Have you had the new Buffalo Ranch Chicken sandwich? I think I'm addicted to it. It has 3 chicken strips, creamy ranch, Monterey Jack cheese, and spicy sauce. I think the spicy is caused by tons of Tabasco sauce. Don't know for sure, but I think that's what I taste. I do know that it makes me sweat - always a good sign when eating some type of spice. The cashier named Tristan welcomed us as we walked in and he was very friendly and polite when he took our order. The manager Tabitha brought our order out in no time and it was hot and freshly made. She checked on customers several times as did Tristan. The restaurant was very clean in both the lobby and the restroom areas. As soon as customers left the tables were cleaned and sanitized. But this location has a high employee turnover rate and there's constantly new employees, which makes what you order versus what you receive is a coin toss. We went late one night and had a couple mistakes on our order. My husband called and Tabitha answered. She was so kind and apologetic. She immediately offered us replacement meals and had us take down her name. A couple nights later we went back - Tabitha greeted us so sweetly, immediately took care of us, and went above and beyond. Went to whataburger for fries - saw the new Mexican hot chocolate coffee and ordered one. restaurant accidentally made us a hot chocolate shake- upon requesting the coffee Michael (manager?) immediately said he would make us fresh coffee and within a couple of minutes had a coffee out with cream. Horrible. We stood in line ten minutes behind two HS girls who took forever deciding what to order. At least six or more employees walked around the registers, talked, but never offered to help us. Such a sad day for my whataburger self. I was driving back from New Braunfels and was craving a large sweet tea. Then, at the last minute I went ahead and got the number one meal. Always open your wrappers and throughly check your food before you leave the parking lot because these people can't even get the simplest things correct. They bully pregnant women. I waited in the drive through line over 25 minutes. I politely asked the boy serving the outside lane to "please check on my order." He played nice and gave me my food. Opened the whatachicken to find the bun half on (stuck that way because of the cheese) and Mayo intentionally put on the outside of the burger covering everything. It was nasty. They also intentionally over salted the fries making them inedible. They wasted my time, money, and were just rude for no reason. When I complained to the manager all I got was an "okay". 100% do not recommend whataburger and I'm done ever giving them my money. Gave this a 5 star even though order was not perfect. Manager took time on a very busy evening to check and take care of us. Drive thru and inside had steady stream of customers. Staff was busy and courteous. We had Dr. Pepper shakes which the boys (12, 9, and 6) enjoyed. Patty Melt was delicious according to 12 year old. Chicken strips were ordered by the oldest and youngest in our party and they said they were good. Two others had burgers....always a great choice at Whataburger! There were 5 of us and the young man taking orders was friendly and patient. One of the burgers should have been double meat and one of the cookies was missing from a kid's meal but all was taken care of and we were happy with service we received. Stopped in 3/11/21 to get a burger after a baseball game. Placed our order at 10PM. Delivered our order at 10:10. Neither burger was made correctly, just the opposite of what we ordered. The young man that brought our order to the table said he would have them remake the burgers. We finally got our food 40 minutes later. It was no wonder that the burgers were made wrong because everyone in the back was laughing and hollering at each other. Who could concentrate with all the noise. I don't know the managers name, but she was laughing and hollering just as loud as everyone else. She should not be a manager. Our order was not the only one messed up in the dining room.
