1. Very long wait. 16 minutes from time of ordering in drive-thru until we got to the window. 2. Got our order completely wrong. It wasn't even close. I thought maybe they had the wrong person but they did not. They just really screwed up the order. 3. Tea tasted very strange. Very.... could not drink it. 4. Burgers were far too salty. As if the top to the salt shaker fell of and all the salt poured onto the burger.... but BOTH burgers were like this. 5. Apparently they put so much salt on the burgers they didn't have any for fries. No salt on the fries. 6. Speaking of fries, inedible because not only were they cold but they were stale. How is that possible? We're HUGE Whataburger fans but this stop has made us question if we ever want to chance a Whataburger ever again. No question we'll never visit the Floresville location. I don't know if water in Floresville has an odd taste to it but the iced tea here definitely had an odd flavor, almost like coastal water. The soda had that same odd flavor and it also tasted like the Dr Pepper was lacking in sweetness. I was so thirsty so this was definitely disappointing. read more

Wow. Walked in at 5:55am and were greeted by 4 staff, including the gentleman janitor, who had a huge smile when he opened the door for us. Friendly conversation continued while we placed our orders. First of all we love Whataburger but our experience at this location has been like no other. We placed our order at 8:39 pm and didn't receive it until after 9pm. When we finally got the order about 5 minutes after inquiring when it would be ready, 2 out of 3 burgers were incorrect. We took the receipt and burgers back to the register. They kept the receipt brought back a bag with only 1 burger in it. We informed him it should be 2. 7 minutes later they bring the other burger and it's still not the buffalo chicken sandwich we ordered so we took it back to the register again after a few more minutes they brought the correct sandwich but it was cold. Gave them 1 star because at least the employees were friendly and when we finally got the correct order the food was ok minus being cold. I felt bad eating while the rest of the family waited on their food but cold burgers and fries are not appealing at all. I hope they do better in the future. read more

Delicious food and very helpful staff...however some either horse play, or health problems from the kitchen. It may have not been the case but I am sure I heard someone vomiting or at least gaging from the kitchen. I don't want to assume Because I have been in the exact spot before but if you do feel sick or if you are having problems please go to the bathroom and take care of yourself. I don't know what happened to whatab here in Floresville but it has definitely gone down hill. It feels like every time we go there now they always get our order wrong. And on top of that you have to deal with the kids that work there who apparently think they are entitled. I had one girl that worked there tell me I am wrong and I didn't order what I definitely did and she continued to argue with me before I finally gave up after a few back and forths. It's simple to just listen and pay attention and I feel that they don't do that at all. I have been to many Whataburgers in this great state and have found them all to be about the same. This one was as good as any. My dad and I went in on our way back from Rockport. This was a good place to stop on the way to San Antonio and we were STARVING. Walked in and no line (just as I prefer). The cashier was super friendly, probably one of the friendliest I have had at any Whataburger. It's a shame I didn't catch his name. We ordered with some friendly and enjoyable banter. Then, we got our drinks and waited for our order. It didn't take too long, which is always preferable. The same cashier brought our food, let us have our selection of condiments. The only complaint I had, which is the same one I always have: the cheese on the burger is not melted, not even a little. I like the meat. I love that there is mustard instead of mayonnaise. The fries are good but WHY is the cheese not melted? That would be the only improvement. Restrooms were clean. I always like to mention this because when you are passing through small Texas towns, a clean restroom is so refreshing. Of course, I will be back to Whataburger at any location. It's so good! Management treats their employees like shit, doesn't care about cleanliness unless the higher ups or corporate comes. Blames everything on one specific shift. For a fast food run on my way home at midnight I was pleasantly surprised at the experience. Quiet reply on drive up, no impatience when asking for time to decide, and though it was midnight I got fresh and hot fries with my combo. He even apologized for the longer than average wait and gave me a apple pie thingy (don't ask me what they're called, I really don't eat them) in my food bag. On any given day, at any Whataburger, I can pretty much expect to give at least 4 stars. I know I am getting a great burger made when I order it, hot fries and a cold drink. Tonight I was very disappointed. It's really the first time Whataburger let me down. The burger was cold. Definitely was not made when I ordered it. The cheese never even melted. Not to mention it was not made with what I asked for but I was hungry so whatever. The fries were cold. My drink was warm. All kind of the opposite from what you would expect from a Whataburger. The food is basically the same as all other Whataburgers... but the service is horrendous. They take your order, read it back correctly.. but something happens between the time the guy takes your order and the guy that's actually putting it together. Almost every single time I ask for no tomatoes, there are tomatoes. If I ask for cheese... there is none (even though you pay extra for it) my husband got a bacon cheese burger... somehow there was no cheese or bacon. We live 4 minutes down the road and always have to nuke the fries because they're cold. Not impressed with the service at this Whataburger. I went by Whataburger in my town of Floresville to get a quick bite to eat last Friday. Watch them! They don't use gloves while fixing your food and there were flies all over the place. I would recommend Dairy Queen which is just right down the street. read more
