First time eating at this place and the burger was very delicious and flavorful. The fries were not that great at all they gave me a bunch of little pieces or maybe they're served that way . Other than not liking the fries it's a good place for burgers. I'll definitely give it another shot for sure and try other menu items. When I arrived, the person taking the orders was chatting with what seemed to be a friend or someone inquiring about a job. Finally, what seemed to be a cook told her to take my order. I ordered a cheese burger and received it about a minute later. The burger seemed to have been cooked about an hour prior, and some cheese and toppings were thrown on it. There were at least 4 people working there that I could remember. I believe there might have been five people working. The fact that I received a burger that was definitely not freshly made was disappointing. I regretted not going somewhere else. A fast food burger honestly would of been better. read more

My son and I decided to give it a try again. The burger was okay. The fries were crispy like we like them, but some were almost burnt. This owner decided to reinstate hot dogs with chili and cheese. Well, I make better hot dogs at home. Kudos to the only restaurant in town that actually follows the recipe for Dr. Pepper in a soda machine. Some burger used to be a staple in Baytown, but the lack of consistency and quality has skyrocketed in the past 6 years. I assume it's contributed to all the young workers that don't care. I stopped here on a whim. I've always heard of Someburger. Just never visited. Boy, do I wish I had before. I got the regular Someburger and fries. My wife got the Someburger and onion rings. The food was hot and fresh. I wanted tots, but they did not serve them. The service was excellent. The guy who took our order was very helpful as this was our first time eating there. His name was Kaleb. We sat in a booth it was a tad snug but no complaints. They have plenty of seating inside and outside. If you want a good classic burger, you should definitely try this place. The burgers are good. They are classic homemade burgers. Nothing spectacular or seasoned out of the ordinary, just good fresh burgers. I will always return because my kids like them. I do deal with little annoying things though. For instance, after I paid $35 for 2 burgers and drinks, I asked for a side of mayo (kid likes it with fries) and the owner RUDELY says "I normally charge 50 cents...remember". I said thank you and moved on. I would have happily paid. 50 if she said "that'll be .50 cents". She's always kind of arrogant and crummy but maybe it's because she's busy and it's hot in there. Been going here since I was old enough to chew and swallow hamburger patties! It's been a wild ride, with changes in ownership, management, staffing, etc as is the normal in this industry. What has come rising out of these change is one of the area's (and I mean in 25 miles any direction) is one of stability, uniformity, unwavering standards, staff engagement, and above all consistently solid products. You cannot go wrong with any choice you make. (I would however order burgers/hotdogs/fish sandwich (even though not made on-site,it tastes better than the competition, and I do mean ALL of the conpe) and fries (OR AMAZING HAND BATTERED ONION RINGS) over the chicken fried steak sandwich, as it's not hand breaded in-house. But as a chef, that's just my preference. The whole of the inside of the hamburger joint is a time machine,and it makes me very happy that they haven't changed much, and added some interesting pieces for the complete ambiance of "old fashioned burger joint".. I won't and will NEVER turn down an opportunity to dine there, inside or out, or take it togo, rule of thumb is that food such as this doesn't carry well to the house from the store. This does! Just make sure that you don't fully close the dry bag so they do not get too soggy on the trip home. For an added benefit, try heating your oven to 350° and a cookie sheet with foil and "reheat" your fries, they will instantly come back to life in 3 minutes. Got a text saying my order for someburger in Baytown was ready. Never eaten here although I used to live in Baytown I don't anymore I now live 8hrs away. I called to make sure no random person is using my cell number and when I asked for the girl to check which I'm pretty sure the girl that answered did not check but I asked if she could see if anyone used my number because she rudely said no and hung up pretty quick..... Update: called back and spoke with a manager who was able to find out if someone else was actually using my number for an order and that I wasn't getting scammed. Yes someone did use my number to order food. The manager that I spoke with was extremely nice about the situation and very helpful. What happened to this place. Food is still good but the service is to relaxed. Easy to park, not an overwhelming menu, but PLENTY of options- all of which are tasty. I ordered a grilled cheese, fries, and a chocolate malt. I frigging love their fries bc they're home fries!! Soft, but not limp, with the right crisp! Grilled cheese was perfect, and to my surprise they added two baby onion rings with it! Bonus for those of us who are torn between getting onion rings or their home fries, as they give just the right amount to get the taste, heheh. This was my first time trying a malt, too; best experience of my life. Please get the chocolate one. PLEASE! My mom got the Someburger with cheese and bacon, and she got a side of onion rings. I called this restaurant to place a to go order during the United States pandemic and the gentlemen Greg was more than pleasant. it was my first time ordering by phone and he was willing to assist and made sure I knew they were open all the way through posted hours still. he had excellent customer service which is hard to find. the burger was excellent as well as the cheesecake dessert. There are too many businesses offering the same fare for comparable prices that would automatically make a new item as ordered than give the items to the customer so they can DIY it.
