We were traveling through the area and saw the Whataburger sign and the orange and white striped roof and decided we were hungry. We parked and went inside to place our order. I noticed a strong smell of onions when I got out of the car! Foreshadowing!! Since I was driving, I couldn't check the Yelp reviews but took a peek while we were waiting for our food. I noticed on the receipt that I placed my order at 12:56 pm. I also noticed lots of people waiting for their food. There were two construction workers that had ordered before us and they were still waiting for their food as we were finishing our meal. They went up to the counter to ask for their money back. I don't blame them. Someone from back in the kitchen area came to our table and asked if we wanted just a meat patty with nothing else? I said I would like it dry and with everything except onions. To me that means no mustard, no mayonnaise along with lettuce, tomatoes and pickles. I did appreciate her taking the time to verify how I wanted my burger. A little while longer and finally we were handed our bag containing the #1 meal - hamburger and fries. And it's almost comical after reading the reviews about all the onions, my burger I ordered did have a couple of pieces of onions on it that I simply picked off. If you eat here, you better want onions!! LOL I didn't time the wait time but right after I finished my meal I took this picture at 1:23pm so the entire meal was going on close to 30 minutes. The food is quite tasty! Lots of selections from you to choose from. (You may want to look up their menu online). The service is usually pretty good. They get a bit busy in certain times of the day, so be warned there might be some waiting either inside or in drive through. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed. read more

I've been been to quite a few Whataburger around the state of Texas and this is the worst one ever. The staff act like they don't care about anything. They're extremely slow. I just went to burger cheese only. It was $8.40. When I gave the guy at the window, my money, he had closed the door drawer and looked at me like I should give him the change and it was a big deal for him to get the drawer open to get the change out , get out he said they had to take extra time with it and I had to go over and wait in one of the parking spaces for him to deliver it when I got it it had mustard on it. I didn't ask for mustard I only asked for cheese. My recommendation if you have the time avoid this Whataburger completely drive down the road a little bit and go to Midlothian and get something from another fast food place because this place sucks. WHAT BURGER?! My family and I waited in the drive thru line for over 20 minutes. They left out a hash brown, utensils for the pancakes, and napkins. A few of my other family members were in a separate car and they didn't get any ketchup! The cheeseburgers themselves had way too much mustard and pickles! This is the WORST whataburger I have ever been to. We started in the drive through at 9:00pm and it wasn't moving so we decided to go inside to order. My food is typically consistent with other Whataburger stores, but last week I saw some very bad behavior by staff. Myself and my hound daughter were eating in. One of the staff members was speaking loudly about how "that Mexican lady" and her kids made such a mess. In truth, they did leave a huge mess, but that's not something you discuss in that manner in front of patrons. She continued to complain while mopping, cleaning tables, etc., even cussing with some co-workers. Not acceptable. My food had raw onions that should have been cooked. And then while eating I noticed the sleeve of my coat sticking to the table. I wet a paper towel and rubbed off the "clean" table. Brownish green stuff came up off the table. This location is attached to a gas station and has a limited menu. I went at 4PM on a Thursday and there was no line and my food was at my table in less than a minute. The staff was friendly. The only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is the nearly empty dining room could have been swept of straw wrappers, a French fry, a ketchup blob etc. the staff was busy with the drive-thru. The tables were all wiped down and they offered to take my tray right away when done. Wet floor signs out, I think maybe they were going to mop soon before the dinner rush. read more

From wrong order, food not prepared as order and bad food in general, it's not worth paying money for. Scrambled eggs looked and tasted like rubber.
