What a quaint establishment, literally in an old filling station. Great vibe and even better Service. Better than expected and extremely reasonable prices. Food fresh, better than most seafood establishments I've been in. Huge crawfish, Ahi tuna done to perfection, and a huge bowl of red beans and rice with plenty of sausage in it. The wait staff is very knowledgeable and accommodating. all in all a magnificent experience. This place is a true sleeper restaurant in Biloxi and highly recommended! My only regret is I did not take pictures of the menu and the actual plates of food. I guarantee I will do so next time. read more

Little old gas station restaurant and bar. It's very small, mostly outdoor seating. We ordered the crawfish nachos after hearing raves about them. They were just ok, shredded cheese doesn't win in my book when it comes to nachos. That stuff needs to be melted and smooth like queso. The dish was cold as it came out. All other dishes that came out were so hot they burned our mouths. We had the shrimp basket, seared tuna wrap, kids chicken dinners and a roast beef poboy. Alcoholic drinks were limited, all canned or bottled. Overall I was not impressed but willing to give it one more try. read more

My friends and I had spent a couple of days eating at our hotel's on-site restaurants. We wanted something different, local, and hopefully a little less expensive. The Fillin Station checked all of our requirements. We enjoyed a nice dinner on a Wednesday night. Our party of four shared the Crawfish Nachos and Buffalo wings. The Crawfish Nachos really stood out. For my entree I had the Seafood Gumbo. I do like gumbo, and I am from south Louisiana so my standard is very high. Picture this... Memorial Day weekend highly rated establishment that the locals swear by has one server for the busiest weekend of summer. We get to the restaurant after a shuckers game and the pictures on the website and Facebook must be of some other place or AI. because there's no way the food we had resembled what's on the website. We waited for a while to place our order. Beer was not cold and took another 15 mins to get to the table. The waitress didn't seem like she knew much about the food. We placed our order. Set close to the kitchen and saw our food in the window waiting to be brought out and everything came out together. Apps and entries. Look at the pics below if you think they look anything like their website or fb. Food was cold and the crawfish nachos that was a local hit, man I feel for yall. I would've been better off eating nachos from the shuckers game. The pasta I had was noodles with a bland sauce that was so thin it fell through the noodles and the seafood was sprinkled on top. Was not cooked with the pasta sauce. I have the pictures. Even though we had crappy service she still got a good tip cause it's not her fault they only scheduled one person to work that night. Love this little spot! Easy to find on the corner and great old service station vibes. Grab a table outside and they'll be right with you. The Bloody Mary is packed with flavor - the home made mix has a nice mix of vegetables and spices blended in (but not spicy). I was hoping for a few more garnishes, like the other photos, but it was also the evening so perhaps they didn't expect the order and have them on hand. I also got a bonus mimosa as they made this drink by mistake. Mimosa comes with a little bottle of Cook's champagne so you can balance your out the OJ to your liking. 6 raw oysters for $10 is a steal when you're coming from NYC. They're big meaty oysters and served with lemon, cocktail sauce and saltines. Shrimp basket comes with a generous portion of shrimp and nicely breaded. Basket includes a side. My dining companion and I were not pleased with our choice. The seafood gumbo was a huge portion and somewhat tasty but we are from Louisiana and it was a solid 6/10 on the gumbo scale. It was more like a chicken gumbo they added a few crawfish to than a seafood gumbo. Her Diet Coke was not right so I told the waitress and she never replaced it. The pastas both came out tepid. I'm leery of cold food. The redfish pasta with seafood sauce had a single crawfish in the sauce, it was scarce in my dish as well. Not at all worth the price charged. Overall this was a miss. I read old reviews and my impression is someone in the past cared about food but they are gone now and they just sling the hash. Wish I'd had it in the hay day! When me and my besties and I go to The Hard Rock, we always stop by to get a late lunch before driving back to Mobile. I've eaten most of their poboys, burgers, and appetizers and always enjoyed them. Yesterday, the only portion of the $125 meal that was good was the crawfish nachos. My oyster poboy, which was served at least 10 minutes before the other plates, was awful. The oysters were over fried in what tasted like old grease. My daughters pasta was just cold and had zero cajun spices. It was very disappointing, so I wonder if there is a new owner or chef. I'm not sure if we will go back, and that's sad. read more

Girls trip and my friend found this place on YELP and was drawn in by the deviled eggs, so we planned to visit here for lunch during our stay. We arrived and found parking behind the restaurant. At lunchtime there was no wait but it was pretty full inside (it was quite cool outside). I ordered the fried green tomatoes (not on menu) and my friend was also in luck because they had some deviled eggs left (also not on menu). She loved the devil eggs! The tomatoes tho...the least favorite I've had. The coating was thick and the tomatoes were hard. I understand there is a balance to keep the coating on while frying - but that ain't it. I ordered the shrimp Po Boy with potato salad, deviled eggs friend got the fried crawfish tails with Piroux sauce (sandwich?) with fries and our non-seafood friend, the nachos with chicken. The tails with the sauce was the winner - generous portion of fried crawfish tails and the sauce - yes please. The PoBoy was good but the nachos were a thumbs down due to dry, tough chicken. That's the two stars. The food was the problem Being from Louisianan, I have eaten crawfish all my life and when I order crawfish balls, boudin, meat pies, etc than I expect "crawfish".....not macaroni. The balls themselves were huge and had only one or two crawfish stuck in the outside sauce. That was it!!! The inside was filled with bad macaroni so I felt like the joke was on me. Quick delicious southern favorites, my crawfish poboy was hot , well dressed ( all the fixings) with soft bread. I was so happy with the crawfish nachos- (they are like a meal themselves ) along with the fried pickles and jalapeños. Not a soggy one in the basket, they went well with their home made Yum yum sauce ( I say that because it's what we said upon tasting it) . The ambiance is open , like a car garage with a lot of curated antique signs. I love it , reminds me of Brimfield antique show finds. Delicious Cadillac margaritas too. Everything tasted delicious the 2nd night too. The only reason it's Not getting 5 stars , the bathroom door . It's in view of the dining area and not pretty when left open.
