WOW, this is the worst experience I have ever had at a Whataburger and at 60 years old--I've had Whataburger since I was 3 years old. The young man at the drive-thru has no clue how to count change. After 3-4 minutes of time that pasted I had to ask, "are you still counting my change?". He said I have to get you coins because I have no one's (thought, call management for assistance). I said, "I will give you a $1 then you can just give me the chance and $15." The transaction total was $5.66 and started with me giving him a $20. Still struggling I said "I can give you the .06 so you can give me $15.40 in change." He eventually used his phone as a calculator. I processed to the next window where you can see through to the dining room. There must have been at least seven different employees I saw but, I was there another bunch of minutes when the girl at the drive-thru that was filling cups of drinks asked if I was waiting for an order (of course not I just pulled up to view the employees walking around in circles). I said "yes, I am waiting for my order." Crazy unacceptable experience. And my order was missing the gravy. I said screw it--that place has bigger issues. LaTray is a terrible employee. I was perfectly respectful to the young man, and he was being immature. I understand people have off days, which is understandable, but he ruined the day of me and my daughter. Not only did he have a rude and stand offish attitude towards us but he also laughed at us when we told him that we had not received our drinks yet. I visit this location very often and never had an issue until this particular time. He was rude and inconsiderate, and we only came for a couple items. Again, I understand people have bad days but I don't believe in taking negative emotions to work. Hopefully he gets his emotions in check so no one else has to fall victim to disrespect. 1 star only because I can't put less. Other than that the food was good. read more

As a native Texan, I'm obligated to extol the legendary Whataburger. I've got my eye on you In-N-Out so watch yourself! I have no issues with this location in particular. The staff are friendly enough. I've never had any issues with my order. I highly recommend the jalapeno and cheese whataburger. It really brings the heat as well as flavor. Make sure you grab some fries while you're at it but don't forget their amazing ketchup. I'm a big fan of their onion rings as well. I wash all of that down with some a true southern staple - sweet tea. Their seasonal banana pudding shake is nothing short of amazing but you can't go wrong with their vanilla when not in season. Ok, this review is making me hungry and so I'm off to enjoy some Whataburger. Check one out near you! read more

Walked in to see a line of people waiting on food. Waited for a while for the counter to be available then the girl working the register (only 1) told us there would be a 30 minute wait on orders. At Whataburger. 30 minutes. Obviously this must be a staffing issue. And that falls squarely on the shoulders of management. We went across the street to Wendy's and got our food in about 3 minutes. I took a road trip to Texas and this particular location was just off the highway on my way to San Antonio but before Houston I believe. Food was good. Service was great. The restaurant was clean. Ordered me and my wife a meal here (for to go) and it was 5:49pm and we leave there at 6:23pm (over 30 damn minutes. The lady up front wasn't friendly at all, the place was dirty , and there was no damn apology because of this BS. OUR FOOD IS BURNED AND THE FRIES HAD WAAAYYY TOO MUCH DAMN SALT. If I wanted piss poor ass service I'd go to McDonald's. Hell; actually McDonald's service is better than this place. We have 2 kids at home and one of them being special needs disabled (we don't have all damn day to way for your unmotivated asses). The food is good most of the time, more often than not. My biggest complaint, however, is that this is one of the SLOWEST "fast" food places I have ever been to. Last night my partner and I ordered two honey butter chicken biscuits with one order of small fries. No drink, just the biscuits and the one small fry. If you want to a get a random meal just order using the app from this place. I order using this to cut some of the slowness down, but so far they have NEVER gotten an order right yet. I contacted customer service since I paid extra for some options that are never added, they had me wait three days and NEVER contacted me. So far I think they have taken me for over 5.00 dollars in upgrades that have never been delivered. I could check when I get the meal, but I am usually so tired of the wait that I just take my chances. They just need much more oversite on meeting the orders, each time the receipt showed the order was placed in they system correctly. read more

My son requested Whataburger for breakfast this morning as he really some taquitos. We decided to go to the drive-thru line since I didn't put a bra on. We were just going for food & straight back home to get ready for our day. While the line was full, there was only one car I had to wait on before it was my turn to order. The line went pretty quickly until the lady in front of me made it to the window. Her order wasn't ready, so they asked her to pull around the front to wait. I got to the window & paid and was asked to pull around also. We ordered 2 sausage taquitos, 4 hash-browns, ranch, & ketchup. That's all! I done as I was asked and pulled around to wait. We sat there waiting for about 10 minutes. The lady in front of me was getting impatient because the lady behind both of us also had to pull around but was already getting her order. 10 minutes later, her food finally arrived. Now it's just my 14 yr old son & I waiting. We wait, and we wait until finally I decided to go inside, with no friggin bra on, to see what the hold up was. We had been there a total of 40 minutes. I get to the counter, where there are no customers and the inside was empty except for 3 people, & asked the guy at the counter if he could check on my order. He says "no, I haven't clocked in yet." So as patiently as I could, I asked him to give my receipt to someone who was clocked in to help me. The manager heard what was going on, took my receipt. Turns out that they hadn't even started my order in the 40 minutes I had been waiting! She told someone in back to give her the taquitos. I had to speak up and mention the hash browns, ranch, and ketchup or I would not have gotten them. She said ok and brought me my food, all in less than 5 minutes. The food order was right, but she gave picante sauce instead of ranch & ketchup. After that was corrected, I said thank you and went back to my vehicle. The food was really good, but the wait time was ridiculous. I understand things happen, but this isn't the first time my family has had problems getting their food in a timely manner or with their order being messed up. I am grateful the manager was there to step up or I'd probably still be waiting for my food. I recommend eating here only if you are not in any hurry. read more

This location used to be the best in the area. Now they are terrible. Be prepared to wait 20-30 minutes for your order, but when you ask them about it, it magically appears. They have no sense of urgency and everyone moves at a snails pace. Decided to treat myself to a cheat day meal at whataburger, which I was really looking forward to. Waited in the drive-thru line for about 20 minutes which I kept telling myself was understandable because their burgers are "made to order." When I finally got up to the window and got my food, I opened up my burger and took a bite. It was cold, bread was stale, and my order was wrong. This was honestly the driest, nastiest burger I've ever had. I couldn't even eat half of it. Came home (about 2 miles down the road) and gave it to my dogs with the intention of eating my fries. Half of them were cold and stale, the other half were lukewarm. Not sure what's going on at this location, but I'd steer clear. read more
