Since they relocated to this location from the Bauer Farms location, the J Hog burgers have gone down hill, fries portion decreased, prices increased. My last burger about a week ago was an inch smaller than the bun & undercooked. The time I ate there about a month before, they burned the pattie & I had to send it back. Previous location consistently served the best cheeseburgers I ever ate in my life & I even told the cook! Step up or lose my business for good! Pork rinds were excellent, but that isn't what we go for. Also unplug the pepper bottles & wash the sticky bottles at the table. read more

There are so many cravings these days, typical of being in an environment when the selection is limited. Biggs delivered on this one! I had a craving for onion rings and sweet potato and regular fries - ordered the large size. Why large? Typically you just get one potato worth when dining in... and i was sharing these. Well i guess i ordered with my stomach not my head. The large was sufficient enough for 4 people. We ended up chopping the leftovers for breakfast with eggs. The regular and sweet potato fries were not as greasy as the onion rings which we could not finish due the grease. Otherwise, i would have given Biggs a 5 star. Had a horrible experience. Ordered through Jayhawk2GO had very specific instructions for no vegetables on the burger and guess what they sent me? Vegetables, lots of them. The bun was soggy with pickle juice and it was just about the worst burger I've had. I would never recommend a restaurant where they can't get the order right even when it's clearly WRITTEN DOWN. The prices were fair, the food had a very specific taste, and I always got a large portion of fries. Back in November I went in for the first time in a while and everything was different. The breading on the onion rings and fried pickles, the burger, the fries, I mean EVERYTHING tasted different. Whatever made it taste like "Biggs" rather than any other joint, was no longer there. I emailed them based off of the contact info on their website and asked if they changed suppliers? Or maybe it was just a temporary supply issue? I never received a response. This place used to be decent lower risk place for a fast celiac friendly meal, in my experience. The last two I've ordered from here, I've gotten glutened. I'm not sure if they've changed the procedures, gotten lax with food allergies and needs, or changed products. I will begin this review with letting you know that I've never been to this restaurant before and I just moved into town so I'm working with a pretty clean slate. I didn't order much but I will tell you that the farmers burger that was delivered to my door was not only oozing deliciousness it smelled of the hopes and dreams of my childhood. Though it was gooey and salty and crispy and delicious the egg was over cooked but, let's be honest, I ordered delivery. I couldn't sit here and hope that a perfectly runny egg atop delicious meat patties, ham and bacon would stay perfectly runny. That would be crazy, but I do wish it oozed some eggy goodness. I didn't order anything else because I just wanted a really good burger. I will say though, I would've ordered fries if there had been some more options available (truffle fries with Parmesan would be great, just a suggestion). Overall, for my first experience I'm elated by the scrumptiousness I experienced and am looking forward to more visits to try many more burgers. This was my first time trying this place, but since it was so hot outdoors, I had no intentions on driving to pick up food. I ordered the western burger and sweet potato fries and had it delivered. The time of delivery was ok, could of been a little faster, but it wasn't too long of a wait. But when my food arrived, I was less than thrilled. My burger was overcooked and the onion rings were soggy and I only got a sprinkle of fries...there was more of the container than food...and this all cost me 28.00, which 8 of that was in fees charged for delivery. You would think that at least for that amount of money, the food would make it worthwhile...the only thing that was good was the sweet potato fries, but for that price, I should have had more than a handful. I got the cheeseburger and the large sweet potato fries to go. I had to remove one of two patties because it was burnt black and crunchy. The fries container was less than half full. My coworker's burger was just as bad (burnt hard). Burgers by Biggs is the latest restaurant opened by the owner of Biggs BBQ. The burgers are handmade and perfectly seasoned. If you are looking for big thick burgers you will be disappointed. Burger by Biggs is not that kind of Burger, they are thin style (my personal favorite) and you can order them in a lot of different configurations. The basic single burger combo is $4.99 and includes homemade fries and a drink....You can't get that price at your local hamburger chain! I usually order this. I have also ordered the Black and Blue, it has cajun spices on the burger with blue cheese, the combination of the cajun kick and the blue cheese twang make this a fantastic combination. You must try the Jay-hog at least once it is a 50/50 split between a burger and ground bacon, amazing flavor. The fries are one of my favorite items in the restaurant crispy and flavorful, I believe they have my favorite fries in the area. They also have sweet potato fries and onion rings. They make their own root beer and it is worth a try. My only criticism is that they offer milkshakes that are hand dipped (which is awesome) but they do not offer malts. A shake to me is just melted ice cream, but a malt hits the spot. read more

I had heard good things, so I took my mom and spouse there for lunch on the weekend. It was around 1pm, but it was pretty empty. I split the JayHog burger and a large order of the sweet potato fries and it was plenty of food. I was a little sad at the size of the burger patty, pretty thin and delicate (I attributed that to the 50% bacon content), but wished it would have been a little more hardy. The fries were good, but I am spoiled and love to have dipping sauces (only ketchup and BBQ were available). I got the single Mushroom Swiss burger with fries. The first thing I noticed was how small the burger was. Picture a Quarter Pounder at McDonalds, but for twice the cost. And I am not really sure where that extra money went...the burger didn't have a whole lot of flavor. I am sure the meat is fresher than McDonalds, but the flavor of this didn't come through. In fact, nothing really had flavor - the meat, the bun, the cheese, the mushrooms...all bland. The most flavor came from the ketchup and mustard I added. The fries were the saving grace - some of the better fast food french fries I've had in quite some time. Crispy, full of flavor, and a good size portion (as opposed to the burger). Without these fries, my review would be 2 stars without a doubt. In the end, it's a burger place first and foremost, so the burger is what I am rating the place on above all. I try to eat somewhat on the healthier side, so it's rare that I go out and get a fast food lunch. When I do, I want it to be good and I'm kinda pissed when it is not. This was my second visit, and I was only returning because I received a voucher for a free sandwich. The pulled pork was tender and very moist but was not overly flavorful, and the sand which is served with only a small amount of BBQ sauce. To be fair my cashier did tell me it only came with a little sauce however the sand which over all was fairly plain. I also ordered onion rings which while crisp were also nothing special. Over all the food is nothing to wright home about and the menu items seem over priced for what you receive. My cashier was very friendly and polite so a plus for a pleasant staff. read more
