Fluffy eggs. I asked for the bacon extra crispy and it didn't work out very well, but the eggs were very good.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]I thought this place was very pretty. I enjoyed the aesthetic.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food was pricey, but good. The service was good. I think I would go back. It was enjoyable with my girlfriends.

Very good!! We decided to go for brunch after church. I joined the waitlist on our way which I'm glad we did. We were initially #9. By the time we arrived, we had moved to #4. We were seated about 10 minutes or so later. There's a bar area and they have fresh orange juice. We were seated towards the back area. Between the four of us, we had the Hemingway Omelet, Strawberry & banana waffles, oreo pancakes, and strawberry cheesecake waffles (hopefully I got the names of these correct). Everyone enjoyed their food. Definitely a great brunch spot.

Visited here on 9/13/25 for brunch. Was quite busy inside but able to be sat right away (4 top). [[HIGHLIGHT]]Cute decor and atmosphere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was good, but you could tell servers were busy The food was really good, I think we also order matcha pancakes? (Not pictured) wow - those were some yummy unique pancakes. Hemingway Brunch definitely worth a try

We were with a group of friends and decided to stop in for brunch. We liked the name and saw they had good reviews. We didn't know they had been voted Best in Coppell. We had a little bit of a wait while they set a table for us, but we were greeted and told us they were getting a table ready. There were seven of us. After sitting our server came by and told our orders. It took a little bit to get the food, but we did have seven people. Once everything was served we were are pleasantly surprised how good everything was. They have large portions. Some of us shared meals. Their pancakes are a good size, not huge, fluffy and delicious. The omelettes were very good. The chicken apple sausage was amazingly good. I loved the fresh squeezed Orange Juice. It was a very nice, relaxing meal. Our server was great.

Food was great! Billionaire's bacon was to die for. The croissant toast is definitely worth the upgrade as a side.

The food was really good ! Attentive service and [[HIGHLIGHT]]the ambience was quiet but relaxed.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I ordered the Flambé French Toast and it was so good ! I don't even like wet bread but i ate the whole thing ! I also got scrambled eggs with cheese, bacon and house potatoes, all of which were seasoned well, fresh and well cooked. The bacon was a bit oily but literally that's bare minimum for bacon lol it was interesting that their French toast doesn't have a combo, i didn't like that i had to get everything separately and there wasn't an option for a combo. I loved the mimosas though !

Was heading to trader joes, but also craving an omelette so i was happy this place was close by. We ended up getting the Pancake sampler, which allows you to pick three different types of pancakes, the wife ended up going with Berry, Matcha and lemon poppy. I ended up getting the Hemingway omelette. Everything was delicious and really filling. We didn't finish it all. Out of all the pancakes, i really enjoyed the lemon poppy. As for the Hemingway omelette, i wish it had scrambled hashbrowns as an option instead of the small cut potatoes. The interior is very clean, and the servers are friendly and came by often to check if we needed anything. i'll definitely be back. There is also a patio, where if you bring your dogs, you can enjoy the food here and sit outside.

    Khoa N.

The pancakes at Hemingway are good but don't make the mistake like me and order the Sampler... THREE of these pancakes are too much food for one person. One criticism I have is the majority of these pancakes are super sweet already, there's no need for a thing of syrup next to it My friends gave praise for the Omelets. I thought the Hot Cocoa was kinda watery... I wouldn't order it again.

I loved this place! Honestly I did eat a lot of great food while in Dallas but this place was definitely one of the top! It was super family friendly, meal was great, drinks were great and our waitress was so nice! Food had a lot of flavor and came out pretty quick honestly, the prices were decent and all in all I would definitely recommend this place!

    Salmon Benny - OUTSTANDING!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance of Hemingway is so whimsical and refreshing.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food was absolutely delicious and I'd HIGHLY recommend the Salmon Benny to anyone! The only reason I am not giving this place 5 stars is because my best friend and I felt very rushed by the server. The restaurant was almost empty when we arrived around 1030am. There was no need to press us. It seemed as though they wanted us to eat and leave as quickly as possible

Tillamook omelette with side of breakfast potatoes
    Reba G.

A friend found this restaurant by doing a search, so we decided to stop in. Service was top notch, and we were seated really quick. The weather was nice outside, so we opted for the patio. The mimosas come in a variety of flavors, so I picked the pineapple mimosa. I ended up ordering the Tillamook omelette which was stuffed with veggies, fresh jalapeños, bacon and of course Tillamook cheese. It was a huge portion, and it was really good. The house potatoes were flavored really well. Prices were decent and service was really good. I'll definitely come back when I'm in the area. This place was packed on a Friday morning, so I can't imagine what the weekend rush is like.

    this place was so yum

wow delicious yummy outstanding food so good i wouldn't change it for the world. i need a bloody mary and they did me right

My omelette was immense and full of flavorful ingredients. The side of hash browns were perfectly cooked and seasoned, I don't think I've ever had better. My partner's chicken fried steak was much better than we expected. Firstly, it was massive, demanding its own plate. Secondly, it was covered in exceptional sausage gravy, which was a delight as chicken fried steak usually comes with bland cream gravy. The atmosphere was a little overwhelming for my taste, but I'm there to eat, not admire the walls. The service was great, fast and frequent enough for us.

I don't think they had much warning, but they did an impressive job getting orders out quickly and accurately, all with separate checks, no less! This spot is clearly more breakfast focused, so lunch is not really the star of the show, though they do have a handful of options. I was not in the mood for anything heavy, so after doing a little menu research ahead of time, I asked if I could order from the kids menu. Grilled cheese for me! I upgraded my fries to cheese curds for a small upcharge. I have definitely had better grilled cheeses in my life, but this was a perfectly fine, basic sandwich. What really stood out was the service. At our table of eight strangers, our server, Anaya, got every order exactly right, and food came flying out of the kitchen in about eight minutes. Nicely done by both the front and back of house. I definitely want to come back and try breakfast!

We had an 11:00 AM reservation and noticed plenty of open tables and booths (though I'd still recommend booking ahead just in case!). The food was incredible: Strawberry Cheesecake French Toast: I wasn't even hungry when I arrived, but one bite of this sweet masterpiece changed everything. Highly recommend! Croque Madame: My friend ordered this and loved every last bite. Kids' Flatbread Pizza: Smelled amazing the second it hit the table--super garlicky! Her daughter devoured it, and after trying a bite, I'm already eager to come back and try their other flatbreads. Our server was fantastic--attentive, friendly, and fast with both drinks and food. First, I'd like to start with the positives. Our party of six arrived shortly after opening, so the…read morerestaurant was not overly busy. I had notified the restaurant in advance that we were celebrating three birthdays. The food was somewhat mixed. The Chicken Alfredo lacked seasoning and was underwhelming, while other dishes, including the meatballs and chicken parmesan, were satisfactory. I personally ordered a pizza, and it was excellent. It was easily the highlight of the meal. Unfortunately, the service significantly impacted our overall experience and is the primary reason for my low rating. Our server, Casey, was not attentive or welcoming throughout the visit. One member of our party requested a simple modification to his order while she was still taking orders, but her response came across as irritated and unprofessional. Throughout the meal, she never checked on our table to ask how the food was or whether we needed anything. Despite being informed of the birthdays in our group and being told by management that complimentary birthday desserts were available, these were never offered. The most disappointing interaction occurred when I requested a refill after my drink had been empty for quite some time. Rather than acknowledging the request or apologizing for the delay, she appeared visibly annoyed and rolled her eyes. When she returned with the refill, she handed it across another guest instead of bringing it directly to me and immediately walked away without saying a word. Additionally, the automatic gratuity was not disclosed until the end of the meal. While I understand restaurants may have gratuity policies, communicating them upfront helps avoid misunderstandings. Overall, while some of the food was enjoyable, the lack of customer service and professionalism left a lasting negative impression. Service plays a significant role in the dining experience, and unfortunately, this experience did not meet expectations. Based on this visit, our group is unlikely to return.

The Silk Road - Spicy Lamb Malabar…read more First time ordering lamb at The Silk Road, and I'm kicking myself for waiting. I'm eat 4-6 meals from here a week, but I usually stick to other favorites. The Spicy Lamb Malabar just became a new regular for me. Today's plate: Lamb: Seriously impressive. Huge serving of fall-apart tender chunks with zero gaminess. It soaks up the sauce perfectly and the curry leaves give every bite that aromatic, almost nutty fragrance. This is the most protein for you body builders and bulk weight trainers. Sauce: The big chunks of tomato were a standout -- bright, slightly sweet, and they kept the dish from feeling too heavy. Curry leaves were fried into the oil, so you get that flavor all the way through. Spice balance: It was light on mustard seed this time, and I didn't catch the sweet spices like cardamom or cinnamon, like last weeks shrimp Malabar. No mushrooms today either. Honestly, I didn't miss them with how well the tomato and lamb worked together. Why it's stellar: Even without the full mustard/sweet spice profile I was expecting, the dish is just dialed in. The heat builds slowly, the lamb is top-tier, and the curry leaf + tomato combo is addictive. For a first-time lamb order, this was a knockout. To The Silk Road team: You've got me converted to the lamb. If the version with more mustard seed and that whisper of sweet spice on the finish comes through next time, this is an easy 5+/5. Today's was still a solid 5/5 and I'm already planning when I'll order it again. Bottom line: If you're new to lamb or new to The Silk Road, start here. The Spicy Lamb Malabar is bold, comforting, and flat-out delicious. Even on a "lighter mustard" day, it's one of the best dishes I've had here -- and I'm here 4-6 times a week.
