7/26/22- Being from Texas I was excited when I discovered there is a Whataburger here. Not the same culture though. The staff are what ruins this location. No one cares about being there which to me is a direct reflection of management. These people hate their job. Yesterday I stopped by there and the fries tasted like they had been reheated. Wow! My friends and I went in at 10:55pm (Breakfast being served 11pm-11am), and the service was so great and very prompt allowing up to go ahead and order breakfast. I've done an app order to try what I thought would be a "faster order" to skip the line. I waited over 30 minutes to receive my order which whenever I pulled up to the speaker I said that I made a mobile order and I said I want extra cook time to my bacon which the lady said that it was already made. I made it up to the window which comes to find out that my order wasn't made yet. So I said to them again to make my bacon extra crispy because a few places won't do it unless specified. So after waiting more than thirty minutes I had to ask for my order. I didn't have cheese on it and the burger wasn't even good nor hot. Not bad for a fast food chain restaurant. Got the triple cheeseburger with fries and a drink. Wanted something quick to grub on the way home and made a quick stop and try the place out since I heard so much good things about it. Didn't really know what to get since it was my first time so I ordered the first thing I saw on the menu. Good size burger and fries was nice and crispy. Actually really like the fries. As far a Whataburgers go, this is exactly how you would expect. Went around 12pm so the place was packed but we got our food within 5 or so minutes of ordering. Space to sit was limited just because was so many people but staff was cleaning off tables as soon as people left. read more

Being from up north, I've never had whataburger before. My first thought was that it would be gross as can be. (I tried another fast food place, Checkers, and that was worse than McDonald's) Was pleasantly surprised! Their chicken strips are pretty good and everything else is decent for the price. This is not one of the cool buildings with the high roof, unfortunately. Bonus for being able to get breakfast and lunch at the same time here. We drove back home to the coast to seek warmth and shelter from the Texas Winter Storms and when my family & I arrived, we had a coupon we wanted to use. Well, unbeknown to us, due to the Winter Storms in Texas, the whole Whataburger online system was down. So I should say that since moving to the south, I have really loved Whataburger! Everything tasted super great until I got to a biscuit that had an egg that didn't appear fully cooked so I stopped eating. Used to be my favorite fast food restaurant in D'Iberville until the 24/7 Whataburger had a "lobby is closed signed" on the door even though there was a group of people in there eating and would not let us inside to order our food, we got dropped off by an Uber so we were stuck there. They were waiving us off before we even walked to the door and wouldn't even speak to us. I finally knocked on the door again and asked if we were allowed to walk through the drive thru line and the man wearing a wife beater and lady working told us "we don't give a f*** what y'all do" I'm not sure what they have going on in there but I won't be back.
