First time trying and I'm not rushing back. If you blindfolded me and gave me the burger to try, I would compare it to a Whopper. Hope you LOVE pickles and onions. I tried the regular cheeseburger. The people were very rude, we got our food but them some things we not right so we ask for it to be right, they we're extremely rude about it. The food was so greasy, and wasn't even worth it. We also had to ask for a table to be cleaned, also l went into the bathroom and it was so unsanitary. One of the bathroom had throw up on one and the other one had poop on it. I got the jalapeno burger meal. It was fresh. My only complaint is I need to ask for extra mustard next time. I like salty fries and was pleased with the amount some might think they were too salty. Of course their sweet teas is southern sweet . They had plenty of staff for the lunch rush and I had my meal within 5 minutes or less delivered to my table. You need to try the spicy ketchup for sure. The facility is new and typical fast food seating but again they have been opened for close to a month and still looks like new. read more

Do I love Whataburger? Yes. Do I eat at this Whataburger? Yes, again. Is it the best Whataburger I've had? Not by a long shot. There is definitely room to grow for Whataburger in Topeka. If the service continues to speed up, keep the food hot, and keep it clean, I think they can get more love. Again, I love me some Whataburger so I will be coming back for more! read more

I went to Texas for a few years to spend time with the grandkids. But they discovered boys, girls. and cars and I did not see them much anymore. But while I was down there I quickly became a fan of the Whataburger chain. I was worried when the chain was purchased but I never saw anything change. I was really happy to find that Topeka had gotten one and I quickly went to check it out. It was like being in Texas. Same great food, clean, staff was helpful. Take your pick of their offerings. Very slow service. Do not recommend coming if you're in a hurry but I guess that's the norm for "fast food". I've been twice and both times the food was cold. The third time I went I was given the wrong food and by the time I got to work and called them about it (I stated that I wasn't able to come back due to me being at work already) and is response was "really? You can't come back? You were just here" and started laughing over the phone. Never once did he ask if I wanted a refund or anything. I was not able to eat the food that was given to me because I'm allergic to avocado. This business is slowing getting worse just like the rest of them in Topeka. The place just opened and it needs a lot of improvement. read more

They say they don't cook a burger until it's ordered. That was the oldest, driest "fresh" burger I have ever had. I get better burgers at Casey's gas station. I mention to the person taking the order I had never been at one before and I asked for suggestions. Nothing. I am sure I will give them 1 more try. I almost forgot to mention that there was a lot of water on the floor and the employee walking through it did nothing to fix it while I was there. read more

Never got any other follow up calls or nothing so taking my business elsewhere. I was ok with giving them 50 to $60 each week but I guess they don't care so I'm going back to 5 Guys and The Glazed Goose both of which has Superior Service and Superior Food. If Patrick Mahomes is listening please help. The first month Whataburger was open it was great. Correct orders fresh hot food hot crisp fries burgers fully cooked great service. A month later Had an issue and the managing Partner Harsh called and spoke with me in detail about the issue assured me everything was OK and fine call me anytime with comments concerns and I'll help you any way I can. Few weeks later had an issue with cold breakfast after I asked the item to be made fresh and with an order that they left out the fries I specifically ordered fresh cooked since they had started to come out soggy instead of crisp. Called the store and talked to another manager that drives the black Corvette with Texas plates and said said he would pass the info to the managing partner and have him call me nothing . Waited a few weeks then called Corporate 3 times still nothing . Patrick Mahomes helped bring Whataburger to KS but for some reason it's not the same as the ones in Texas at which day or night I never had any issues. If I was Patrick Mahomes I'd be embarrassed at the Topeka location. read more

Very broke very poorly financed establishment. Not only that I pay $45 for two meals OK cool, but they don't provide you with any sauces with the meals. You have to pay $.75 per sauce. Remind you the sauce packets are very small. Very similar to the McDonald sauces. The fact that they don't provide you sauces with your meal is crazy. I know that's probably sounds outlandish to some however, when you order a meal, it should come with the sauces with it. It's a very poorly financed established to have to charge $.75 per sauce. The most I have ever seen was $.25. I will definitely not be back in my service will be elsewhere. I will be sure to spread the word around to let everybody know how ridiculous their charges and prices are. read more

Waited in line for 5 minutes at the drive thru at line #2 with no one asking for my order I finally pulled around and went inside to place my order and asked if line 2 was open and the employees just shrugged their shoulders so I asked for the manager and they just shrugged their shoulders also. Others who were in line behind me also came inside since we weren't being taken care of in the drive thru and were complaining nobody cared that we were inconvenienced. When I did finally get my food they had put two sandwiches and two orders of fries in a bag so small the fries were sticking out of the top and falling on the floor. I asked if they had a larger bag and was told no. I just left and will not ever be going back and wouldn't recommend this place to anyone read more

We went this week and while the food was good, I personally got the Cranberry and Apple Salad. There were no cranberries in the salad so went up to ask about it and they told me they were out of cranberries. They offered me more apples but what is the first name of the salad? CRANBERRIES! They should at least have told me they were out so I could order accordingly. Maybe even take some of the charge off. It isn't a cheap salad after all. Just want them to work out a little better service as this wasn't even a busy time that we went to eat. Not the front line who took the orders fault as she should have been informed when it was ordered that they were out of cranberries. read more

It will get better. For anyone going now that they have opened, don't expect too much, but it will get better....I have faith in the brand. Went through the drive through today and it took 3 trips for the young man to bring all of the order components. Ordered a regular Whataburger meal with a Diet Coke. Got a burger with meat, a ton of extra bacon and 2 mushy tomato slices...nothing else. Fries were cold, and the diet Coke wasn't close to Diet Coke....I don't know what it was, but it wasn't even playing the part. But all in all, the kids are learning and doing the best they could with the short-tempered folks around them, so I wasn't going to complain. They will get the kinks worked out....just give them a break and a little time and all will be good! read more
