Went to the Mount Pleasant, TX Whataburger to pick up my online order. When I got home (30 minutes away, an hour round trip), I discovered two meals were missing. I immediately called the location and spoke to the manager. She told me I could drive back to have them remade. I explained that I wasn't going to spend another hour on the road for their mistake and simply asked for a refund. She replied that it was "not company policy" to issue refunds and instead offered for me to come back tomorrow to get the missing food. I told her I don't come to Mount Pleasant often and would not be able to come back tomorrow. She then offered to extend the remake for a week, and later even said she could ask her district manager to extend it for two weeks. None of this fixes the fact that I paid for two meals I did not receive. This is absolutely unacceptable. Refusing to refund customers when an order is incomplete is stealing. I paid for food and did not get it. Whataburger should do better. read more

Poorly made burger, meat dried out and not hot. Very few makings on burger and buns mashed flat. Fries cold. Mount Pleasant WhatA Burger quality and customer service (management) has recently gotten very poor. Managers want to party with young workers instead of insuring orders are correct and good quality. Lines are sometimes long when you go at night. Sometimes it's faster to get off and order inside. Try the avocado burger or a Whataburger w jalapeños and bacon. Get the white packet spicy ketchup! read more

Interior was littered and saw some hidden trash, the breakfast pancakes were huge so that's good, my Moms coffee wasn't good (but between us and me, she is picky with coffee), and the wait time felt like 6 minutes but they did serve us pretty fast. read more

Drove through to order #5 add an extra patty. It was another Whataburger that told me to order my order this way. Here, I was told no, that's not how they do it. I have to order a #2 ($1 more) and then add bacon and cheese. Well, I get it but I'm not spending an extra $3+/- than what I would have to spend. She wouldn't allow me to order it my way so I left. I hate to give a Whataburger such a low mark. I realize they are short handed and it was crowded. The drive thru line was extremely long so we went inside. I ordered a Whataburger with Mayo and mustard and of course all of the trimmings, pickles, lettuce and onion. My wife ordered a Whataburger with no pickles and no onions. It took forever to get our food. When we did finally get it the burgers were cold along with the fries and the buns were so dry when you bit into them the buns just fell apart. If this was the first time I had eaten at Whataburger I would not ever eat at another one based off of this experience. read more

After a long drive bringing my mom back to MP, we here after 10pm so my food choices are limited. I see a Whataburger so I figure I can't go wrong with taquitos. So I order 2 with sausage egg and cheese add grilled japs. Worst taquitos ever, horrible...the process slice cheese is just sitting there and the meat tasted funny also. First time ever having Whataburger and WOW! The staff here is nice and the line moved quickly. We got the Buffalo chicken strip sandwich and the honey bbq chicken strip sandwich and they were both amazing. There was a good amount of chicken and it was nice and crispy. Generous amounts of sauce and the bread was soft. 10/10 for food. read more

This is not the best Whataburger around - since the outside sign advertised "hiring for asst manager and crew," this may be a location with problems. Our order was not made the way we like it, nor was another table's. The burger meat itself was also a little over cooked and slightly cold. How can I tell? My cheese never melted. At all. Ever since you were bought out by the company from Chicago the quality of your food has dropped considerably. I used to eat at Whatburger (and was my favorite burger) once a week for 50 years but it seems every time I eat there I have to send it back or just throw it away. In all my years, Whataburger would cook to order and the food was always delicious and fresh. Now, I will not bother stopping in because I know the food will be awful. It is sad to see the "death of an iconic burger joint" because of a buy-out from a northern, yankee based company. Ate here on a Saturday for breakfast. It was one of the worse breakfast foods I had in my life. It did not have any taste and the pancake tasted so so. There are other eating places that offer breakfast in this small town so try those first before even thinking of having your breakfast here. Or better yet, whip your own breakfast at home before even eating here. I am sure what you make will be way better than what they serve here. read more

Whataburger in Mt. Pleasant Tx would be great but lately everytime I go they get my order wrong. The kicker is they ring it up right and the receipt shows it is right. Every time I go I spend over $30 and when you call them it's like a run around that they messed up on your order you paid for. Not getting stuff you pay for gets old. They used to have a email to email the owners but not anymore. Also you used to get fresh fries everytime you ordered food now they taste like they are old or refried. I love eating at whataburger but lately it is really off. Maybe this will get someone's attention and do something about it. read more

We LOVE this place!!!! We are from MO and this was our first trip to TX together and our first Whataburger--but we ate ALL of our meals here our first three days in Mount Pleasant!! Awesomely delicious, and the food is piping hot (be careful not to get burnt :), and we LOVE the Pledge of Allegiance posted in the window. The mushroom Swiss burger is fantastic. The only tiny recommendation I would give them is to put a "spicy" symbol on the menu photos of things with a little more heat, such as the patty melt. I have to be careful about spicy food, and that one was a little strong for me. But overall this is the best hamburger place we've ever tried. We like the retro packaging too. This place is just perfection!! Keep up the good work. read more

Today we visited the Mt Pleasant Whataburger for breakfast. Cashier was very friendly. We dined in and they brought are ordered I had to ask for my coffee then they brought me a small I ordered a large. Because I don't like to to go back and ask for a refill. Food was okay my husband had pancake platter I had a breakfast on a bun meal. Fries were old and cold. Okay so then I ordered a patty melt no onions and a breakfast burger to go. I always check my order before I go . My breakfast burger was suppose to be hamburger patty, bacon fried egg,cheese,no hashbrown. But it only had a sausage, cheese on a bun. Well the cashier apologized I was setting and waiting when cashier and manager came and pointed at me. Then the cashier brought me my sandwich and said they were mad because they game me right one the first time. Which was really incorrect. They did not ive me the right sandwich I showed her and don't treat your customers like that. So you have lost my business and my recommendation. read more

This is by far the best Whataburger I have eaten at. This is definently a small town place where all the retired go in the morning for good conversation and great coffee. Staff is very friendly,fast, abd knowledgable. Couldnt ask for a better family oriented place to go. read more

It is OK. The prices are way tooooo high for what you get. Not near as good as in n out. Everytime we go here the fries are not even room temperature they are so cold (and soggy) . Its not all negative the people who work there are always nice. Spicey ketchup is honestly the only reason that I go. I went into whataburger and the manager there was very rude. I'm usally very respectful to people and had he not approached me in an unprofessional manner I would have given him the same treatment. I've had no problems going there before but this certain manager was very rude. I know they're low on staff but atleast hire a guy with decency. And make your food better. read more

One of THE best cheeseburgers I've EVER had. Ate at a Whataburger in Russellville, AR. Very different but still very good.

People in kitchen dont even wear gloves but the person on the register was like they do sometimes.

Clean and friendly people but 9 bucks for a fast food burger an it wasn't all that good.

Had a validation code from a survey for a free WHATABURGER. Told them I just wanted the burger and drink and not the fries. They refused to give me the discount unless I took the fries. I told them they can do whatever with the fries. They told me I had to take the fries. I said no I won't accept the fries. I don't want fries. They instead rang me up and said I owed them $9.03 for a small drink and WHATABURGER. I said "how much". They said since I refused the fries I didn't get the discount. Where is common sense nowadays. I had a line of vehicles behind me waiting so I wasn't going to argue for 10 minutes with people that for sure had no common sense at all. That reflects very poorly on the management they had working the after 5pm shift. I tell you I wont ever go back to that WHATABURGER again. They not only lost a customer in me but my word of mouth will be telling my family and friends how sorry they do business. read more

Stopped here while in town for a high school band marching competition. It was about 1:30 when we stopped by but even after the lunch rush the restaurant was still very clean. The employees were friendly and efficient and got our food to us very quickly. Speaking of the food it was good quality, hot and fresh. The restrooms were also clean and easily accessible. read more
