Beware horrible customer service!!! Today I went for lunch thru the drive thru. I got the worst service!! First I ordered a #2 and realized pulling away it was a #1. Went back through the drive thru and got treated horribly!! Asked if they could correct my burger. Then they asked me to pull forward. The girl at the window was very rude and went away and laughed cause I wouldn't pull up. I didn't get my burger correct so I waited there. Then the manager asked me very rudely to move. I said no just give me my money back!! Beware this was not the first time I was treated this way!! They have the most horrible customer service I've ever seen. Karma is real. We eat here quite a bit. Whataburger is our go to fast food place. This Whataburger we have not had any issues other than barely cooked fries once. They usually have both lanes opened in the am and lunch so the line goes pretty quickly. The people are friendly too. read more

This location is more hit or miss than any other Whataburger I have been to. I think they must have a high turn over because people seemed confused more often than not about a request. I ask for a water to stay hydrated at work and the long drive home and sometimes it's no issue, other times they have to ask and other times they tell me only if I get a medium. I don't care, just give me a water without hassle please. Sometimes my chicken is too overcooked to eat and sometimes they give me a Whataburger plain and dry instead of a Justaburger which is a $2 difference- I know, I don't come up with the names. I've had my hash brown sticks left out twice. Overall, it's typically pretty fast even during their rush and the mistakes are less frequent than when the order is right, thank goodness. Also, the drinks run big at this chain; a medium is definitly a large in my opinion. I will say that Whataburger has a pretty good fast food burger hands down. Also, they have surprisingly good salads. If you aren't in the mood for the typical burger or chicken sandwich I would suggest the Apple & Cranberry Chicken Salad. This location is at a very convenient spot on the corner of 121 & Denton Tap so getting in and out is quite easy. If they spread out their tenured people more to cover for their newer people I bet they would be a solid 4 stars, they just got to work out the kinks in service. read more

Food is better than the one on 121 in Lewisville but every single time I get "sweet" tea at this location, it's basically brown colored water. Y'all need to check the tea because it's so watered down. It's just water. Literal water. I'm giving y'all a three because I'm being nice. North Denton Tap Location - As long as "Erica" is still the general manager at this location, I will not return. She is rude to both customers and employees. I have come to this location and ordered the same things for years and never had any issues with the other managers and employees placing the orders, but when she takes orders, they are always incorrect or wrong. The food is great and every manager under her is better than she is. Food is consistent, hot and fresh. They brought the Chop House Chedder Burger back.......yummy 2 all beef patties (never frozen) topped w/ grilled onions bacon smothered in creamy cheddar sauce and steak sauce. A car Infront of me jumped out of line after ordering which messed up the restaurant order. Well I got home and didn't have a sandwich fries and a drink and cane back up to get it. Visited on opening week and noted at the time that service and menu knowledge was unreliable. I had to enunciate my standard Whataburger order 5 times at the drive-thru and my cashier still couldn't get my order right at the drive-up window. (How hard is it to comprehend wanting extra onions on my burger?) I chalked it up to opening week shakedown run and didn't go back until this week. This time I ordered an A1 Thick & Hearty burger and a Chop House Burger. I asked my order taker if the burgers came with pickles (since I didn't want them on there); she came back saying she had to check. Still disappointed that their staff isn't familiar with what they're selling, especially for being a home-grown Texas chain. My regular A1 burger came with 2 thin patties adorned with a slice of American cheese, not-so-crispy bacon, chopped onions and...you guessed it...A1 Thick & Hearty Steak Sauce. This burger has a rabid following among steak sauce lovers, but alas, I'm not a fan of A1, and I thought the dressing way too oppressive for the burger. Barely ate half of it. My Chop House regular seemed reminiscent of the A1: 2 patties, not-so-crispy bacon, over-grilled chopped onions, melted cheddar cheese and creamy A1. This one actually tasted better because of the tamer A1 sauce and the flavor profile somewhat reminded me of Jack in the Box's Ultimate Cheeseburgers. I miss the greasy burgers from the truckstop-style Whataburgers; this location doesn't seem to put out the same 2am-quality that I'm familiar with. It also seems out of place parked in front of a Market Street, where you can be sure the average patron lives in the neighboring medio-upscale 'hood.
