories, and home decor from Trashe Vintage on Dixie Highway in Lake Worth. Consider this the thrift store for the Hot Topic alternative lover. The experience starts when you get out of the car. Parking is in a concealed lot in the back. If you look closely in the bushes you can see skeletons keeping watch. The store happens to be next door to a business that makes gravestones. In the Trashe Vintage alley is a hearse guarded by a giant skeleton. Once you enter store (ring the bell), you feel transported to your favorite goth girls closet. Everything is clearly marked with details about fabric, year, and price. They had some great vintage T-shirts like the Def Leppard one from a concert tour I attended priced at $125. Now I am trying to hunt down my old concert T's which are now cool again. Some items were handmade like a bag made out of vintage neckties or a crochet voodoo doll. I had fun time digging through their $5 bin. Rusty the cat came over and became my personal shopper as he let me know which items he approved of by pouncing on them. In addition to being a great place to shop they will also buy your vintage clothing and accessories. Heidi, the owner is always friendly and awesome and really dedicated to finding true gems across the country on her foraging trips for merch. I have found plenty of super awesome things from roller skates to a kick ass Boy Scout shirt, and even a tin of skull band-aids. I also appreciate her clever and fun merchandising techniques. I would give this place a million stars if I could. From the second we walked in, I knew we made a good choice. The vibe/smell of the shop is AMAZING! The vibes are so high here. This was the third thrift shop I gave a go at after not having the best luck at the previous two. I was not expecting much, so I was blown away by how amazing the quality of the clothes are here. They have their own custom made pieces along with additional thrift finds. The worker was super nice and communicative about deals $$$ I will definitely be coming back because the clothes were SICK!!!! read more

There are DEEMONS here... I like it though One time when i came in something fell from the ceiling on my head, i've had a bump ever since. I've also considered taking one of the skeleton heads but realized that would be stealing. I shop here for all of my goods despite the fact it is paranormal and there are DEEEEMONSS in here. Love it. Awesome vintage shop. Brings back so many memories from my youth! They have an awesome selection of vintage and hand made clothing, shoes, hats and accessories as well as records and even some home decor. There's punk/metal and some 70s and 80s thrown in to satisfy your inner Anarchistic Punk Rocker. For your softer side be sure to pet the hardcore shop kitty named Rusty, who sports a spiked collar (I imagine in his protest of authority) .... you can find him lounging in the baby carriage in the front window. read more

If you are looking for a thrift store this is not it. This is a vintage store and is priced accordingly. They had an awesome selection of 80s leather jackets. I just wish they had some larger sizes. Walked by this place and saw there was a sidewalk sale! Everything outside was $6! What a great deal! After finding my treasures, I took a look inside and it's so cool. It gives me Brooklyn thrift store vibes and some furniture or vintage items has the owners comments on them and it's sooo funny!! Anyways the clothes are super cute and will give the decade style and price. Very fair prices and they also have men's clothing as well! I walk in at 1pm and it had been raining and I asked to use the restroom. I was told it was out of order and that's no problem I went to the store next door. Upon returning I was not greeted. The supervisor was organizing the store and I overheard the conversation. "I didn't want you to get raped." Is what I heard the supervisor reply to the cashier. I turned to look at them out of shock. The cashier disagreed and the supervisor of the store replied " it's lake worth honey." Not only did I feel uncomfortable but I immediately put the items I had in my arms back on the rack. This was my first time in lake worth and I have had a loved one who is a victim of rape. To joke or even allude to that while you are in your place of work is insulting and unprofessional.
