I decided to visit this restaurant after reading positive reviews on Yelp. It was my first time in Mississippi, and I wanted to try something local or at least not from Louisville. The menu was impressive! I chose the Bulldog burger, which came with bacon, sharp cheddar, pickle, tomato, Bibb lettuce, red onion, yellow mustard, mayo, and seasoned fries. Another great experience. Stopped by on our way home from Biloxi. The burgers and fries were great. Paid the extra for one of us to get the truffle fries, but really couldn't tell a huge difference on them. I went with the jalapeño popper burger. Love the cream cheese along with the bacon jam. Super juicy burger with great flavor. Husband went with the Lauren burger. He loved the fried avocado and the bbq ranch. Get an extra side of that bbq ranch to dip the burger in. This was my first visit to Bulldog Burger. We were probably the second customers in for Friday lunch. My husband was in the mood for a good cheeseburger. They have some great options. I decided to try the fish special, which was Cod. We started with the French onion soup. We shared one bowl, it was plentiful and delicious. His burger and my fish meal were both perfectly cooked and generous portions. The restaurant was clean and nicely decorated with TV's broadcasting sporting events mounted on the walls. The manager, Jamie, checked on us mid meal and we had no complaints. Sunday lunch at Bulldog Burger, we were seated right away, Restaurant was clean and pretty quiet. Vibe is kind of an upscale family friendly burger place. Menu is pretty extensive. We were waited on pretty quickly, Asia (our waitstaff) was friendly and knowledgeable, definitely very helpful, she was attentive but not pushy. This Bulldog Burger has plenty of parking and has a fun ambiance to the place. My server here was fantastic and she definitely enhanced my overall experience at Bulldog Burger. The menu here had a lot of great options and since the place is called Bulldog Burgers, I ended up going with one of their great burgers. The burger I went with was their Mission Burger and I added jalapeño peppers. For my side, I went with their truffle tater tots. I have to say that at a table next to me, they had the onions rings and that's what I will go with as my side next time. The Burger was great and the truffle tots were good. Our server was the bartender, Ryan. Very nice and well informed about the menu. He was very attentive to our needs but did not hover. Mike had the pepper jelly and cream cheese hamburger. The house made fries made fries were good. The first batch was just warm so we requested hot, fresh ones and Ryan quickly accomodated us. Not sure if the ranch is made in house, but it's a really good ranch. I would be shocked if it's not made in house. I had the hot and sweet chicken sandwich. It was really good, but I want to say that I think that chicken is so good, It doesn't need to be covered in a sauce. It is a moist, crispy piece of chicken that they have pounded out perfectly , and it deserves to be enjoyed without being covered by a sauce that overpowers it.
