    Blu Burger with Fries

Bar Service was great, bartender was helpful and knew the menu, drinks were tasty and not overpriced . Grabbed a Blu Burger and went to town. Want to try their wings on the next trip out.

Well it was late and all were hungry so we sung into Max's on a whim. And it turned out to be a great time. We walked in and were welcomed by the staff. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Then throughout our time we all got to play shuffleboard, darts, pool and watch the DJ set up for karaoke later that night.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The playlist was on point with some great classic and country music playing.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food came out and it was hot, fresh and tasty. All the sudden our table was very quiet devouring our hot sandwiches and nachos. We will definitely be back, especially for some live music and their almost daily events.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Max's is a typical Roadhouse style Bar & Restaurant. No frills with lots of space for large parties or events with live music.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food was pretty good! We started with the Wisconsin Fried Cheese curds which were tasty. The highlight for me was the Pulled Pork Grilled Cheese sandwich! The pork was so tender and well seasoned. I couldn't get enough, even though it had a healthy portion of pork in the sandwich. The crinkle fries were on point as well.

Nice place in the Hill Country north of Highway 46. Wings were perfectly crispy. Service is excellent. Hill Country Margarita was excellent. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Highly recommend coming here to just relax and get away.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Always a fav.. love the revamped menu.. same selections but elevated. Only complaint is corn tortilla broke after 2nd bite.

I've been to Max's Roadhouse many times since they opened. Last night I went to watch a football game. The server was immensely attentive. I ordered the chicken quesadillas and was REALLY impressed! Their food in the past has always been typically sub-par bar food, but the quesadillas were honestly some of the best I've ever had. So much so, I sent two drinks to the back for the cooks!

I'm visiting from out of town and I wasn't sure where to go to watch a boxing match. Thank goodness I came across Bar three twenty one! Plenty of seating and lucky for me it was not a busy night. Plenty of TV's including a huge (maybe 75 inch) in the middle. Not a bad seat in the entire bar. They have a full bar, my drunk was just ok, BUT I probably should have stuck with something more basic (I had a Henny sour). Definitely a good spot with a few arcades and a pool table. Check it out!

I finally put it on this year's schedule and planned to go with a group of ten. But, as the day drew nearer, folks just started cancelling for various reasons, until we finally ended up with a party of five today. When we arrived, I was surprised at just how much of a "bar and grill" this was. I started getting nervous about the food. I know we've all been to bars that had horrible food before. Fortunately, this is not one of those bars. The food here was really good. We started with an order of fried mushrooms served with gravy and deviled eggs. I'm not a fan of fried food, but the others all seemed to enjoy them. There was a huge mound of them that all but disappeared. I opted for the deviled eggs- one of my favorite foods. These were topped with a crunchy strip of bacon and served with a pile of pickled jalapeno slices. The were super delicious! On our member's recommendation, I tried the orange chicken served with fried rice for my entree, as did two others. I was overwhelmed with the gobs of food the server sat in front of me. There were at least twenty bite-sized nuggets of chicken sitting on top of a bed of fried rice. That bed was obviously a California King! They were lightly covered in the orange sauce, but still crunchy. It was a very satisfying meal. I had the other half for supper, and it was almost as delicious heated up in the microwave. One of our people had a pepperoni pizza. It was probably about 18". The crust was amazingly thin. It just looked awesome to me. My friend enjoyed it, but carried a lot home with her. The fifth person in our group had the Reuben sandwich. She said it was delicious, but was put off by the amount of fat on the meat. Encore makes their own pastrami. The chef explained to her that the fat on the pastrami was what most people thought made it such a delicious meat. I know it looked great to me. I will most likely have that next time I visit, and there will be a next time.

When we were checking out different suppliers for catering drinks at her wedding, we found out several things. Those included limited selection of companies in the area, prices ranging from low to exorbitant, and much difference in how those different companies interacted with us and our questions. Bourbon and Branch was the hands down winner. They were not the cheapest, but they were very willing to work with us. On the day of the wedding, they came early for set up. They interacted with all of the wedding party and gave everyone a "warm fuzzy feeling" which put the moms at ease. The actual bartender was a hit. She was funny, efficient, friendly, and kept the drinks flowing smoothly. Will I return? I don't have any more kids to marry off but based on my experience with them, I will definitely try their bar.
