I really wanted to give this little place the benefit of the doubt. Based on previous Yelp reviews I noticed how popular it was with the locals. I ordered the spring rolls and the salmon with fried rice. The spring rolls were loosely rolled but good. But, the salmon and friend rice were to the point where I didn't even want to finish my food. I was actually surprised. We didn't know what to expect. The first few times we tried to place an order they never answered the PHOne (get it?). My wife finally drove up there and placed an order one night for sesame chicken. As far as sesame chicken goes in San Angelo, I definitely recommend it. Another time a friend picked up food and grabbed himself some pho. He seems to really enjoy this place and as I've never actually had pho I'll have to accept his opinion. read more

What a gem! I have been to Vietnam and think the food here is better than anything I ate there. Our waiter Paul was on point and took our banh mi to the next level as we took his recommendation to add an egg. The chicken pho is also incredible. Always good food and friendly service BUT they have been out of bean sprouts on several occasions. It would be nice to at least advise customers that you're out so they can order something else or still get the pho without the sprouts. This quality of food and service has really gone down as this place has gained popularity. Tonight we waited over 30 min for a table - which is not terrible. But, 6 tables were empty and covered in dishes and trash and the wait staff just kept ignoring both the dirty tables and the large crowd of people waiting to eat. The wait staff was much less friendly and sincere. I don't know whats happened to this little hole in the wall - maybe a change in management? I'd skip this place if you're looking for pho, there's another one across town I think called Ban Moon or something that I'll try next time. read more

This was one of my worst experiences ever. They were beyond ridiculously slow. I know the broth for pho is already pre-made but it still took 40 minutes to get a to go order. After being told a few times it was almost ready, apparently the kitchen never even made my order. After I asked what was going on, magically it was ready in about two minutes. This was my first time here. The staff are friendly and the pho is great. I got here a little early for lunch thank goodness because they got slammed. The only negative I would say is it seemed a little disorganized. Like the wait staff were running around crazy instead of having assigned stations and because of this I observed a few people getting passed over. The texture was good the flavor was also good. I have had some with carrots and I like that little crunch. Next came the beef ball Pho, the broth was great, the beef balls were just enough for the whole bowl. The part I liked the most was the noodles held the flavor of the broth, all the vegetable were fresh and full of flavor. If your in San Angelo or within 200 miles were the next closest Pho place is according to yelp. What the Pho you should just stop in. I predict you will enjoy your experience. Visiting with my family we arrived at 8: 02pm. the young lady manager as we walked in was in the very back Booth of the restaurant on her phone, the restaurant was about 3/4 of the way full with about three open booths. The lady in the back says "we are closed we close at 9:00 p.m." I looked at my watch and said "but it's only 8:02?" Mind you this whole conversation happened as there were people in the restaurant and the young lady was yelling at me and my family from across the restaurant where everybody could hear without even giving us the courtesy to come up to us and speak with us.
