Every time I go to Whataburger at night the worker saying order online or doordash. They never taking card or cash at night . I ordered ahead I got there and got my food made it home which is up the street less than a minute away. My burger is cold and the fries are cold and soggy. I went back up there to let them know the manager said I'm not remaking it so I said that's not my problem by food was cold he said come talk to GM in the morning. fat burgers y'all, like gigantic um wasn't expecting it! first time here & im used to the typical mcdonald's & wendy's size burgers. i'm a west coaster y'all so bare with me! i came here with my dad on a friday afternoon & ordered a regular cheeseburger meal with water. my dad on the other hand got a double cheeseburger meal with a vanilla milkshake. (they literally give you 32 oz of milkshake wtf) that's some shit wow! anyways i would say this is a really good burger joint. there was nothing that really stood out to me as spectacular but they do give you huge portions. if you like hearty burgers this is fa sho the place for you! the fries were also bomb af, hot fresh & not too greasy. will definitely be coming here for when i'm in the mood for a fast food option read more

8/17/2022 between 8:00 and maybe 8:25 I ordered a Patty Melt combo and a cinnamon roll. I was ok with the can beverage due to the water "crisis" in the city of Jackson. But he gave me a what appeared to be a single Whataburger with onions , mustard (ew) , and cheese that wasn't melted. Hint hint (the meat was cold) Since I'm being honest, buddy didn't sound too thrilled over the speaker system to take the order. Rebuttals were brisk because they were out of condiments. Anywho, when I made it to the window and paid, I received everything except the cinnamon roll. As I was pulling away he stuck his head out the window and to get my attention. I got the cinnamon roll and got half way home after eating the fries, to discover that nasty tail burger wasn't a patty melt. You plucked me with that one. I probably didn't need it it was late and I had just gotten off the road. Thanks for wasting my hard earned $12/$13 and my time. I think I'm done with fast food for the rest of my life. On our way to Memphis we stopped in Jackson to t gas and this happened to be next to the gas station and based on TikToks my son had watched about it from TX he really wanted to try it out. We had their vanilla and strawberry shakes which tasted like most fats food shakes but their burgers did taste very good, well seasoned, juicy, and big portions. You can pick what type of bread you want for your burger, one person got brioche and another Texas toast, fries were good, and their chicken tenders were juicy. Our only big complaint is their use of styrofoam which is a huge planet killer, I believe that regardless of the state regulations food chains should help the environment and set a better example. read more

I just happen to be staying at a hotel nearby and decided to sit down for dinner. I came here and had my first Whataburger ever. The burger was really good but I wish they put mayo in the burger instead of mustard. Nonetheless, the ingredients were fresh, the bun was soft and the burger was grilled perfectly. The food was served to us and the server offered us ketchup or spicy ketchup along with other condiments. Worst service I've ever had. I sat in drive thru for more than 45 minutes with only 3 cars ahead of me. I waited an additional 10 minutes and I still never even got to the window. There were 5 more cars behind me!!! After almost an hour I left, went across town to the County Line Rd. location and placed the same order, got it in less than 3 minutes, and was back home in 10 minutes. The Gallatin St. location will never get my business again. Before you slap your forehead again (trying to remember her name among your many woes), look to that orange Nickelodeon orange wonder-woman beacon! It is still night-time in yours and the drug zombie's book. You know what to do. That crisp brown bun is a crisp and familiar large pancake that you press to get a prize. As you press--your hand feels that whole-warmth you notice that spherical, flat, dog-eat-dog brown double patty. Yellow restaurant cheese and clear beef grease mix in a blessed alchemy. As you look at those soiled fries, you hear the crunch of the green lettuce. Hidden in the bite are those cubed cold onions--not quite as cubed as McDonalds efficiency. Rather, these spheres snap and pop over the cheesy beef bed where they were laid to rest. What food we did receive was good but ended up having to stop somewhere else since my sons food was missing from our order. Terrible customer service! I'm a big fan of whataburger, but our experience at this location was subpar to say the least. Our order was incorrect and when we informed the cashier, Ken, he insisted that the order was indeed correct. We were then required to bring every burger we had purchased up to the counter in order to prove to the manager that our order was indeed wrong. We then retreated back to our table, waved the flies off of our fries, and waited another 10 minutes for the correct order. Overall terrible experience. read more

I recently read an article about the top ten chain burger restaurants in the USA and Whataburger made the list. I was recently on a road trip and stopped at this Whataburger. I ordered the burger combo meal (#1) and the food was excellent. I was with two other people who had never eaten at Whataburger before and they absolutely loved it. I only wish they had Whataburger locations in Missouri so I could enjoy it more often. I do have to mention the restroom was rather disgusting at this location.
